Sasaki can't get a break. Isn't it enough that he's a skeleton, and has to go to school anyway?

Notice (because I missed this at first) that the girl Spider is keeping an eye on is in Sasaki's class.

Butterfly and Owner’s first time meeting! And more glimpses into Owner and their past, such as how they once desired to know what they look like.

Not really scary but I still want more. Is it just me who expects scary ghost stories from a series like this? I'm still not completely satisfied in that respect even if the youkai appearing in here are pretty dark at times or dangerous.
Maybe I'm disappointed because this is for a younger demographic? But then I start to wonder why it is so philosophical at times.

Anyway, this is fun to read, I like the character dynamics for the most part and Owner is a neat character to read and see. I liked the lore that was put into this volume. I wouldn't mind if we got at least 10 more volumes of as long as the story and plot are still entertaining too.

I somehow simultaneously hope and don't hope the romance that looks like it is being set up develops further and gets a bigger part in the story. Guess I'll have to wait for the next volume to seee.

The art is always the first thing that I have to mention on this series it just draws you in. The second is that the story is just really beautiful and the more volumes that come out the deeper the characters get and I find myself becoming attached to them and wanting to learn more.

Tiny tidbits of Owner lore, though the random flashbacks interspersed between present day plot gives me whiplash. I'm so intrigued by what Owner's true motivation for running an inn might be. And whatever's going on now with Butterfly is interesting, too.

I loved this volume. We got more history on the Inn and the characters themselves. And we see more from our hunter as well. This is a great series and this volume is no exception!
