Reading Chuck Tingle for the first time has all the joy and singular peculiarity of viewing a Hieronymus Bosch painting. But instead of being full of strange carnivores, the fanciful creatures just want to 'prove love is real.' Except for the reverse twins and void crabs. Avoid the reverse twins and void crabs.

This was a fun read! I loved choose your own adventure books when I was a kid, so this was a great read.

This was my introduction to the Tingleverse, and it was definitely more tame than some of the other erotic stories Chuck has written, so it's recommended as a way to ease in to see if you like the genre. It's a refreshing change of style - at first I didn't understand what was happening in the story, but eventually I stopped questioning the sentient objects and unicorn security guard and void crabs and accepted it as if it were normal - that helped me enjoy it more, and I got a few of Chuck's tingler compilation books of short stories, which I've enjoyed too.

Chuck Tingle's first foray into gamebooks finds him already with a good command of the medium and undertaking interesting experiments with it without making the mistake of trying to run before he can walk in this unusual format, setting a high bar for the rest of his Select Your Own Timeline series. WOAH. Was not expecting this to be this fun. I don't think I've ever read a book like this where you can choose your own choices, and I had a damn fun time reading this one. It's got the perfect combination of that Chuck Tingle weirdness and a dash of his genius. Loved this! Can't wait to go back and reread it with different options, and I'm super excited to read the other Select Your Own Timeline Adventure books!

Enthralling (it's been a long time since I read a book in one sitting...) and creative, my only complaint, and the reason it lost a star, is because 1. a lot of it is copied and pasted between different timelines, and 2. there are a lot of typos, which are distracting. But otherwise, I quite enjoyed my first foray into the weird and wild Tingleverse.

If you’ve always wanted to read a Chuck Tingle book but don’t care for explicit content, this is the book for you. Classic Choose Your Own Adventure style with a story and characters that are all Tingle. I devoured it in 2 hours. I highly recommend it, buckaroos.

It’s Chuck Tingle. Gotta love it. The whole book is funny and creative. “Sexy unicorn” is just the beginning of the joy. Don’t forget not to remove your own hands, despite what Snow Channel Pete says, or else you’ll have trouble turning the pages!
