Gun Mage #2

Gun Mage 2

Rate this book
Surviving a Post Apocalyptic Magic Earth

We escaped from New York City, but the mages are still hot on our heels. We’re heading west, to see a man about a gun.

Actually, a lot of guns.

Any gun I touch I can summon back, so I need to grow my arsenal to have a chance to fend off our pursuers and make it to the west coast. Unfortunately, we’ll have to traverse miles mutant-infested wilderness to get to our contact, and even if we make it through the mutant lands, the mages could easily be waiting for us on the other side.

I’m definitely gonna need a lot of guns.

Guns are more than tools of Evil

In a post disaster New world, a new type of Mage has been released into a world of mages. This mage will rather save or destroy the world. This mage can do something different than the normal elemental, but he can use Guns that he can create after he touched a new one. His knowledge is hard to come by because this world is no longer modern, but swords and bows are the weapons other than magic.
This is fun and exciting to read and I read as much as I could.
Can't wait for where we are going next.
Read in 2 days.

Love the book and author

More fun magic fun. On the run as usual. The MC must learn about his magic and how to handle guns in general. Safety first... Unless your a red mage then terminate. This book also shows hints of a bigger world and more problems than just the red mages and the magisterium.. Looking forward to the next one.

Better then...

It was better then the first installment in this series. I really enjoyed the pace and direction of the book.

I'm also glad firearm rules were introduced into the series. Rules I learned hunting rabbit with my father when I was five years old.

Looking forward to the next!

Good read, fast paced, logical plot and fun,

The second book was a good, fast read and enjoyable as the main character and supporting cast are well written and with good dialogue. The world building is good, bit off sometimes and the main character's strategy is sometimes frustrating... But a good fun simple read.

Read more Logan Jacobs!

Fun and lighthearted, I am interested in how this story plays out. It is simple so far, with my own personal interest in guns, getting more guns, how to use guns, and how awesome guns would be with magic behind them.

Great post apocalyptic series

Is currently my favorite series from this author right now. Well fleshed characters and a very interesting world that they introduced with this series. I highly recommended this book to others.

Onward

Heading west to safety the two mages fled to their pursuers. Heading through the countryside. A good read. they are barely ahead of the mages hunting them and are forced to detour through the mutant
reservation. A good read.

Fun read

Fun read while staying home during COVID. I like the story and the world building. My main complaint is that the MC kills too many people without any second thought. Many of them are just doing their job and he kills them with no remorse.

This was a great tale! Our hero's finally made it out of New York city and after several perilous encounters on the way the made it to Motown and met Charles Darwin. More action ensues as they escape from town and head west. Looking forward to book 3!

Number 2 was good too

This book continues where the last one left off. I am really starting to like the way the author describes things in a post meteor world. I also liked that to more people have been added to the party.

Good read

Enjoyable story with good character building. I like that the young mans magic is to conjure guns. The story is set in a time when magic rules and guns are forbidden.

Enjoyed the story, definitely better than the first book. It would be interesting to see where the adventures take them with the new additions to the group.

Engrossing reading

Edge of seat drama and good story line not mired in gratuitous sex. Basic romance of fugitives on the run.

Gun Mage

Interesting weapons and pleasant characters. If one knows something about the firearms, it helps the story move along and remain fun.

Excellent

I thoroughly enjoyed this second volume of LJ's take on a dystopian future with magic. Some of the references are lost on a non US resident, truly enjoyed it.

A good sequel. Easily as good as the first.

A seamless continuance of the plot line and energy of the 1st book. A rarity in itself. Avidly await the 3rd iteration
