At first I was thrown off and sorta annoyed about a new MC with a whole new cast of characters to get to know and basically put Arc on the back burner. It grew on me once I kept reading and seeing how different and similar Retta’s story is to Arcs. This volume gives this series even more game of thrones vibes and now honestly I wouldn’t even mind another set of interesting characters because they happen to be pretty well written overall. I love how dark the themes can get but then changes to very intimate, sexy, scenes within this dark world. Can’t wait to see what Retta’s story will look like!

This volume had a little less sex and a little more story, which i prefer. I hope we are moving toward an ending.

Alors ...
C'est étrange et j'ai été un peu perdue. Surtout par rapport aux autres où je ne me souviens plus trop de l'histoire. C'est pas exceptionnel. Je vais certainement lire encore un autre tome, mais je doute que je finirais la série.

Not as good as the last one. But some curveball was thrown at Raito, and now he must decide some important stuff. But, that would happen perhaps in the next volume.

New character Retta is given powers similar to Arc by a demon (Olga) who seems to be in competition with Lati. Not sure where this will go.
