This Christmas, the Elf will get a gift too.

Noel:
Being an elf isn't as fancy as it sounds. I work alone, live alone and I like it. Kind of. I have a whole farm to myself and Little Kitty to keep me company. It's not a lot, but I'm happy. I don't need anything else. Right?

Caleb:
Finding out your girlfriend--who is also your Alpha--has been three-timing you isn't fun. When I ran off the pack-land in a fit of rage, I didn't expect to end up in a rainstorm. Or find my mate. But I did. He's a man. And an Elf. A sweet, gorgeous elf.

Set in Stella Rainbow's fictional town, Mistvale, My Elf Mate is a 25k words novella that will give you all the Christmassy feels with warm hot-chocolate, Elf and Santa costumes and fun times including super sensitive elf-ears.

What happens when and elf and a shifter mate?

A lot of good things, good people, and other good books.

An elf is strong but loving. His kitten is playful and loves the cat tree. His mate is a wolf shifter that is so in love.

Soon renovations for a bigger cabin, a best friend cat shifter, an alpha, and a new and growing pack is formed. Other series characters sneak by to get you to read some of the other series books. But you really want to find out what is happening. Just be sure your cellphone is charged.

This is the 3rd book of this series I've read and I've come to the conclusion that these are not the best books. The writing is just plain bad. Could be there's a hidden gem somewhere in this series of shorts, but so far they're all pretty horrible.

I did like this one slightly more than the other two I read.

This time we have an elf paired up with a werewolf. We have all the usual mate stuff, insta-love, biting, and that kind of stuff going on. And it was nice. But I still can't say I really enjoyed it.

Time to call it quits with this series.

I liked the characters. Short, sweet insta mates. I just couldn’t get into the story. I was more interested in the best friend and the squirrel, so may read Jai’s story.

This one is a cute, short story. Cute idea, with lots of potential, all of it is left undeveloped.

The things I'll read for a challenge. At least it's short, without any glaring typos or grammar errors. Adding .2 stars for good editing alone!

A Meeting of Misfit's

Noel has been living in Mistvale for two years, living and working at the tree farm, ever since his supervisor had come to the conclusion that Noel wasn't cut out to work in the factories. It could be lonely at times but his duties at the farm were normally finished by noon each day and left him time to volunteer at the shelter and also have time to spend on his hobbies.
When he found a dog collapsed and soaked in the middle of the woodland he carried him home and took care of him, imagine his surprise the following morning when the dog wakes up and suddenly changes into a man, a very naked man....he wasn't a dog at all he was a wolf shifter.
The shifter Caleb quickly became aware that the elf was his mate, and very male, he'd never expected to find his mate or that his mate wouldn't be a female. But the fates know what they're doing, this is destiny.
Lovely seasonal romance between two lonely people that haven't fitted in anywhere, beautifully written and heart warming.

An adorable romance that will get you in the Yuletide spirit.
Set in the imaginary paranormal world of Mistvale the story follows down-on-luck elf, Noel who mistakes his mate-wolf shifter Caleb as a dog injured in a thunderstorm. What follows is both hilarious and adorable to read.

The duo are downright couple goals as they complement each other perfectly. Be it the way Caleb helps Noel look past his insecurities and how Noel readily opens his heart and his home to Caleb.
|"He tasted of the dessert we’d just eaten, but also of cinnamon and light and happiness. He tasted of contentment and love and forever and he was everything I’d been looking for."|

Overall a short, sweet, insta love and low angst novella that makes for the perfect afternoon read.

ARC received in exchange of a honest review.

This didn't work for me as much as I'd hoped. Noel is an elf who's been fired from all other jobs and is stuck running the Christmas tree farm. He's been criticized his whole life and is resigned to living along with his cat when he finds a wet dog (oblivious it's a shifter). Caleb ran away when he found out his girlfriend has a few other men on the go and finds his mate.

Of course it's pretty typical. He doesn't care that his mate is a man even though he's never been with a man and after a little reticence Noel accepts the mate thing right away. So it had what I wanted but it just didn't work for me. It was too easy and Caleb seemed quite flighty and Noel goes from being a beaten down little elf to a more confident person. I mean that's nice but it happens in 24 hours. Also, considering how shitty his bosses treated him and him being punished for trying to be a whistle blower, at the end the bosses renovate his cottage, give him a month off for vacation and agree to let the newly formed pack live on the tree land. So I was confused why people who had no use for Noel would suddenly do all these nice things for him.

But depends on your taste. You don't not need to have read any of the other books. While you meet a few other people in the town, their stories have no bearing on this one. Just wasn't for me I guess.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book. It was cool to read Noel and Caleb’s story after meeting three throughout the Mages of Ravenshire books. I liked how when Caleb met Rebba they formed a pack that will be inclusive to every shifter, which is great considering what they’ve both been through with their previous packs. I loved the connection between Noel and Caleb and I loved how such a sweetheart like Noel showed Caleb’s old alpha/cheating ex-girlfriend how strong he is after she lashed out at Caleb with a homophobic slur when he brought Noel with him to let her know that he’s leaving the pack. It just showed how protective of Caleb he is, which is how mates should be. I’m looking forward to reading Devon’s story in the new Misfits of Mistvale series as he needs some love after everything he’s been through with the pack he was born into. This book is very fast paced instalove book since it’s a short story, but still a really enjoyable book. I’d recommend this book and author.

What a wonderful and sweet holiday story! My Elf Mate is Book 6 in the Elves After Dark series and it's so incredibly sweet. This takes places in the town of Mistvale and you see some familiar faces in the community. Noel is an Elf who owns a large farm and manages it himself. Caleb is a wolf shifter who has run away from his pack and his cheating Alpha ex-girlfriend who was three-timing him. He discovers his mate when Noel picks him up in shifter form and takes him back to the farm. From there, they quickly fall in love and it's a sweet romantic story as Caleb decides to move to Mistvale to be closer to his mate :) Lovely world of magic, shifters, and elves in the wonderful town of Mistvale :) Really enjoyed reading this story and the entire series has been wonderful! Perfect holiday read for everyone to enjoy :)

I seriously loved this story!! Noel is an elf that cuts and manages a Christmas tree farm. He’s content with that and taking care of Little Kitty. Caleb is a wolf shifter who is upset when he finds out his girlfriend Alpha has been cheating on him. He runs away and Noel finds him. Not soon after Caleb realizes that Noel is his fated mate. This was a super sweet, fluffy, romantic story! This story takes place in the author’s fictional town of Mistvale. I loved the first Mistvale story and we get to see the continuing love of Jai and Raph. The story was well written and kept me glued to the pages. I am voluntarily leaving a review form an advanced copy that I was gifted from the author. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

Noel, a solitary elf content with his quiet life and feline companion, never expected anything to disrupt his peaceful world. Caleb, a wolf shifter reeling from betrayal by his Alpha girlfriend, storms away from his pack—and straight into a fated encounter that changes everything. Stranded in the rain, Caleb finds his destined mate… a man. An elf. Noel. As identities clash and sparks fly, both must navigate a future that neither saw coming—but which might be exactly what they needed all along.

This was a sweet novella where calm meets chaos and turns into magic. This was a very Christmassy story with all of the references to santa, elves and Christmas trees. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

I received an ARC and I'm freely reviewing.

So, this is a new author to me, the premise sounded great. I did enjoy the story between Noel and Caleb. You know at times when you're reading and you smile at the characters or laugh out loud along with them. I had a few of those moments with this book. Caleb found out some bad news and just got away and ran straight into Noel. Noel is a sweet elf that has been living a lonely life because those in his past just always put him down or he was brushed aside. Caleb is the first person that makes Noel feel like he is a good and special person. This is a cute book. Very enjoyable.

Elf and Wolf shifter fated mates

This is a very sweet story about fated mates on a Christmas tree farm. Noel works for the Christmas corporation on their Christmas tree farm. His life is good but lonely, until the day he rescues a large dog in a rainstorm. Caleb is a wolf shifter running from his old pack when he gets caught in a terrible rainstorm. The sweet young elf that takes him home is adorable and, as it turns out, his mate. A lot of tender emotions, some instalove, and a side of passion all work together to make this a truly cute holiday tale. I enjoyed reading this - it was like a warm hug on a chilly day. Just right!

Cute like the previous one, a short but well-balanced novel. I really liked.

It focuses on the characters’ self-esteem, just like the previous one. The couple is cute, but there's not much chemistry between them. Maybe it's because the book is shorter and didn't work much on their relationship.

I was a little confused, since they are new characters and I thought the series would follow characters already presented in the books and these two didn't appear in the previous one. But it must be to introduce new characters from them, I don't know.

Fated Mate/ No MPreg/ Not much sex/ Shifter/ Elf/Wolf/ Low Angst/ No Action/ No Drama/ No Suspense

Part of the Elves After Dark series, this novella is also set in Mistvale, the town from the book Touch Of Magic. While I don't think it's necessary to read Touch Of Magic first, some of the characters appear so it would be worth it, also it's a great book.
Noel and Caleb are in an instalove situation but that works because of the fated mates bond they have. It's downright adorable. They are both slightly lost souls, unappreciated by those around them, that find family in each other.
Short, sweet and well written

This book was a short, sweet read. Noel is an elf who manages a farm. One night he come across what he thinks is a dog, out in the rain. He brings the dog home and warms him up by the fire. Littke did Noel know he had brought in a wolf shifter.

Caleb awakens to Noels home. He never thought his fated mate would be a man, but Noel is the sweetest and Caleb is attracted to him.

It was a quick read and I love fated mates and sweet, fluffy, low angst. There are characters in the story from Touch of Magic which added fun to this one! Happy Christmas read.

This was a simple story, perhaps a little too simple for me. It was sweet even with that insta everything happening. I wish there had been more meat to this one.

This is a really sweet and fluffy insta-love Christmas romance between an adorable elf and his protective and doting wolf shifter. As soon as Caleb lays his eyes on Noel, he is completely gone, and it's all heart-meltingly swoony romance from there on out. There is zero relationship angst, all the Christmassy cozy feels, and a small cameo from our other favourite couple in Mistvale. Overall, an extremely adorable and quick read!

This is a cute short story set in the town of Mistvale, a place I was happy to visit again. Noel, a lonely elf and Caleb, a wolf shifter discover they're fated mates, in a meet-cute when Noel thought Caleb was just a dog. Once Caleb reveals that he's a shifter and also Noel's mate, things move quickly between them.

My Elf Mate is insta-love written in a sweet way, with fun, endearing characters and all the mate on mate hanky-panky your heart might desire. Enjoy!

Stella Rainbow is very hit and miss for me. I've given some books 3 stars, while I DNF'd another (I've DNF'd less than 10 books total in the entire time I've been reading so that says something.

This one was a pleasant and solid 3. Maybe even a 3.5. It's an entertaining short (at about 100 pages) fated mates story perfect to read for the XMAS season. Basically wolf meets elf and presto! it's instalove !

Really sweet story of Caleb and Noel. Both drifting through life not being appreciated by anyone. Both men wanting love and to be important to someone. When Caleb was running from his pack ,and ended up on the Christmas tree farm Noel looked after he immediately realised Noel was his Fated mate. They came together quickly and became the family each other craved. Thoroughly enjoyed this story

A very sweet instalove Christmas love story that was full of lightness and love. Noel and Caleb were just adorable and so nice, no angst and some warm hearted moments. I was really happy that they finally found a family where they felt like fit. A short, sweet story with the magic of Christmas running through it.

Beautiful feel good love story.

I absolutely loved this story. Not that I don't mind conflict but sometimes you just want to feel good. It was so well written, several times I shivered as the love just came off pages into my heart. I have never left a review before but just had to so I could say thank you for this beautiful story.

the elf and his wolf

Caleb found that his alpha he was dating was also seeing 3 others so he took off running and ended on the Christmas tree farm that Noel worked on. Noel took Caleb to his home and cleaned him up but then Caleb realized that Noel the elf was his mate. He turned it his human side and told Noel what they were and it didn’t bother him at all. Good book!

Sweet story

Caleb is a wolf shifter who runs off after being cheated on, and fate brings him to Noel, an elf. Caleb knows Noel is his fated mate. Noel is attracted to him. Their relationship moves pretty fast even though each one makes assumptions about the other at first. They were really sweet and lovable together. Totally devoted to each other.

Super short, sweet, and to the point. I could’ve done with a full book for these two, because I am deeply and fatally fucking curious. I did not get enough info on elves and The Christmas, and I would’ve loved to have seen more of the shifter dynamics and the pack getting a bit more comeuppance.

4.25/5. Cute little short full of instalove and finding your home/found family.

Such a sweet story! An elf, a shifter, Christmas spirit and so much fluff!!! It's a very pleasurable, low angst story with a fated mates trope. The characters had a lot of very fun qualities and the overall story was really fun!
