This was so fun! I loved how Katee Robert really captured the personalities of Meg, Hercules, and Hades in this polyamorous relationship. From the beginning, I loved the dynamic between the three and it grew much more complex as the book went on. A great addition to the Wicked Villains series!

Oh my motherfucking God on a stick with bells on.

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated the first book in this series (Desperate Measures -- Jafar/Jasmine) but this was just EVERYTHING. So everything I’m having a difficult time knowing how to write about it.

Just … I didn’t know I needed a kinky queer polyamorous erotic romance starring a dom Hades, a switchy Meg and an adorably submissive Hercules. But it turns out I super did.
And I feel genuinely enriched by the experience.

Read as part of Long Live The King Anthology.

If you read the first book in the Wicked Villains series then you know what to expect from this one - dirty, filthy, sexy, kinky, smutty goodness. I'm not gonna say that this book is an emotional story about the power of love because it is not. But considering that this is more erotica than romance, I have to say there's a lot of talk about feelings and I was wholly convinced that this trio loves each other equally

Read my interview with Katee Robert:

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone Book 2 of Wicked Villains series
POV: First Person – Multiple

With his life turnaround, Hercules couldn’t afford to crave for things he couldn’t have. That didn’t stop him from being drawn to the dangerously alluring but in distress Megaera. However, if he chose to walk that path, he had to deal with Hades, the untouchable lord of the Underworld whose magnetism was as deadly as his reputatio

After living with Hades for a decade, Meg believes she knows her dark and kinky master, but somehow they have managed to drift apart. Ever observant, Hades is aware of Meg’s discontent and decides to bridge the gap while also getting revenge against an old nemesis. But when truths are revealed, will it be enough for this new beginning?

“When this is all over, my Meg will thank me for the lengths I go through for her. If there’s another reason in the mix? Well, I am who I am.”

”Pain and pleasure. Pleasure and pain. Both will kill you in the end if you’re not careful.”

Dude. I enjoyed the story of the first one, the writing style just wasn’t for me. I’m not sure if the author changed it up or if I’m just used to her writing now, but LML flowed much better for me. I actually truly loved Hades, Meg, and Hercules story. I love that it starts out as one thing and it evolves because feelings come in to play. I don’t want to say too much, but if you enjoy MMF and have always

I’m not a better man. I’m not even a good one. This woman and this man belong to me, and I’ll do whatever it takes to ensure they stay.

If you're a fan of erotic MMF menage romances with some BDSM thrown in, this hits the spot nicely. I was immediately hooked on the premise of this series and after reading Desperate Measures I couldn't wait for the big baddie, Hades, to get his HEA. This is Hades, Meg and Hercules story and it was utterly delicious!

Hades is man that enjoys a go

Boy do I wished this had an epilogue!!! This story was hot hot hot! Hades and Meg were drifting. She’s been unhappy and he’s been shutting her out, afraid to be vulnerable with her. This is where Hercules come in to be the buffer that will soften their edges out. He was only meant to be temporary. Too bad they all fell in love and wanted permanent. Also there’s that little issue where Hades enemy is Hercules’ father. But in the end it worked out? Or did it??? Hmmm. I just wish there was an epilo ...more

this is a series of seven books (6 actual novels plus a collection of short stories and additional scenes) and I am not even gonna tell you how fast I read all of them… spoiler alert: incredibly fast ;) but who would know how much I needed in my life a dark, contemporary, erotica retellings of Disney villains getting their happy endings with lots of BDSM on the way… ;) not me, that’s for sure… honestly, I am shocked by how addictive this series is… and I am totally blaming it on the amazing writ ...more

Ya know, I'm not sure if ever watched Disney's Hercules in its entirety. Bits and pieces here and there. And yet, I've just read an adult fanfic based on a children's movie. I bet in the Disney movie Hades, Meg & Hercules didn't end up in a permanent threesome, lol. Anyway, I like that it's a mmf, but sadly Learn My Lesson didn't quite work for me. It's a relationship dynamic that requires a lot more time and effort to develop in a way that's believably sustainable. Here it happened way too

I wanted a little bit more out of it.

Don't get me wrong, Katee Robert can write sexy scenes like no other, but I wish it had had a bit more plot and character development. My favorite part of the book was seeing Meg, Hades, and Hercules grow as characters and evolve into this triad, and what we got in the book wasn't enough to satisfy me.

I'm still curious enough to want to continue the series, especially knowing who the next book is about!

I will say that I am learning to really enjoy this series that Katee Robert has been writing but they are some of the HOTTEST that I have ever read from her so far. So fair warning on that one. I love seeing the unique play on the fairy tales, not really a big fan of making villains out of the hero from the stories BUT Katee Robert really shows a unique side to these villains and seeing them find their HEA. This one is a menage love story that is based on the “Hercules” tale where our characters ...more

I am most definitely in the minority here but I just didn't love this one quite as much as the first book.
There was so much to love about this story! Meg is an absolute queen and I loved the polyamorous relationship. Katee Robert does such an amazing job making this relationship feel equal and healthy. I love that Hercules added so much to the relationship and balanced out the other two. It was dynamic I haven't read before and really loved.
But I felt like this story was a little repetitive

Didn't think I would be able to jump into Hades/Meg's relationship after loving Jafar and Jasmine so much in the first one, but my god, this was just as good!! This might be the first book I've read that has a (view spoiler) and I loved every second of it.

This installment of the Wicked Villains series focuses on the relationship between Hades, Meg, and Hercules. I loved getting to see more of how the Underworld works. Herculues was definitely able to round out Hades' and Meg's sharp edges and I loved watching their relationship bloom! The pacing did lag a bit for me in places, but overall this was a really fun read. I love the concept of this series and I'm excited to continue on! ...more

I devoured this book in one sitting. It is hot and emotional, wild and satisfying all in one go. Hades is the king, Meg is the queen, and along comes Hercules to bring them all closer. LOVE. If Katee Robert is not on your auto-buy list, then I don't know what you are doing with your life.

The Wicked Villains series gets better with each book (and I wasn't sure how she could top Desperate Measures) and I literally cannot wait for the next one!

"Fuck, but they’re beautiful together. The brightest star and the darkest night, both made better by the presence of the other. If only they realized it."

Katee Robert writes erotica so well and it's amazing how she manages to shock me every single time I read her books.

I don't fully realize this but when I read Katee Robert's books I actually enjoy it. There's definitely plot and then the romance and smut scenes are honestly the best. And the Hercules retelling is simply amazing and the fact

I definitely enjoyed this book much more than the first one. I think having a background of the characters and more understanding of the world really helped with the plot and character development of this particular book in the series. I found the main characters to be very intriguing the sex was very descriptive and very entertaining and a really fun read. I still felt that the book was lacking a little bit of a plot but a lot of the things that annoyed me in the first book were not really p

This is the second book in the series told from the multiple perspectives of Megera, Hades and Hercules. This is a highly erotic adult romance book with intricate emotional elements of polygamy. I thought this portrayed polygamy really well and how diverse it is. I felt like the emotial aspects we complicated and very clearly defined and felt.

This book is definitely for someone that is all about the steamy sex scenes. It was basically every other chapter. Personally, I prefer a b
