Just interested in an intro to higher education administration. This is a pretty good, easy-to-follow overview of the issues and culture of student affairs admin, at least from the perspective of this particular beginner.

This is an excellent guide to the new and seasoned professional in Student Affairs. The best assets are the step-by-step guides for key areas in supervision. Highly recommended for the Student Affairs professional.

Some of the chapters and authors are more interesting and well-researched than others. Read this for a grad school class (College Student Personnel Administration)

Good general overview of things. I think its strongest points were its personality and management type sections.
