Ainz as Momon is trying to reconnect with his lost humanity. Being transported in undead avatar form deadened his emotions and moral as a racial characteristic of his undead class.
Playing his role as adventurer was helping Ainz recall the best traits of humans. It was going good until remembered in a bloody way that humans were very good at inflicting harm on their fellow humans.
Something I didnt say in my previous reviews of this series is how amazing the covers are, some of the best I've seen!
Just like the previous volumes, volume 3 keeps the amazing art style high in a big battle arc. For me one of the best moments in the series was Ainz vs Clementine and its done so well in this volume!
Volume 3 contains one of my favorite sequences from both the Light Novels and the Anime, namely the fight between Ains and Clementine. The art and story were all exceptional, and as such I rated this volume highly.
Momon in on a mission to rescue Nfirea from a secret society. Meanwhile, Shalltear and Sebas are 'researching' abilities that weren't a part of the original Yggdrasil game.
There's... lots of boobs in this one... and a bit of nightmare fuel... not a fan of either.
4.3/5 Obsessed with the deplorable Clementine, Ainz’s covert feminism, pansexual vampire murder-maidens, and the slime woman who loves seducing people into becoming her dinner in the most bizarre but hilariously fierce way
I’m enjoying this series a little bit more as it goes on. Hamsuke is still my favorite, but I’ve enjoyed the reveals of the characters as they go. It's still not my favorite but enjoyable enough.
