Creepy Crawlers

People don't want to believe Fran was responsible for taking down the Greater Demon on her last mission and thus must have been raised to D rank through unethical means. Thus she is sent along for a rank increase test for E ranked adventurers to prove she is not as weak as people assume and along for the ride we get to see more of Amanda much to Fran's horror. Honestly I like Teacher but Fran's reactions always amuse me and through her we get an idea how skills and magic seem to happen in this world which is pretty cool. Anyway this adventure is taking us to the guild controlled dungeon called The Spider's Nest but when they get there somethings seem to be a little strange so be sure to read this volume for plenty of action and of course Fran because she is a ray of cuteness. :)

By now, if you have seen my other reviews, you should know I love this series. The artwork is always super well done, the action is handled really well, and it sticks to the main points of the light novel without really deviating too much which is also fantastic.

Fran's relationship with Amanda is one of the high points of this manga, including finding out why Amanda feels the way she does about Fran. (more so than her protector of children thing) I admit, that really touched me and was a nice little added bit to this manga.

Overall, I don't have too much to say about the manga. It is more of the same you already come to expect from the previous volumes, so if you are this far in, you are already enjoying it and are probably going to keep reading it, just like I am.

Fran and her sword named Teacher set off on another mission to gather magicite from a low-level dungeon to prove her worth, but the dungeon was harder than first anticipated. While reading this I was shocked to see how much Fran and Teacher have grown as characters. In this book, I liked how they introduced the A-rank character as a mother-like figure to Fran. For example, Amanda said, "But if I win you have to call me Mommy". The intended audience for Reincarnated as a Sword series is people who enjoy action and adventure. I think it's interesting how they put a twist on the Isekai genre.

More world building, learned about skills and magic and a new complication has arisen in the Spider's nest dungeon. Also Fran begins to train skills to use without the use of Teacher.
