This is a great continuation of this series! It’s full of action, danger, adventure and a little fun! There’s challenges and surprises, it’s exciting and entertaining and I loved it!
Okay, book 9. First, reading 9 books is unusual for me, what could be in 9 books of 12 that would keep you interested and enthused? So much that you not only love the book but you want MORE! Evolution of the characters as well as the author! I love how this series has grown! The central characters have grown so much, and with that, so has the adventure. This is one of the writers I recommend to everyone. I do work with disabled Vets and the homeless, do you know how much they need to escape, books are good for that. Bless you Sarah for all the joy you bring to so many. I have the next book on order and am looking forward to it. Happy life, wonderful books. Everyone, try it you'll like it!
Adapt Or Be Crushed is so jam packed with action and adventure. Sophia, as always, has a lot to do! I continue to love the interactions with Liv, so I'm pleased there is still a role for Sophia and Liv to work together. Lee the assassin baker had a larger role in this book and she is such a crack up. Evan finds a wife - all for the good of the world. And the ending sets us up to go straight into the next book. I can't wait!
This is another brilliant story in the Exceptional S. Beaufont series. Sophia is busy in this book because there is a lot is going on. Nevin Gooseman vanished after his magitech army was destroyed, but he still manages to create some nasty surprises that are not only a danger to the Dragon Elite but could also be a threat to all the races. This is a fast paced, fun story that has thrilling action, humour, love, wise words and amazing characters. From dangerous battles, rock giants, killer bugs, deadly monsters and malfunctioning portals, Sophia and her friends have their hands full. I loved the romance, Lunis’ humour, the adventures with Lee, and the cameos the author slips into the story. With every book you discover new aspects to the characters personalities, new dangers are faced, challenges are met and lessons learned. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this story and can not wait for the next book to come out.
Each book of the Beaumont Sisters I read is better than the last. This one is no exception. So much more fighting the bad guys and more danger than you can imagine. I have fallen in love with all the characters in the book but for the bad guys. Those I feel sad and pity for as am sure you will too.
Wish I could give it more stars than 5. ****** at least
S. Beaufont does SO much in this book, it's hard to think of just one thing. Though freezing a lava octopus was interesting, or building a cairn and running from murderous lightening bugs. Eating her weight in junk food to refuel (it's GOOD to be a magician) and more adventures with Lee and Lunis. I could go on and on. If you haven't read these books yet, you are in for a treat. Sarah Noffke is a fantastic writer, and these books are an example of her at her best. I enjoyed the various cameos by people she knows, and can't wait to see who is roped in, I mean honored, next. Buy this book, buy the whole series. And while you're at it, buy the Liv books too.
I love all of the books in this series and they are timeless in their appeal. Sophia is at the center of several adventures and it always amazes me that she can get it all done. Lee is in on an adventure and as usual, she kept me in stitches. Just as in real life, Sophia's adventures are always linked in some way and many times, Lunis has to be left behind. Strange things are happening back at the castle that the guys try to handle but Sophia is a born leader and they are finally starting to trust her leadership. Now, if Evan would just straighten up all the time instead of when they really need him. Love all these characters and their crazy adventures.
Another great ending to this story arc and the best arc i think is yet to arrive hopefully with new awesome characters. Again this book explores a lof of the romanticism without being too in your face with it and is actually quite light hearted as we see other sides to some of the characters we have got to know. Well enjoyed and recommended
Could not ask for a better story. So much happening in this story with Sophie that she has to find answers to that takes her on one adventure after another. But this one also spreads the glory around to others and there are some surprising hints. So pick up your copy today to find the surprises!!!!
Such a fun fantasy series, not overly dramatic but still tense situations with great, well developed characters. Lee the assassin baker is rapidly turning into one of my favorite characters ever.
We see Sophia solving very different problems, some of them bigger than others. Another amazing story in the series, and how Sarah comes up with so many bad jokes is a mystery! Laughter, tears, grave situations, and beautiful loyalty all feature in abundance. I’m keenly looking forward to seeing what Sophia and friends get up to next.
An exceptional book by an amazing author. The humor had me rofl several times. I'm anxiously awaiting book ten. Thanks for an entertaining read , Ms. Noffke.
This one is very political but still enjoyable. You have an angry magician that wants to get rid of the dragon elite and he does this by trying to discredit the dragon elite. Rudolph gets kidnapped but stays where he is to gather intelligence. We have Sophia running around like usual with mini quests while she tries to solve the bigger issue. This one is sad in the end poor Lunis.
I know, I’m crazy. A lot of people would say there’s no such thing! But for me apparently I’ve hit my limit. It took me a loooong time to finish this book. I just got bored with everything going on. ‘Just another Tuesday’ sure is exciting, but can’t we have a rest day for these poor dragon riders? Like, what does Trin do during the day? How’s it going with getting along with the castle? What does Evan or Quiet or the dragons do all day? Does all Hiker do is bark? What if his guilty pleasure is cinnamon tea and manga? Or can we go to a different Beaufont and find out what the brother does? He’s become less and less talked about that I’ve even forgotten his name. What about Plato? I’d like a book about his antics and the people he plays tricks on. Or the brownies. Or the new librarian!! Sorry, but with everything going on in the world and being married to a soldier, I guess I’m a little over anything to do with war. ‘War. War never changes.’
On the plus side, I’m a BIG supporter of the Liv and Lunis jokes. Even Rufus. I don’t understand why everyone gets annoyed with them. I tell them to my family and we get some giggles.
Still trying to understand why i like this series. I definitely love the snark, the offbeat characters like Lee the assassin bakers with the horrible jokes that kinda parallel Lunis, the story of Ainsley and Hiker, the interaction of the Dragon riders, the Beaufont family, etc.
Maybe i just answered my own question, she writes a story which parallels many of the things which interest me. Simply put, I want to see how this whole thing finishes, and I invite you on the same ( or similar) journey.
This is a spin off series from the "Unstoppable LIV Beaufont"..which is a great series. The story is about Sophia Beaufont (LIV's little sis) and about her being the 1st dragon rider in 100 years and 1st female rider EvER & all of her and her dragons challenges and adventures and love..ect. I love the characters and personalities in this series and its funny. I also really enjoy how author pulls in characters from Sister LiV story. Mrs.C 💋
As I have said before you have given to all of us another great story. For that Thank You. You have shown to us what is important and needed in this World, Love can conquer time. Now I look forward to read more stories about the People in Your books and maybe show us what is more in this World. Again Thank You.
There is nothing like a Sarah Noffke book. You just fall in love with the characters and the adventure. This is another great book in the story of Sophia Beaufont and the Dragon Elite. Do your self a favor - start at book one and just keep going! Enjoy the ride!
Once again Sarah and Michael knocked it out of the park. The development of all the characters is so much fun to read and at times very surprising. I guarantee you won't be disappointed spending your time with this book or this series.
