“This dusty corner of Arizona is about to have a replay of the O.K. Corral!” * * * When “Crazy” Kate Morgan learns that her sisters are the next targets on a killer’s to-do list, she’s hell-bent on chasing down trouble before it rides into Jackrabbit Junction.
The problem: The darn law dogs keep nipping at her heels, tossing her in the hoosegow, and sidetracking her hunt.
The solution: A posse—the pricklier the better.
If Kate can dodge this peck of pickles long enough to catch the killer, she can prove she’s not so “crazy” after all.
Special Guest Stars: Hanging out in Jackrabbit Junction in this book are Natalie Beals (the Morgan sisters’ cousin), Detective Cooper, and Ol’ Man Harvey from the USA Today bestselling Deadwood Mystery series. You don’t want to miss the heated hijinks happening down in the Arizona desert!

My favorite sisters are back!! Oh, how I have missed the Morgan sisters! This was a non-stop crazy fun ride from start to finish. Love the guest addition of Natalie, Cooper, and Harvey. The Chester & Harvey pairing is pure genius! Fingers crossed for more crossovers. Ann Charles ALWAYS makes me smile!
Once again, Ann Charles delivers a funny, action-packed page turner of a book! Character-laden and filled with typical Morgan-sister shenanigans that readers have come to love, the book features fast and hilarious dialogue with such original name-calling between characters that you are left wondering what conversations in the author's house are like. The addition of a few of characters from the world of the Deadwood novels makes the book massively character driven, and developments in this book make me anxious to return to Deadwood in its next installment. As usual, Charles writes well, and keeps you entertained from start to finish.
Morgan Sisters are back and Natilie is there to help. After Nat leaves Deadwood to escape Cooper and some crazy feelings she gets caught up with Crazy Kate, Dont call her crazy, in her quest to stop the killer coming after Ronnie and Claire. Some big choices are to be made and chaos continues. If you haven't read these you need to as they get better each time. I found myself laughing way to much the further I got into the book.
This is a fun read for summer! There is suspense, humor, romance and never ending surprises! Ann Charles has spun another tale of the Morgan sisters’ exploits that keeps the pages turning! To add to the fun, their cousin Natalie has come for a short visit with a couple of surprises of her own. One of which is a bit of extra agitation for the Morgan sisters who are allergic to law enforcement. Read it to find out more!
OMG! The Morgan sister's are back and cousin in tow as well of some favorites from the Deadwood series, this book was so funny! I made the mistake of reading this in public and was laughing so much people just had to know what I was reading. I Loved this book with Harvey and sexy Coop as well. I could not put this book down and I highly recommended this mystery with hysterical funny antics.
As with all of Ann’s books I laugh my head off. This one did not disappoint. Natalie, Coop and Harvey come visiting the Morgan sisters. It’s laughs and frights and then finally, we get some satisfaction. A very good read. This is now my favorite JRJ book.
This was a fun read. The banter between the sisters and cousin Natalie made me chuckle out loud at times. It's fun to see how the author moves their lives and relationships forward without getting stagnant. The diamond killer plot is weak. Basically, it just provides for the action. It might have been improved some with more info and background or connection to the killer. The setting is nicely done; makes me want to be a tourist at their RV Park. I'll continue to follow these characters in the series.
The only reason I picked up this series is because I wanted to read about Natalie, Cooper, & Harvey's adventure in Arizona after reading book 11(?) in the Deadwood series. At 1st I was unsure because the 1st book of this series I would rate the lowest but knowing what this book was about (via the description) I pushed ahead. And I'm extremely glad I did, this was hands down the best book in this series. I absolutely loved being able to read from Natalie's pov, as well as the other characters. This book was definitely well written and thought out, I'd rate it higher if I could.
What in the Works Will those sisters do next? Who is writing those crazy notes? Mate thinks she knows and Ronnie thinks she knows i think i atete with Ronnie tho, at least i thought so from the start of the notes. What if n'atwa right though & that idiot is doing it. I don't think so. This was edge of Your seat fun and bang um up wild times in Jackrabbit Junction! Can't wait for the next book‼️‼️♥️♥️♥️🤯🤯
The Morgan sisters are crazier than ever. Especially Kate, she takes crazy to a whole new level. I love the car chase scene with Kate and her Rockford moves. When a killer comes after several people and two of the sisters, they form a The Prickly Pear Posse. They will find the killer before he comes after them. What could go wrong? A fun adventure.
I did like the story but the cross over from the Deadwood series is a little bit of an issue. I started that book and realized I needed to read this one first or there was a big hole in Natalie and Cooper's story. Since this series is about the Morgan sisters I didn't expect Nat and Coop to have such a big part. I'm glad I did come read it because now the Deadwood book makes more sense.
Cute story that was an easy read without a lot of depth. Like one of those books you grab at the airport to pass the time during your flight. I have no desire to read any of the other books in this series.
This is a great book! Ann Charles is a terrific author. She always has a great mix of laugh out loud humor, mystery, and romance. Reading about the Jackrabbit Junction gang is the perfect "afternoon escape."
This is another fun read in this wonderful series. If you are looking for a light, funny, romantic and action packed read that will take you away from the crazy of today’s real world read this book.
As always Ann Charles comes through with a great read. This series is full of laughter, fun characters, suspense and romance. Eagerly awaiting the next book in the series. I definitely recommend this book. 💛📖👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌝
Once again this author hits a home run with her story. From the beginning page to the last sentence this story keeps the reader’s attention and keeps them turning page after page. Love, love, love this author and her stories.
These books have So much humour in them they are a joy to read. The Morgan sisters (and the men who live them) are fabulous, the byplay between them all is so hilarious i find myself laughing out loud. Not to mention the well crafted mystery that is an integral part of these stories. Claire is the middle sister, working as a handyman on her step-grandmothers R V park, Kate used to be a teacher till she decided the job no longer suited her, on paying a visit to see her family she meets and falls for local bar owner Butch, Kate's my favourite, when you read the books I'm sure you'll agree. Then there's Ronnie (Veronica) the eldest just out of a bad marriage and reeling at having to start over with no money/home/ or job she turns up in Jackrabbit Junction to pick her wounds with the rest of the family. Add in the wisecracking sexuality promiscuous geriatric friends of their grandfathers and things are never dull at the R V park. Cannot recommend this series.enough it's great fun.
