Gabby and Mia have been friends since third grade, so when Mia asked Gabby to be her boyfriends temporary secretary and find out if he is cheating o her, she can’t say no. She had no idea until she walked in the tour what was in store for her. A hunkalicious male who gets her motor running. I foresee some fun dialogue, humorous moments, and love, love love…except for…

She feels so guilty about her attraction to the gorgeous man in front of her, and all the sex vibes she is feeling. Does he feel the same way? And what can possibly become of them?

I loved Gabby right off the bat. She has a potty mouth and an ability to say what she thinks and get away with it. I love how Gabby dealt with him, and I can’t help but laugh at Champ’s reactions to her.

I immediately settled in for a fun romance and I am happy to say, there is no cheating involved…at least not on Gabby’s part.

I read The Wrong Brother in one sitting. It is an easy and entertaining read, filled with the sweet romance, a lot of smiles and laughs, and realistic characters that I have come to expect from Amanda Siegrist, and, of course, a happy ever after.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of The Wrong Brother by Amanda Siegrist.

How far would you go for your best friend? Gabby got herself hired at Mia’s boyfriend’s company as his secretary to find out once and for all if he was the cheating maggot Mia thought he was. Little did Gabby know the man was sex-on-a-stick, even with his prickly attitude, but she was a woman on a mission for Mia…

Oh what fun! Amanda Siegrist’s THE WRONG BROTHER starts out quirky and fun, because everything fun until one’s heart gets involved and this becomes a whole new ballgame. Gabby is “that” friend everyone needs at some point in their lives. Feisty, funny, and mouthy, her investigation uncovers more than she could have ever bargained for…but how is she going to tell Mia?

I absolutely loved the change in atmosphere as the book progressed. It was really more like real life than many would care to admit because it's all fun until the angst and insecurity starts, right? Amanda Siegrist is the Happy Ending Queen and once again, she pulls off another heart-fluttering, fun romance with her signature flair.

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Amanda Siegrist! This is my honest and voluntary review.

When I found out about this book, I really was intrigued by it. By its title, by the blurb. It seems interesting. And it was till 30%. If it would stopped there it would have been a pretty good romance. Because till that 30% the story is hillarous, entertaining, catch your interest. It seems to go in the right direction. Tg main characters has a pretty funny and sassy to push and pull. And also a deep sexual attraction. And it really got me. I liked it. But after that 30% it suddenly changed. It slows down, loose "points". Now I won't call it trash, but it's like it would be a different story, a shadow of the first part. Maybe because the main goal of the story is givin away? Idk exactly, but after that I felt different about it.
The characters? Gabs, the heroine. Oh I liked her at first sight. For her sassy mouth, confidence, atitude, EVERYTHING. After that 30% she changed.
The hero? At the beginning he's all bossy, cocky, attractive, workaholic, forbidden, tempting. After the whole point is givin away he loose his charm, little by little.
Now, the thing that really "affect" this story? The 3rd person narration. It always have me the sensation of the author being detached from the story. Distant. Idk it like she feels a story with getting ready involved.
But that's a person technical opinion.

4 star Review The Wrong Brother by Amanda Siegrist

Amanda Siegrist is a new author to me and I have no idea how I have nit come across her work before now. This was a well written and entertaining story that grabbed and held my attention form the first to the last chapter.

I really loved Gabby, what a loyal friend who would do anything to support her best friend Mia. This was a humorous read which starts off with a case of mistaken identity when Mia asks Gabby to go undercover to see if her boyfriend is cheating on her. Unbeknownst to Gabby there are two Mr. Holloways, and even worse she is immediately attracted to him. Thankfully she finds out that her new boss is Dane Holloway who is not Mia’s boyfriend.

It took me a while to warm up to Dane but once I did I fell for his rather abrupt disposition. Together he and Gabby make a great team if only he wasn’t such a workaholic. There was some angst, humour and fun and quirky characters that made this an entertaining read.

This is a new to me author. This had a fun premise, unique cast of characters, heck alot of chemistry between Gabrielle and Dane(the wrong brother). Gabby will do anything for her best friend. So, she's set to go spy on her bff's boyfriend, working for him. But, little does she know, she's been working for the wrong brother. Dane and Gabby have this unique connection, but while she thinks its her best friends boyfriend, she doesn't understand the confusion, because he's acting like he's single. But again, wrong brother, all of it a mistake from the getgo.

This was a cute story. It took me awhile to get into it because it was in 3rd person but once I did, it was fine. Dane just can't figure this girl out, but once he does, he falls completely head over heels. She is not like anyone he's ever met, shes quite independent, a detective and completely opposite of him. But these two have that special pull towards each other and they do get to their happy ever after.

This book started as fun flirty and turned into serious and complicated so fast; so fast that I didn't even realize it. The book was opened with some familiar instalove scenes and then BAM! reality happened. It was like seeing instalove met reality. All the pull-and-push that might happen in a new relationship from mashing the friends and family into the relationship up to the difficulty to compromise with your partner despite the physical attraction. The book seemed eager to show us how instalove might or might not work in the real world. I wasn't expecting the change so quickly; the stark contrast between the beginning of the book, the middle, and the end.

For an instalove readers like me, this type of book was a good change of scenery, though sometimes I wonder that the book had too much angst and baggage for the MCs. The issue that the H and h dealt both as a couple or individual was a lot; like the reason why the h willing to do anything for her BFF or the fact that the H's family had a crazy dynamic on their own.

No virgin
Condoms
(not so) instalove
No OW/OM. No cheating
HEA. Safe read
Overall score: 3 complicated stars

4.5 Stars for The Wrong Brother (Perfect for You #1)
This is the first book I have read by Amanda Siegrist but it certainly won’t be the last because I loved this well written, entertaining read.
Gabby and Mia are best friends so when Mia suspected her boyfriend of cheating on her Gabby didn’t hesitate to go undercover to check the facts out, what Mia forgot to say was there are two Mr Holloway’s and yep Gabby ended up with the wrong brother. Problem is she is attracted to the man she believes to be her best friends boyfriend.....
It’s not to far into the story she realises Dane Holloway’s is not Mia’s boyfriend so all bets are off....
This is an entertaining, witty read that left me smiling like a Cheshire Cat, I smiled, I swooned and I found myself wishing that this quirky couple got the HEA they so deserved. I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to book 2 in the series. If you are looking for a book with the perfect mix of love, passion and humour with adorable quirky characters this is the book for you.

This was an entertaining Romantic Comedy, but also was so much more than that. It was humorous but also had some very serious feels in it. I adored the characters, Gabby is the type of friend that every lady wishes she could have, totally a ride or die! And Dane is definitely a main man to get behind! There was definitely some drama thrown into the mix and it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but the overall story was entertaining and I liked reading it!

All in all if you are looking for a book that will keep you on your toes and is not your regular ROMCOM, then this will be your jam. I give it 4 outta 5 stars and do recommend it if that is what you are looking for!

PS: Thank you to Amanda Siegrist and Give Me Books PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Gabbi is the kind of the friend that anyone would be lucky to have in their life. Not many people would be willing to take time away from their job as a Detective and agree to work for their friend’s boyfriend to ensure that they are being faithful however the one thing she hadn’t counted on was being attracted to her boss.

Dane is focused on ensuring the success of the family business and doesn’t have time for much else. He may come across as cold and demanding but there is a lot more to the man than first appears. He is attracted to his employee but being with her would break every rule he has.

This is a humorous case of mistaken identity as two people who meet under the most unlikely of circumstances couldn’t have been a better match. She is a feisty and fun which is exactly what Dane needs in his life.

I liked this office romance by Amanda Siegrist. Gabby and Mia are best friends who share a strong bond. Mia asks Gabby to do her a favor and get hired as her boyfriend's secretary to see if he's cheating on Mia. Gabby applies for the position while on vacation as a detective and gets hired, but feels an instant connection with her new boss. Throughout the course of the book its revealed she was hired and is working for his brother Dane. Dane is a workaholic who desperately needs help from his assistant but is also fighting his attraction to Gabby. Gabby is a firecracker that is feisty which makes for humorous interactions with Dane as they try to meet in the middle. I loved that they had such a strong connection and the plot moved beyond the office setting. This book had a good mixture of wit, angst and emotions. I thought this book was enjoyable

Hmm, can’t say I have much to say about this book. I can say this though. To me, Gabby did have a knack for pushing Dane away for no particular reason. I felt like it was okay for him to walk away too. Because after a while you gone get tired of someone you care about keep pushing you away.

I was glad that he finally told her not and how he loved her so she could get it through her brain that he wanted more with her. Even though they were in a serious relationship. It just when things get hard she liked to push the people that cared about her way. Which was ridiculous I felt like she needed to be happy too. Because she always there for her best friend Mia.

I too like Dane felt like Mia needed to hear what he had to say when it came to Gabby. Plus Gab was there for Mia more than Mia was there for Gabby.

To top that off Mia is pushing Jaxson away for no reason. I can tell that Mia likes those horrible men that do her wrong. Rather than the good men that would treat her right. Look who she chose “Champ” who dog her out, and she wanted to get back with him. But don’t want to try anything with Jaxson.

I can’t wait to read Mia and Jaxson's story next. I already know it’s going to be an interesting one. But I’m just glad that Dane and Gabby worked things out between each other. Plus Dane finally went ahead and got himself his own business instead of keeping working for his father and brother who thought he was worthless.

3.5 STARS REVIEW

Adult, Contemporary, Romantic Comedy, Office Romance

Third Person

This is book #1 of the Perfect for You series, but can be read as a standalone.

Fun entertainment!!!

I have to say the title of the book hooked me. When I say that title, I knew I needed to read it.

I also have to say that I've enjoyed this story, but I would have liked more, if the plot that is mentioned in the blurb wouldn't have been finished so early in the book.

This book started as a romantic comedy, but took a turn about 30 or 35% or the book and it just became contemporary romance.

I guess I loved the concept of the book, but I got lost a few times with the turn it took.

Good romance!

25.5/35 STARS –  3.5 STARS (between 24.5 stars and 27.5 stars)

Addictiveness: 4 Character: 3 Cover: 4 Freshness: 3.5 Plot: 3.5 Romance: 4 Writing Style: 3.5

Action 2/5 Angst 2/5 Darkness 1/5 Humor 3.5/5 Romance 5/5 Suspense/Mystery 0/5

Would I recommend? Yeah, for readers of Contemporary Romance.

Would I re-read this book/series? I don't know.

Would I read more from the author? Yes, I will be on the look out for the second book.

Addictiveness: 4/5 The concept of the story was very catchy and the characters were easy to like that the reader became invested in the outcome. As addictive as pizza!!!

Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 4/5, subtitle 5/5, background 3/5 buy 4/5  I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This cover was ok. I didn't love the art ok, it feels a bit too sweet, but the title is fire and the subtitles add sparkles to it. I would maybe buy this book by its cover, mainly because of the title, but probably would need to read the blurb.

Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 4/5, development 4/5, steam 4/5 Really good love story. I really believed their chemistry from the beginning, their dialogues were fun and the smut was pretty good.

Writing Style: 3.5/5 Easy to like characters, good plot concept, great romance, good smut in a clean, cohesive writing. Good writing!!!

Because I try to be very analytical and I don't really believe in perfection...

Character: hero 3/5, heroine 3/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 4/5, real 5/5 Good characters that were easy to like and connect.

Gabby was a good heroine. She was a good friend, a good employee and a good girl friend. I only wished she had stayed more fun, as she was on the beginning. She annoyed me a bit with all the insecurities. Some of them felt like a bit too much.

Dane was an ok hero. He needed a bit more of a back bone. He was a bit of a pushover and annoyed me sometimes.

Secondary characters In a sea of piranhas, there was no clown fish. They were all bad, but some were easy to love and connect. Ax was definitely my favorite.

Villain/antagonists In a book filled with antiheroes and dubious characters, I have to say most characters felt like antagonist for a few chapters. I guess there was one that stood out as a villain, but with some many secrets, we only figure it out at the end.

They were all about tough love, but lovable and somehow connectable!!!

Freshness: 3.5/5 Ms. Huss did it. She made bully romance seems fresh. It was a bit different from most out there. They way that everything kept switching, the archaic idea of boys and girls. It felt original. One-of-a-kind! As fresh as mint tea when you are dealing with a bad cold!

Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 3.5/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 4/5, opening 5/5, pace 3/5, setting 4/5, subplots 4/5, twists 3/5  Amazing opening with a good ending. Ok plot, with well written dialogues and regular pace. Great setting, interesting subplots with underwhelming twists. Good level of enjoyment!

I've loved the plot concept. I really loved the idea of the wrong brother and I was disappointed when this wasn't the main focus of the plot. It was solved too early for me.

You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you like contemporary romance; you MUST read this because it is good entertainment!!!

This isn’t your typical RomCom as it’s a little angsty in the middle but I enjoyed every word.
It starts off with an undercover assignment to catch a cheating partner for Gabs bestie, Mia. Let’s just say it doesn’t go to plan but it does lead to a romance between Gabs and the wrong brother, Dane. It’s not a smooth road because his brother and father are douches but no road to happily ever after is.
I’d like to see a story for Mia and Jaxson

I loved the idea of this story. The beginning was hysterical and the characters lovable. My emotions were all over the place with this one. One second I was laughing, the next I was frustrated with the characters, and the next I felt the electricity between them. If you like that kind of mix like I do, then this book is for you. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved that Gabby was such a great friend. She loved her friends and would do anything for them. It took me a bit to grow to like Dane. He was initially rude and demanding, but Gabby immediately put him in his place. After that, I kinda liked his gruff attitude and the banter between him and Gabby. They balanced each other well. Could Gabby continue to balance Dane, or would his workaholic tendencies be too much for her to compete with? I hope there will be a book for Mia.

The Wrong Brother is a rather entertaining story! The author is new to me and this book is about Gabby and Dane.
What starts out as mistaken identity develops into an interesting friendship but entails jealousy but also some good banter!
The book didn’t have my attention from the start and I didn’t like the way Danes family is. I could understand how Dane is the way he is though.
I initially thought Gabby had a different job as it wasn’t clear in the beginning and I struggled a bit to really connect with the characters!
It was a good read though.

This was a solidly crafted romance, but it was not what I was expecting going in. It started out as a very strong rom-com, transitioned to a bit angsty, and wrapped up. So I would say my main "complaint" about this book is that it seemed a little inconsistent in terms of what it wanted to be, but it was still a very good, very enjoyable read overall. I will read more from Amanda Siegrist, now that I know what to expect.

This is a mistaken-identity romance, where Mia thinks she's working for the cheating boyfriend of her friend, but instead takes a job with his brother. And boy, oh boy, is he a bossy, arrogant guy. Well, he is to start. We know how this romance trope goes, and this novel is true-to-trope.

Again, enjoyable, but don't go in expecting nothing but comedy and romance.

Was excited at first, kinda disappointed at the end. The 3rd person narration was too much for me. The overuse of "he said, she said" was annoying. They do have names, and if it's a scene with more people it shouldn't be he or she.
The story had a great beginning and i kept going but it kinda got a fast forward timeline in the middle of the book and i lost interest but i finished it. The ending could be better. I loved the idea...

DNF
The MCs did a 360 degree after 20% or so.I was totally bewildered.
Both had really strange expectations from each other just after a night of sex as if the other party would become their ideal partner and then they got angry when the other person refused to do so.
The heroine's profession was really questionable. I had a hard time swallowing it.

Oh, I love a good mistaken-identify workplace undercover favor-for-a-friend romance!! The Wrong Brother just has so many fun elements that make it on the edge of romcom, especially the first 1/3 of the story, enough that it’s funny and sweet and will definitely make you laugh, but doesn’t have the zany hijinks throughout of some. This was a fun book to read. I like to switch it up sometimes, and it seems that for most of the summer I have been reading a LOT of deep, dark, bully, academy, suspenseful reads, and I am here for the lighter books that have been popping up lately! I am definitely still reading all of those others too, but this change in tone was just what I needed right now.

Gabby is the best friend we all want and need, and does a favor for her bestie Mia – offers herself up to be hired by Mia’s boyfriend to figure out if he may be cheating on Mia. Gabby gets hired by Mr. Holloway, and quickly discovers that this man is NOT Mia’s true love – but of course, she was hired by and is getting to know Dane Holloway, not Champ Holloway! The heat between Gabby and Dane is explosive and fun, and has you turning the pages to find out what might happen next!

After the truth comes to light, the tone of this book changes a lot – Dane goes from the assertive, cocky, alpha boss to an insecure, wishy-washy potential boyfriend. At times it was almost too much of a change, and didn’t feel like it was actually his real personality either. Gabby stayed her delightful self for the most part, which definitely helped things along.

If I were rating this book on the first 1/3 or so, this would be a solid 5 stars. I appreciate that Amanda Siegrist is trying to change up her writing style and characters a little bit, but some parts just didn’t work out for me – but it may be just a personality conflict for me and the characters, not the writing itself – and that can be hard to separate! It was never enough for me to consider relegating this to my DNF pile, but I wavered between loving and just sort of trudging along at times.

I am giving The Wrong Brother 3.75 stars, so it’ll be 4 stars in the places where I need whole numbers! I would recommend this as a lighthearted and quick read, and the tone change mid-way may not even stand out to you like it did for me. I am marking this one as something to definitely give another try later, and see if my feelings have changed.

I received an ARC of The Wrong Brother from a promotional copy in exchange for an honest review.

I honestly love looking at the covers that Amanda Siegrist has for her books, they always seem to stand out and pop at you. I’ve been meaning to try her work for a while, but now that I have, I’m honestly impressed and wished that I would have started reading her work sooner.
When I was reading through, I got the feel it wasn’t a traditional angst read that you’d normally read about, but to me that worked because it just goes to show that the authors who don’t have their names publicly known are so talented and that they deserve the limelight because they can write just as anyone else can. I was gripped from the first page and had no idea what was going to happen within the story, but Amanda made it well worth my while, I thought that Gabby was a strong character as she seems to go through a lot on a daily basis due to the job that she does, but still, I’m in awe of her because she would go out of her way to help her best friend Mia.
I also thought Dane was an intriguing character as whilst he is this macho guy who doesn’t reveal much to anyone, he found himself wanting to open up towards Gabby, but it’s clear that you see him grow throughout the story.
One thing I will say is that I’m not a fan of stories written in the third POV, but still no matter what if it’s a new author or even one I follow regularly I will always go ahead and give it a try… And honestly, Amanda impressed me with her writing and the way she wove all the words together.
After giving this one a try, I’m super excited to see what she else she’s written because she’s managed to get me hooked on her writing from the very first page.

Gabby has been best friends with Mia for so long it’s hard to think back to when their friendship started, but that being said, she would do anything for her. So when Mia suggests the idea of going undercover at her boyfriend’s work, Gabby can’t believe what she’s hearing. The last thing she wants to do on her week off is go back into work for a week just to see if Mia’s boyfriend is cheating on her, but as always Gabby knows that she won’t be able to say no.
Getting ready to go undercover, Gabby is determined to see if Mia is right about her suspicions, but when Gabby meets him she knows for a fact that the guy screams sex appeal… However, after getting to know him, she can’t see him cheating on Mia…
Just as Gabby’s about to report back to her, she ends up finding the poof she needed… but when it becomes apparent she’s been investigating the wrong brother all week, what will happen??? Will Dane give Gabby a chance to explain???

Gabby is one of the best friends you can have, when she goes undercover to check if your boyfriend is an cheater, than she definitely is an keeper as an bestie 💕

I loved the bantering, the storyline and the characters and that Dane isn’t keeping quiet about what he thinks 🙌🏻.
My notes 📝;
Main characters Gabby, Dane, Mia & Jason.
Gabby helps Mia out, love can work in mysterious ways, omg that scene when she finds out that she is working for the wrong brother... Jason the trouble maker 😬.

For once, I am totally speechless. The Wrong Brother has left me with no words on how to review it. Which is very odd for me.

The Wrong Brother is not only romance, boy is there ever, but humor mixed with angst. Angst usually is not my thing but there were only hints of it within the book that made it all that much better honestly.

Dane and Gabriella meet under the wrong pretenses while she is doing a favor for her best friend, Mia. What neither of them realized was that they would find something else along the way. Or will they?

Dane and Gabby both have issues they need to resolve and due to those issues they let it bleed into their relationship more than they should. It kind of makes drama that could have been avoided if they had dealt with it sooner but honestly, who does not love drama within romance? You want the guy to fight for the girl or vice versa. I know I do.

Amanda Siegrist has delivered a creation about two people trying to find their way within themselves. Both workaholics, one more than the other, and one with a family that is for the books. Overall, I think TWB is worth the one click because Dane and Gabby are the BOMB!

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I absolutely loved this story. It starts with Gabby agreeing to go undercover to find out if Mia's boyfriend is a cheat. She actually is a cop and pretends to be a secretary to get the dirt on Mia's friend.

She gets hired but she only knows that she works for a Mr and doesn't learn his first name for a while. Meanwhile she starts falling into lust with her boss. A very bad thing to feel for her friends boyfriend...That is until she finds out their are brothers and thats when this book becomes so much fun.

One thing I found strange was that she never finds out her bosses first name. usually you type up memos and sign a first and last name. So for me that was something that stuck out. But the boss/brother/cheat only is the first 30 percent of the book. The book then has them get to know each other as non boss but two people very attracted to each other and also their is a heavy storyline of why Mia and Gabby are so loyal to each other.

Awesome story from a new author I have never read before.

Well...Gabby may have gotten the The Wrong Brother in her original mission, but it was the best mistake she ever made!
The objective Gabby is tasked with is to find out if her BFF Mia's new boyfriend is cheating on her. How is she supposed to do that?? Simply by posing as his new temporary secretary for the week undercover. The complication with this plan occurs when Gabby finds herself immediately attracted to her new boss! Unknown to Gabby..there are two Mr. Holloway's and she has been working for The Wrong Brother..not her intended target Champ, but his brother Dane!
I found this story very entertaining and humorous!
Gabriella is charming, loyal, and with a bit of a potty mouth. Dane is a prickly, arrogant, workaholic and it's fun to watch how by being with Gabby brings out more fun and openness to his character. This book is fun, quirky, and a completely enjoyable read! I would definitely like to see a future book with Jaxson and Mia!

My first read of Amanda Siegrist and I'm not disappointed!

~Gabby and Dane's story~

Mia is Gabby's best friend. Gabby would literally do anything for her, including going undercover to prove whether Mia's new boyfriend cheats on her or not.
So, albeit begrudgingly, Gabby goes and applies for a secretary position in Champ Holloway's office.
What she doesn't know is that she works for the wrong brother.

Gabby is not like other women, she stands up for herself, she is very outspoken, it is a refreshing scene for Dane.
Dane is your typical boss: works too much, cold, sometimes abrupt and he doesn't really pay attention to people around him.
Gabby teaches him to let go, to take a refreshing breath for a minute, to take a rest.
While Dane teaches her that it's okay to want to depend on others.
They completed each other.

This is such a fun read for me... I dive into the book with an open mind and the story is really well-plotted, I enjoy reading it.

When Gabby’s best friend Mia begs her to apply for her boyfriend’s secretary position, she agrees but doesn’t think it’s a good idea. But if Mia thinks Champ is cheating on her, Gabby will make it her mission to find out. When she is hired she can’t help but be attracted to the hot but rude workaholic, feeling all kinds of guilt for liking her best friend’s boyfriend. Until she finds out she’s been working for the wrong brother. For once in her life she’s left speechless and doesn’t know how to face him.

Dane works long hours and the last thing he needs is the sassy, takes no BS new secretary he just hired. Not only is she driving him crazy when she puts him in his place but he can’t stop thinking about her. Not until he finds out about her real intentions for applying. How can he trust her when she’s deceived him?

Gabby and Dane are fantastic together. She makes him see there’s life outside of the office and that he needs to put himself first over his selfish family. He hates liars and Gabby has a hard time believing he’s forgiven her, which causes some hiccups and misunderstandings along the way. A great first book to a new series!

I was super excited for this book when I read the synopsis! As I began reading, it took a bit for me to get into the groove of how this author writes & her story telling. As I was getting used to the way the author writes, I found myself intrigued on where this story was going to go. The Holloway family dynamics was a odd twist I wasn’t expecting, but while reading I kept wondering how these people could act like this to each other. I wanted to shake this family silly. Gabby & Mia’s relationship has been through so much that Gabby is extremely protective of her. When Gabby & Dane meet the slow burn chemistry is something of a smolder bc Gabby thinks he is Mia’s boyfriend. When the truth comes out the way Dane & Gabby are from one extreme to another got old really quickly. I understand a bit of indecision, but seriously these two made me wonder how they were adults. This book was a good read, but had me questioning things a time or 2.

I recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
