Magic and Mayhem #8

Your Broom or Mine?

Rate this book
What’s a Tree Sprite to do when she’s stumped?
Get to the root of the problem, of course.

Only I wood get stuck in a tree with the Warlock I love camped out next to it mea-culpa-ing for being a turdwaffle for the last decade.
What should I do about it?
Umm… stay in the tree and enjoy the show.

Location: Assjacket, West Virginia (Who in their right mind named this town?)
Mission: Get out of the tree and dropkick the Warlock who forgot to mention he was in love with me until I was stuck in a tree.
Obstacles: Just about everything… crazy foul mouthed witches, accident-prone shifters and a musical production of Jaws.
The Problem: A vicious Slug shifter who will do anything to ruin my future.
The Solution: With a little luck, a whole bunch of salt, a pinch of magic and the help of my certifiable new buddies, I might just survive long enough to put down some new roots.

And if the journey in the woods gets too crazy? Not a problem. I’ll just branch out and take the psycho-path.

Another absolutely hilarious read. We get to see lots of old and familiar friends and meet some new ones. Sassy and her language abilities had me rolling with laughter. If course, there has to be some danger, which comes in the form of slug shifters. This is an absolute must read in the series.

Your Broom Or Mine? Left my laughing like a 12 year old at all the puns. Who doesn't love visiting with Zelda and the gang? Willow and Zach are an awesome addition to the couples we have met along way. Robyn's books always bring a smile to my face and feeds my romantic soul.

Very sa-tree-sfying

The latest Magic & Mayhem book did not disappoint. Lots of hilari-tree, lots of out-of-the-bush emotion, it does leave us pine-ing for what will come next for everyone.

May I ask for lots and lots more of Zorro, please? I love him so much!

Robyn Peterman never disappoints. I didn't know that tree jokes could be so absolutely hysterical. It's a fabulous continuation of the Magic and Mayhem series. There's romance, friendships, family, magic, shenanigans, and lots of laughs!

This is the next book in the magic and mayhem series. It can be read as a stand alone though. Welcome back to Assjacket West Virginia! Yes, you read that correctly! In this installment of all things mystical and weird you get to see how the story of Willow (a dryad) and Zach a warlock unfold. Throw in a fainting goat shifter set on preforming Jaws the musical in chaps, Zelda the shifter whisperer (or shifter wanker as she prefers who is also Zach's sister), their father, 3 slightly less intelligent cat familiars and a whole adoptive tree family and you're going to have nothing short of a spectacularly hilarious mess. All this while Willow is on a treck to find her balls. I highly recommend this book because you will laugh from the very first page to the end as well as pick up a couple new sayings and possibly a whole new language. When Robyn Peterman writes a book you can be guaranteed it will make even your bad days happy. Will Zach and Willow be able to get their crap together in order to have their happily ever after? Will Zach and his dad mend their relationship? You need to read to find out!!! You will laugh till you pee. no joke! I for one cannot wait to see what happens next!

I have to admit that I have not read the other books in this series so I read this as a stand alone book. Which isn’t an issue because Robyn makes it so that all her books are good as stand alone books or as part of the series.

Welcome to Assjacket, West Virginia! I was unsure about reading this as I was coming into the series in the middle and so was concerned I’d be lost and confused but I wasn’t. It does jump right in but that’s fine I prefer books like that. This is a hilarious adventure of watching someone learn to love themselves. There’s lots of mishaps and of course can’t leave out the hot pink assless chaps! This book will keep you entertained and laughing from start to finish. Worth the money to purchase. Now I just need to read the rest of the series! Enjoy!! I certainly did.

Another winner by Robyn Peterman! It has all the components of mystery, action and romance along with all the humor! Zelda has a twin brother, Zach. Now the story behind it is very interesting but realize that Zach now has a father but there are complications in their relationship! I will say the relationship gets worked out in a very interesting way!
You meet a dryad name, Willow and an interesting character called Zorro. The bad guys are shifters bit unusual ones at that! You will learn a new language which makes the story funny as well as all the other shenanigans which occur. Sassy is up to her usual language crazy talk but the story has lots of funny language problems.
I must admit that you loved the book and look forward to another one in the series! There are surprises and the best one I never thought of is the involving Zelda’s cats and a mysterious backer! Read and enjoy this very interesting and humorous book!

Wow,wow, wow,Robyn has done it again with this hilarious read,Willow has been through hell, but thankfully Zelda gets involved and she's healed but she's afraid to enter the world as she thinks she's lost her balls lol,and the love of her life Zach but she couldn't be more wrong, this is where Willow's adventure begins,Zach is in love with Willow but doesn't think he's worthy as he's been through hell and back,he has his own journey to go through, through a few miscommunication they finally get together and take baby all with the help of Assjacket and it's residents, throw in a play named jaws and a baddie named Mae and your in for an hilarious time, you will see your pants laughing at all the shenigans,a brilliant array of quirky characters that you'll fall in love with,a brilliant storyline that keeps you hooked till the end and plenty of laugh out loud moments, can't wait to see what Robyn writes next♥️

Imagine yourself inside a tree for a month. Healing, trading really bad tree jokes loaded with tree puns with the trees. Welcome into the twisted but fun world of Robyn Peterman’s brain and lucky us, it often spills out into a book.
Willow the Dryad has recovered from her injuries and has finally emerged from her healer/tree-father to rejoin the world. Small problem, she thinks Zach, Zelda’s brother, doesn’t really love her. Add on top of that her quest for her lady balls (you have to read it to fully understand), a nut job musical, a masochistic director, Sassy and her 57 languages (kind of) and Zach and Zelda’s Fabdudio (you’ll find out). I read it from beginning to end without being able to put it down. It’s a wild Toad ride through Assjacket, WV and it’s merry and weird inhabitants. Buckle those safety harnasses and DON’T MISS IT!

Another ex-tree-mely hysterical visit to Assjacket, WV! Our favorite characters return in the Magic and Mayhem series, ready to kick some were-slug butt!

Willow is recovering in a tree named Sponge Bob, with her other tree friends lending their support. However, she needs to rejoin the world, and finally get over her crush on Zach. When she does emerge from the trees, she finds he’s loved her too – but he needs to love himself first.

Enter the crazy community theatre, Jaws the musical, a mean slug shifter determined to destroy the hopes and dreams of those around her, insane townspeople, and it’s just another day in Assjacket. To save the town and her friends, Willow needs to find her strength and her lady balls.

Robyn Peterman’s books are always good for a laugh and a great read!

Oh, Oh, Oh! Willow has a looong way to go to get Zach and her happy ending. All our friends from Assjacket, WV, are back with more quirky characters (yes, really, a slug) and tremendous laughs on the way. What's a dryad to do when she loses her balls and wants to find true love? Why, quest for them both at the same time, of course! Jump on this wild ride with Robyn Peterman as she once again comes up with a hysterical, keep-you-laughing-til-the-very-last-word story you'll wish you could read forever (or at least until you have abs of steel from giggling so hard). Hooray for this Book 8 in the Magic and Mayhem series. Love, love, love this one!

Wow!!! What a treemendous book( that’s puntreelish) I loved this. I listened to it on audio and the voices were awesome. This is the story picks up after the battle and Willow is in a tree recovering. Can Willow recover? Can She get over her love of Zack? Can Zack learn to love himself? Will Zorro really preform a play in pink chaps? This boom was suspenseful and hilarious!!! The narrator was so good now I HAVE to go listen to all the books in this series!! It made everything even more fun!!

The fact that I can totally understand Trees, chipmunks and omg Sassy is just hilarious! I was giggling from beginning to end and just a bit amazed at the many references to the manly bits lol. Love this town and all of the misfits within, though not sure of their job distribution. This HEA was one of the great ones of learning to love yourself first.

Tree-mendous!

Zelda, Sassy, Fabdudio and all your favorites are back. As usual, Robyn has written a book that had me laughing out loud many times. This story revolves around Willow, the dryad. She is in love with Zelda's twin. She has to find her balls and she is not sure where to look. Along with her story, we have a production of Zorro the Gay Blade that becomes JAWS the musical, being rehearsed in the Assjacket community center but the new director is a slug.....literally! Magic and Mayhem definitely fits. You will love every minute of it!

Never though a book could be so darn humorous when it involves trees as integral characters, not to mention it being set in Assjacket . Oh, did i forget to mention dryads and a quest for missing balls? Yes, fret no longer for all answers can be found within these pages as imagined by this one of kind author! Loved this immensely! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

This book has some wonderfully funny and lovable characters, from a dryad, fainting goat, shifters, witches, slugs and extreemly fabulous trees! I found out that some of the words and phrases I know are really Canadian? A feel good book full of mystery, love, growth, self-respect and fun. Expect the unexpected and prepare yourself for a wild ride.

This is my new favorite book in this series! It's funny, punny, I couldn't stop laughing or put it down. I learned a new language and think I may have to learn Canadian and British!
I adore Zorro and Fabio more each book. All of my favorite Assjacket citizens make an appearance. Watching the relationship build between Zach and Fabio, Zach and Willow and Zach and Zelda is fascinating fun. Willow's mood showing in her flower crown is a nice touch. Come to Assjacket and sit a spell! You won't want to leaf! Ex-tree-mely fun read!

Your Broom or Mine was a sarcastic delight fest. I loved all of the zings and zangs! Willow is resetting her life. Zack who has a lot to make up for and to show Willow how he feels. Their story is once again a fun and exciting ride through Assjacket.

This is part of the Magic and Mayhem series. We do get characters from the previous books. Yet is it Willow and Zack’s stand-alone story. The town, Zelda and overall tone is told in the previous stories. But this story can be enjoyed without first catching up on the first ones.

Hilarious

Welcome back to Assjacket. All of your favorites are still here, doing another totally inappropriate theater production. Joining them is Zelda’s twin brother, Zack, goat shifter Zorro, and dryad Willow.
But before the curtain goes up, they have to figure out what the new director is up to, who the secret investor is, and make sure that Zack forgives himself and realizes he’s lovable.
I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I can’t wait for more.

Can a sweet dryad help find her balls while helping her closest friends? Willow feels she has lost her last balls and needs to leave Assjacket and Zack behind . Her best friend Zorro is alive though and can she leave him behind too? This is a fast paced hilarious read with Jaws the musical, lots of tree puns, slug shifters, and love.

I won a copy from a contest run by the author herself! I stayed up way too late reading it in one sitting.
It's such a fun read! The dialogue is witty, snappy, fast, and so ex-tree-mly original, you will laugh out loud.
The story itself is heartwarming, and the book is well-written.
Take a bough (bow) Robyn!
