This was a short quick read that I liked. Ezra is an Incubus, a sex demon who feeds on the passion of humans that he can compel to do his sexual bidding. That is until he meets Finn who has his own reasons for resisting the allure of the stranger. The sex scenes were hot and the book made me laugh. This was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

The wolfish grin that spread across Ezra’s face sent shivers up Finn’s spine. “Oh yes, little Finn, that’s exactly what you are. A delectable little morsel that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed hunting.”
Since Pied Piper takes place in the same universe as this series, I was already familiar with some of the characters. Probably it’s better to read this series first but it won’t spoil you that much if you read it in the same order as I did. Even though you can’t explode too much in a 132 pages book, this was a great introduction to the MCs and the dynamic of the different species.
Like I said before this is a short book but you can see glimpses of Ezra and Finn’s personalities. And how not everything is the way it’s pictured at the beginning. Finn’s naivety and Ezra’s manipulation is a match that will be interesting to read about. No need to say that this being a story where one of the MCs is an incubus, there are a lot of hot moments.
An incubus with no moral compass. A human unaware of his value. A quick introduction to this series where the characters are going to test the limits of good and bad.

This is the destiny of the naïve and pure student, Finn, who chasing his happiness entered his own hell.
Hilarious beginning, immense sexual tension, hot and funny characters and intense, cliffhanging ‘to be continued’ kept me hooked on this series. Flynn and Ezra are so different yet so interesting to look after. The promise of the dark and twisted plot leaves me to wish for more and to wait for the next book in the “Incubus” series.

Sex demons -including those of the incubus variety like Ezra Erotes- are always fun to read. I have a pretty big religious studies passion which often makes it hard for me to enjoy a book starring either demons or angels, but Emma Jaye created a world where it's a very straight-forward urban fantasy setting with no big muss or fuss about the lore of it all. I appreciated it being simply handed to me to accept the way one should in a fantasy.
Science fiction needs the science to make it good. Fantasy has magic which is all it needs and Emma Jaye delivers magic in Seduction (Incubus #1).
Finn made me laugh far too many times with his naivete; Ezra explaining the going rate for a street walker compared to his rate made me giggle hysterically. I hated Finn's stockbroker keeper so I was thrilled by the turn of events which took him out of the way. I completely accepted why Finn agreed to go with Ezra when someone else might have been cautious about jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
All in all, Seduction was a tantalizing start and I will read the next installments to see what happens with Ezra and Pixie and Finn. I have a feeling I'll get a lot of laughs from the series and who can't use more laughter these days?

Seduction brings together the beginning of an intriguing story and characters that are full of life, adding a large dollop of steamy m/m sex.
Ezra is an Incubus, a sex demon who feeds on the passion of humans that he can compel to do his sexual bidding. That is until he meets Finn, who has his own reasons for resisting the allure of the dark stranger. Soon Ezra discovers that Finn not only poses an interesting challenge, but that he is no ordinary human. What follows is a battle of wills and a discovery of self for a young, innocent Finn.
This short book is an excellent beginning to what is now a 5-part series. We are introduced to the wonderfully innocent, yet determined, Finn whose current boyfriend is not meeting his expectations. As many of us do, because he is in love, he looks to himself as the problem. He should not be thinking about the owner of the local sex shop.
I am not a big reader of the paranormal (Though that might change with this series!) and my perception of beings hundreds of years old is that they look and act a little old fashioned, based on the era in which they were born. Ezra, however, is a full on modern beast in what he wears, how he acts and how he speaks, including his, sometimes corny, innuendos. This is just as well, as it takes the edge off a character that can otherwise come off as insensitive to human choice. Also helping to redeem Ezra’s character is Finn’s housemate, Pixie, who introduces them.
All I can add is… be prepared to want to buy the second installment in this series the moment you have read the last page.

I truly enjoyed this erotic read. Not only was it a sexy read but the story behind it all is what drew me in and kept me. That is also what is going to make me come back for more when the next book comes out. Emma Jaye is an amazing author that always seems to suck me into her books. This one was no less in that matter. I cannot wait for Incubus Possession to come out now because I want to know what is going to happen next.
I really felt bad more then once in this book for Finn. Not only did his current boyfriend act as if Finn's needs was wrong but he is also hiding some very major secrets from him. But that is not all that Finn had to face in this book.
Finn has become a obsession to an Incubus named Ezra. Ezra knows that finn is something very special from the moment Finn walks into his sexy shop. But Finn does not act as if he is interested so of course this makes Ezra want him more. Ezra will go to many lengths to get what he wants including his powers on Finn to make him more vulnerable to what Ezra wants from him.
Can Finn out will Ezra or will he give in and go all in to see what Ezra has up His sleeve?
What I keep asking myself is what is going to happen next with Finn? Will Finn Fall in love with Ezra? Will Ezra fall in love with Finn even if it seems unlikely? Can this really work between them? I hope that all these questions and so many more will be answered in the next book in this series.

I need the next book now!!!! Poor Finn having such a loser for a boyfriend and I use the word boyfriend loosely. Never want to be seen with him, never really touching him and only using him for blowjobs, Charlie you were a grade A duche! So we have Finn, who is a virgin, wanting more out of his sex life running into Ezra. Ezra is one hot incubus who sells his services so he can feed. He wants Finn all to himself and with a little manipulation, he gets him. I'm not sure if he is going to like the offer he makes to Finn in the long run but I can't wait to see where this story goes.

Non è che un primo episodio di una serie più lunga, un racconto più che un romanzo, in cui due uomini, Ezra e Finn, entrano in scena, ci presentano le loro personalità e si avvicinano, mostrandoci l’interesse che provano uno per l’altro (opportunista il primo, spontaneo l’altro).
Quel ragazzo sarà anche stupendo, ma Finn non si sarebbe arreso per lui come aveva fatto per Charlie. I giochi di ruolo erano qualcosa che lo aveva sempre interessato, ma la malattia mentale era un’altra cosa.
Si tratta di un paranormal romance: Ezra è un incubus che ha più di un secolo di vita, un demone del sesso la cui particolarità è quella di cibarsi del desiderio altrui, e lo fa con poche regole morali.
Si approfitta della sua vittima plagiandola, alterandone la percezione del piacere e annullando rimorsi o dubbi.
“Sì, ma è difficile dirlo, capisci?” “Sì. Ma posso darti una mano. Guardami.” Non appena ubbidì, Finn si sentì stranamente rilassato, come se la sua mente si stesse prendendo una vacanza dalla realtà. “Mi stai aiutando adesso?” Ezra prese il suo viso tra le grandi mani, tenendo Finn fermo mentre lo guardava negli occhi. “Un po’. Ti dispiace?” Finn pressò la guancia nel palmo di Ezra. “No. Ero preoccupato prima. Ora non lo sono. È bello. Sei gentile.” Al dolce sorriso di Ezra, il calore si diffuse in lui. Accontentare Ezra lo faceva sentire bene.
Finn è un giovane laureando con una relazione insoddisfacente che continua a portare avanti perché ormai se ne sente soggiogato; il suo ragazzo controlla infatti ogni aspetto della sua vita, da quello sessuale a quello finanziario.
Grazie alla capacità manipolatoria e al magnetismo che il demone scatena su di lui, Finn lascia il compagno e si avvicina a Ezra per sperimentare la sua prima volta.
Per quanto il sesso sia estremamente soddisfacente tra i due, Ezra ha in mente un piano ben preciso per lui, ovvero di legarlo in modo definitivo a sé per potersene nutrire a vita. Allo stesso tempo, però, affinché Finn possa riempirsi di desiderio, deve fare in modo che il giovane si accompagni ad altre persone in modo continuativo (per questo motivo gli propone di instradarlo al mestiere di gigolò), prodigandosi però di tenerlo al sicuro, perché altri demoni potrebbero notare la sua aura particolare e prenderselo.
Lo fece. Finn non fece altro che aggrapparsi all’uomo che lo causava, l’uomo che soffocava il suo ululato con la bocca. Ezra continuò a lavorare sul corpo di Finn, estraendo spietatamente da lui ogni grammo di piacere, fino a quando cercò di spostarsi dalla stimolazione ora dolorosa.
I piani di Ezra sono ben chiari, ma in questo primo episodio rimane il dubbio molto forte sul fatto che Finn prenda decisioni con consapevolezza, in quanto il demone non ha una moralità molto pulita e dà molte spinte al suo subconscio. Finora il ragazzo, oltre a una splendida notte di sesso, non subisce nessun danno da queste forzature, dato che il suo ex era un totale idiota. In ogni caso ci troviamo di fronte a quello che potrebbe essere una scelta poco consenziente o annebbiata, e dobbiamo considerare l’idea che questo possa disturbarci.
Immagino che questo capitolo sia il più border-line della serie e che la dolcezza di Finn riuscirà a plagiare il demone a sua volta, in futuro.
Vedi se riesci a convincerlo a togliersi quella maledetta catena e poi perdila, per sempre. È irritante. Posso nutrirlo, ma dargli una dipendenza sarà dannatamente spiacevole, quasi impossibile, mentre indossa il simbolo di un altro, anche se appartiene ad un umano.
Dal punto di vista stilistico, la traduzione non è impeccabile, ci sono verbi coniugati malamente al tempo sbagliato e questo rende il racconto poco scorrevole.
Riassumendo, al momento il giudizio non è pieno perché ci siamo appena bagnati le labbra. Avrei preferito leggere la serie completa tutta di fila per poter apprezzare quella che immagino sarà l’evoluzione psicologica e romantica di Ezra, da una versione manipolatoria ed egocentrica a quella di un demone innamorato e protettivo, incapace di staccarsi dalla sua fonte di piacere (almeno io suppongo sarà questo che vedremo in futuro). È evidente, e viene ricordato nel testo, che dal momento in cui il demone si legherà all’altro inizierà a provare anche le sue emozioni, e questo ci lascia immaginare delle conseguenze interessanti su quanto potrebbero annacquarsi e addolcirsi i sentimenti di Ezra. Diventerà più empatico e meno calcolatore/egoista?
Sono anche curiosa di capire meglio il comportamento di Finn: quanto è dovuto al suo essere fragile e succube, quando invece al reale desiderio di sottomissione? Quanto è consapevole che sta per prostituirsi per compiacere un’altra persona e quanto invece la cosa lo incuriosisce davvero? Lo scopriremo solo quando il demone smetterà di fare giochetti mentali su di lui. Ma soprattutto: Ezra sarà capace di andare fino in fondo portando il ragazzo alla perversione contro la sua volontà?
Per questo, in attesa di seguire meglio gli sviluppi al momento solo accennati, assegnerei tre stelle e mezzo.
“Sarà bello stringere qualcuno, senza aspettative, a volte. Inoltre, se tu non lo vuoi, io non lo voglio.” Fece un sorrisetto. “E mi sa che sto invecchiando, perché non riesco a credere di averlo detto. Non dormo con le persone, Finn; faccio sesso per nutrirmi, poi me ne vado. Vorrei vedere come ci si sente a svegliarsi con qualcuno. Quell’irritante fae dai capelli rosa è la cosa più vicina ad un amico che ho, e la maggior parte del tempo non ci sopportiamo.”
Ora che Ezra era di nuovo vicino, tutto aveva perfettamente senso. “Sarò tuo amico.”

Finn and Ezra had me fascinated from the start. They are very different, in physicality and in paranormality (may not be a valid word, but it works in this instance). And yet, they are so very alike in how watchful they are over their own psyches and emotions. It was both refreshing and intriguing for me to see how Emma Jaye wove honesty and a bit of inevitable manipulation together to make a very real, very captivating basis on which Finn and Ezra decide to trust each other. This novella had humor, vulnerability, disillusionment, chivalry, and intimacy. A wonderful mix of everything that makes me want to keep reading the rest of the series!
Finn and Ezra had me fascinated from the start. They are very different, in physicality and in paranormality (may not be a valid word, but it works in this instance). And yet, they are so very alike in how watchful they are over their own psyches and emotions. THAT WAS SURPRISINGLY GOOD. No mushy stuff right at the beginning. Actually no mushy stuff at all. My favorite kind of book. And just the right amount of possessive alpha shit. The sex was not too rushed-through nor too long and boring. I got a little bit of a FSOG vibe but thankfully not too much. It was really short though. But, even that was a plus 'cause I wasn't sure it would've held my interest if it had been much longer.

Nope. I was hoping there was going to be a redeeming quality to Ezra but clearly not until the shit hits the fan. Couldn't stand Charlie. I liked that Finn got away from him but instead of standing on his own he's now under Ezra's thumb and likely to be a play toy. With the seduction and memory loss this one moves on blurred lines. Won't be continuing this one. TBR read.

Whole Hot Damn!
I think I'm going to hell for loving this book as much as I did!
Finn is such a cutie that I want something special for him after his first real boyfriend is a giant ass! This story was short but anything but sweet. It was sexually tense with a hot succubus after our innocent little college coed.
I was shocked at how much I loved this story! I loved every second of this book! I have to grab the other books to find out what happens next!

This book has it all: great dialogue, character development, plot and suspenseful pacing. Plus it conveys real SENSUALITY.
The author’s world building concept - that alien entities such as sex demons, etc. walk among us and feed on humanity is intriguing.
I actually like that Incubus Seduction ends on a cliffhanger. It makes me appreciate the effort that goes into writing an original book like this. Now I am avidly anticipating Book 2!

Seduction is quite deliciously naughty. This book was erotic, as expected, what I didn’t expect was the complexity of both the characters and the story line. I love when a book surprises me. Yes there’s sex, but the author crafts an amazing story that happens to have sex in it versus a sex book with a thin story line. Seduction is the first in the serial series, Incubus, it leaves off at a tiny cliffhanger but not too bad of one. OMG!!! Into the life and love of an incubus and a human. Eeeeeek! I love all things fantasy and Ms. Jaye has taken me on a ride into the mind and body of a demon who loves nothing more than to drain your lust.

Finn is a college student with a very uptight boyfriend, more like a sugar daddy. Charles is boring but Finn thinks they would get better with time. That is until he finds Ezra, the incubus that will turn his world upside down. Sex toys, otherworldly friends and deceit can be found in this short story. I'd love to know how Ezra and Finn will fare in the next book of the series.

This was so good. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, since I don’t remember how long ago I read the blurb. I just knew I wanted to read and I wasn’t wrong choosing it. It was such an interesting story. What is best about it, is that is only the start. The main characters were so charming. I loved Ezra de the most and can’t wait to read what will come next. Definitely recommend.

Emma Jaye's writing style is full on and does not shy away from the sexually explicit details needed for this kind of narrative. She tackles the sex scenes in a way that makes them arousing without being vulgar and definitely leaves you wanting more.
The story is built up wonderfully through great characters and the descriptions of the dark fantasy world Finn now finds himself in. Lust filled and fast paced this first instalment of the Incubus series was over way too quickly and I can't wait for part 2!

This is an excellent short novella. Emma Jaye always brings the angst and heat level. The author excels at the unexpected and this was no different.
The character development was solid on a novella level. There was excellent chemistry between the characters. I do wish the world building had been a little stronger. Since this is a series of novellas I do believe that will naturally strengthen.
It's a great read with a need to immediately pick up the next novella. The author's words are highly addictive. It did start a little slow for me as a story though.
I deducted half a star for world building and half a star for pacing. I've already grabbed book 2 and I’m looking forward to learning a more about the characters and the world Emma Jaye creates.

All through chapter one, all I could think is, "Why is he with Charlie?" Money, I suppose in the end, but once you get the gist of what the other characters are (incubus, fae, vampire), Charlie begins to look like another inhuman monster who wants to control our poor intrepid hero, Finn. The story was very well written, but contains elements that might make others leary. Cheating, dub-con, prostitution, human slavery. Are we on the road to a HEA or to Finn becoming a receptacle for all things bodily fluids?

A wonderfully erotic read that I really enjoyed. This story fascinated me right from the beginning and I love the storyline. Ezra, an incubus, has become obsessed with Finn ever since Finn walked into his sex shop. Finn keeps resisting Ezra but how long can he resist. How far will Ezra go to make Finn his.

VIRGIN MEETS INCUBUS...Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ this book. So HAWT and steamy. I was so mad at Charlie, but he got what he deserved. And Ezra I can't wait to see all the ways he makes Finn scream. I am a little worried about what will happen to Finn in the next books, but I am about to find out. So dark and twisted it kept me on the hook I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the rest of the series, already borrowing on KU.

Magnificently written story. I loved the twist and turns just when you think you have it all figured out BAM there is another twist. I can't wait until the next addition. This book is a must read I guarantee she will be one of your favorite author's.

Pretty good; will elaborate on it once I read the 2nd and 3rd books. I figured out later that this is the first book of a FIVE BOOK SERIES, and has CLIFFHANGERS, which I hate. If I had known ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have started reading it. In any case, it's sexy, funny, and well-written, so I'm in it for the long haul.
