Captain Malik and the crew of the Vihaan II are trapped in warp space, as they're pursued by the mysterious government agent Richter. They have two choices -- drop out of warp speed and risk being destroyed by Richter or stay in warp until their engines explode from overheating. Who will survive long enough to discover a living God?
Richter is a rabid dog. It’s cliched without character development.
Why would boy Hauer be so stupid as to leave the channel open? Must be the writer trying to force situations to occur. It’s a bad look when it makes your character look like an incompetent, idiot co-worker though. No wonder ‘the ship has ears’ when the crew is literally screaming secrets out into space.
The writing is dumbed down in this one. The captain talking about the ‘gods’ losing something sounded like a 5 year old. Just spit it out in proper English, please. I think he was saying that the ‘gods’ are travelling through space and losing mass / devolving before they reach the human civilizations? His dream is to see one in all its glory, which he can only do if he finds their civilizations.
The ‘god’ in this chapter has her eyes shut. That’s new.
How convenient that Rabid Richter, who talked a big game, didn’t do anything when given the first chance. All so the Vihaan II crew could have their conversation and the captain could have his thought diarrhea. Yes, they’re so lucky.
Did…Did they just yeet their food out the window? I thought they saved up stock for this journey? Well, guess you gotta do anything to survive. Hope they can get some new nourishment from the new ‘god’.
This is where Humble Bundle left me - and it's a shame, because the fate of one crew member hangs in the balance and I wanted to see what happened to her.
