Potions & Politics Don't Mix! Sometimes, you just can't help yourself. And if that means showing up kingdom after kingdom of nobles, well, it's even better! Or so Kaoru thinks, as she establishes herself as a divine messenger. But as word of her potions and abilities spread, so too does the threat of war and external involvement. As old faces return for another piece of the action and new threats emerge across the continent, can the Eyes of the Goddess keep their benefactor safe from harm?
I Shall Survive Using Potions! is a manga series written by FUNA and illustrated by Hibiki Kokonoe. The story revolves around Kaoru Nagase, who dies in a mysterious phenomenon and is reincarnated into a different world. She demands the power to create potions at any time she pleases, with whatever effect she wants it to have, and the ability to understand and speak every language. Using her newfound powers, Kaoru has to try and make a stable life for herself in a whole new world.
In the third volume, Kaoru establishes herself as a divine messenger. But as word of her potions and abilities spread, so too does the threat of war and external involvement. As old faces return for another piece of the action and new threats emerge across the continent, can the Eyes of the Goddess keep their benefactor safe from harm?
"I Shall Survive Using Potions!" is a fun and entertaining manga series that is perfect for fans of fantasy and adventure. The story is well-written, and the characters are likable and engaging. The artwork is also excellent, with detailed and expressive illustrations that bring the story to life. Overall, highly recommended to anyone looking for a fun and exciting read.
I do like her style of hustle, but it also feels like a bit like it wouldn't be that hard to lead everyone around if you've got two good eyes and everyone else really needs glasses.
Kaoru shows off her powers once again, except this time she does it as flashily as possible so that everyone knows who she is. This will make it difficult for anyone to force her to do anything be they king, pope, or otherwise. Then she starts her potion business.
I'm not sure how exciting all this sounds, but the majority of it is told with lengthy discussions and exposition. Fairly boring when Kaoru keeps putting herself in these situations. Personally, I would've preferred some better drama about keeping her powers secret, but there's war on the horizon so maybe we'll see some.
