Nile grapples with her present, and with the potential of an eternal past. Andy welcomes a new-old enemy, and Nicky and Joe decide enough is e-goddamn-nough. Also: lots of bullets are used.
Greg Rucka, is an American comic book writer and novelist, known for his work on such comics as Action Comics, Batwoman: Detective Comics, and the miniseries Superman: World of New Krypton for DC Comics, and for novels such as his Queen & Country series.
"...There's no pain quite like a broken heart." Hot Damn!!! Rucka you beauty. So the movie was a combination of both the runs and it was made earlier so obviously, Greg wrote the story so he's a genius. We learn more about the history and the villain who is Noriko. Loved this issue, hell loving this series, keep them coming. Oh, the last issue coming up and then there would be an endless wait for the next part. This is torture. Imagine how must have Andy felt these 6700 years.
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.
(Guess who just decided to read all current issues of The Old Guard in one sitting? Oh yes, it's me)
Okay, now it's really getting good. Now, we see deeper themes in this story. They talk about immortality, the good and the bad of it, humanity, and our purpose in life, why we keep living, etc etc. It's such a poignant yet refreshing point of view here, and I love it. I also love how this issue highlights how a person can change in different ways: like Noriko and Copley. I'm excited for the last one!
The ending of Force Multiplied that is! This series is getting better and better. Great stories and characters. Tailored to adults. A twist on immortality. With a catch! How long till the 3rd arc? Less than a month till the Netflix movie!

This series has been so amazing. The Netflix series is what initially picked my interest (especially Charlize Theron), but the comics have been absolutely fantastic thus far—no wonder they wanted to adapt this gem! Please do not skip on this series or its sequels/prequels/spin-offs, it's wonderful and the art is to die for.
