I needed something light, fun and hot as hell. Let me tell you these Sexy Shorts by Kathryn Nolan packed a punch. Delicious and hot erotica. What I really enjoyed and appreciated was the different genres. There’s historical, M/F/M,
F/F, M/M just to name a few. I was very satisfied. No pun intended ;) Some favorite of mine include One Hell Of A Restaurant, Wild Horse, Did You Touch Yourself?, The Wedding, Another Boring Night at the Opera, Seize The Day and Like Petals in the Sun which is going to be full novel. So I’m very excited to read more of Delilah and Henry. So if you’re in the mood for something very sexy this novella is it!

Sexy Shorts: Collection of sweet, filthy, red-hot short stories, written by Kathryn Nolan delivers as promised. What makes her collection a little more than advertised is a lighter touch and more rounded characters.
The first short story sets the tone. A couple sets the upper limit on the notion of public display of affection and in so doing spreads the love into several nicks and corners of a restaurant. This same notion of public lust will appear in a later short story. Generally, I do not like crooks getting lucky, but Ms. Nolan has made her crooks other than trigger happy drug running thugs.
Over all several alone time, or sharable warm up reads.

Sexy Shorts is a stimulating, passionate, exhilarating read. Kathryn Nolan is brilliant at captivating readers with a quick, blistering story and never has this prowess been more evident to me. I have admitted previously that I don't like short books; I prefer full length novels. However, the characters and settings of these short stories are masterfully rendered to life. I devoured the words. They set my mind and body ablaze! If you want to steam up your kindle and your bedroom, look no further. These stories deliver the heat in spades. They also exude connection, hope, yearning, romance, and love. This book packs a lot of diverse content into rapid-paced reads and Ms. Nolan's ability to stir the reader's imagination is stellar. Get out your fire extinguisher cause you’re going need it. These stories aren’t just hot they sizzle! This isn’t a made for tv book, it’s so much more! Finally all my favorite sexy shorts in one hot spot! The author took the heat an amped it up to another stratosphere.
Each one of these fourteen stories is different and and not redundant in anyway except for the heat index . Not only are they sexy, steamy and romantic...they’re fun. You will find yourself smiling even while you’re FANNING yourself. Get yourself a cold drink before you start to read these...you’re gonna need it!
Of course I have my favorites, but I’m not going to say which ones they are cause you need to decide that on your own. I know there will be a topic in this book you’ll like. This is a collection of 14 short stories by Kathryn Nolan and features an amazing variety of contemporary, historical, M/F, M/M, F/F and M/F/M stories! Some are more smutty, others are more romantic, but all of them are well written and engaging. Below is a quick summary and review of each short.
One Hell of a Resturant - Super hot and a very unique premise that follows three different couples hooking up while at a restaurant.
Wild Horse - Cute story about a cowboy falling for his brother's ex-fiance. This has the potential to be expanded for sure!
The Hero and the Rookie - A longer story featuring a menage relationship between a woman, her firefighter boyfriend, and his new co-worker. I've never read a MFM where all participants were intimate before and it was HOT.
Did you touch yourself? - Not one of my stand outs due to the second person narrative and the D/s relationship, which personally isn't my cup of tea. I can see why others would like it though!
The Gift - A sweet, historical romance about a woman in love with the man betrothed to her sister. Cute HEA ending and I could definitely see this working as a longer novella.
He was Luke Skywalker (Not Han Solo) - One of my favourites. College house party 'locked in the coat closet together' hook-up between two friends with great chemistry. I'd LOVE a full length version of this one!
Like Thieves in the Night - Very unique short about two rival criminals at a robbery hiding from the cops and hooking up. The enemies to lovers aspect was super sexy.
Ambrose - Another historical romance featuring an older, wealthy woman and her younger gardener. Not my favourite trope but the sex scene was great.
The Wedding - Another longer one, this time a M/M friends to lovers. I don't usually read M/M because I find it easier to relate to female characters, but this was a sweet and sexy romance with a great HEA. Very well developed plot and characters for such a short story.
Another Boring Night at the Opera - Established MFM relationship. Really hot and the dynamics between the three were very well written, but I think 'The Hero and the Rookie' is the better of the menage shorts, probably due to it's longer length.
Seize the Day - F/F teacher & student hookup. Not one of the standouts but still good.
She'll Always Know The Truth - Dom/Sub, all sex, no romance. Not to my taste but I know others will enjoy it.
Let It Be You - About a young couple getting back together after four years apart. He waited to loose his virginity with her. Super sweet second chance romance.
Like Petals for the Sun - This was an excerpt from a full length forbidden coworker romance which is releasing later this year. Lacking the sex aspect but there's some making out action and it's a great tease for the future release!

Are you the type of reader who highlights passages and bookmarks pages to go back to later? Especially the hot, steamy, sexy times for when you need…ummm…inspiration. Then this book is PERFECT for you. Kathryn Nolan writes some of the hottest and sexiest scenes I’ve ever read. With this book you get 14 of these steamy and very “inspirational” short stories. I don’t know what you’ll need more after reading them, a cigarette, a glass of wine, or a fire extinguisher. All of the shorts are very different and there’s bound to be one to strike the fancy of anyone. Not only do you get steaminess, but the characters are likeable and you get invested in the story even in a short amount of time. Kathryn Nolan is simply an amazing author with anything and everything she writes. Get this book! I give this book 5+++ fiery stars!

This is my first read by Kathryn Nolan. I had looked up femdom and this was a recommendation. This is not a femdom book, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. This collection contains 14 short stories. Stories vary in length and filth. If you are looking for a variety of tropes and are open this is a perfect read for you. Sexy Shorts - a delicious assortment of sensuous food for the brain! Kathryn Nolan manages to find something to tickle everyone’s fancy and mine was no exception. Each short immediately grabbed my attention and left me completely sated. I found this book to be a wonderful switch up from my normal reading without having to switch genres. Nolan’s wildly sensuous imagination allows for the utmost tantalizing page turner. This book was such a welcomed change for me. Kathryn Nolan has made me an absolute lover of “sexy shorts”.

Sweet, sexy, downright dirty...this collection has something for everyone!
I love Kathryn Nolan's glorious ability to take a conversation or a moment in time and craft a sexy little fantasy around it. Even though these are snippets of life, they're richly detailed. It's easy to imagine the feel of rough fingertips, hear the rustle of clothing and breathless moans, see the flush of passion and ecstasy. Each story is unique, each encounter is....satisfying. I can see myself rereading them often. 5 stars!

This collection of 14 erotic novellas burned up my kindle! Ok, ok...my kindle is fine, but I had hot flashes that a woman my age can just blame on my hormones! Hey, it’s not a lie!!

Kathryn Nolan has put together a collection of stories that cover a wide variety of tropes for our reading pleasure. Every single story is excellent on top of being sizzling hot. Kathryn’s writing skills are easily seen in this diverse collection. You may not want to read this book in public as there will be side effects!

WOW!!! If you want something steamy to read but you don’t have a lot of time, pick up this book. It’s a collect of incredibly hot short stories to cater to ever single one of your preferences. It is amazing how Kathryn can get you fully involved with her characters in so few words. She is the Queen of the Sexy Shorts. I highly recommend this book for all those lonely nights at home or to share with your significant other.

Phew that was hot
Kathryn brings all the heat with these beautiful short stories. I was a bit unsure about some of them as I had never read romance that has more than just the main couple in the heated scenes. I have read other books from Kathryn before so trusted her as her prose is a thing of beauty and she knows how to steam up a scene. Was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading outside of my comfort zone. Well worth a read.
