[Éamon]

an interesting book but not really my thing. i guess there were some insights to gain when comparing modern politics to the last 80s. it did make me think about things and was really selling the diplomat lifestyle to me for a while

[Cormac Mc Garry]

A fun frolic through what a junior diplomat from a small country actually gets up to, from boring paperwork to peace negotiations. Worth a read for any aspiring diplomat in particular, but would also recommend that alongside a book from a more senior/accomplished diplomat.

[Mark]

More a collection of anecdotes than a coherent novel, but very enjoyable.

[Blain Murphy]

An interesting look at the Irish Foreign service and the politics behind it all.

This was a present from a friend which I very much enjoyed reading over Christmas - certainly an interesting book!
