One Boy will Stop at Nothing to be the World's Strongest--Not Even Grinding!
Mattias--formerly the world's strongest sage--must now put his personal quest for power aside despite his mostly triumphant rebirth. By foiling a demon infiltration at the interschool tournament, he has brought down their wrath on the kingdom! But before he can protect mankind from the imminent invasion, there's housekeeping to be done! From dungeon crawling to amassing items, Matthias has to employ the skills that earned him the title of "sage" in his past life to rout the demons and their plot!
This volume starts off really strong with some fun dungeon crawling. I can't tell you how long its been since I read a manga that had dungeon crawling as a story/world element that actually engaged in the actual dungeon crawling. I'm hoping in the next volume we can spend a bit more time with the girls since this one was a bit heavy on Matty and his just general OP-ness. Also for being so OP he is definitely a bit dense, what do you mean by coincidence, those are not coincidences.
While slightly shorter than the previous volume, this installment delivers a satisfying continuation. It delves deeper into the training of the two girls, showcasing their growth and potential. Meanwhile, the narrative continues to emphasize the overwhelming power of the main character in this world. The concluding chapter skillfully sets the stage for the next volume.
