Hidekichi shares more glimpses into the daily lives of Neko-sama, Inu-kun and Tokage-chan with a series of sketches showing further details of the animal family members’ personalities. From something as simple as taking a new route home to going on a long journey to a distant shrine (?!) the fast-paced tales will keep you wanting to find out more!
The first two books in this series often relied on cat & dog stereotypes for humor which felt trite but in Volume 3, the individual personalities of Inu and Neko really shine. I hope that Hidekichi continues to portray the uniqueness of her pets in future installments, the series is much more charming that way!
idk why but personally the texts are quite messy and its hard for me to get used to the story flow. i love how it also relates to real-life pictures but i think this would be more likable to read for pet owners, who have experience in taking care of their pet. as im not a pet owner myself, its hard to understand/relate to some situations shared. some stories were quite disjointed but overall, really enjoyed the art/cute expressions.
Gosh, this series keeps hitting me in the face with its utter cuteness! The short comics instantly picks-up your mood. It’s been three volumes, but I’m not tired yet.
