โDo what you need to do. Change your world,โ he says softly, his eyes connected to mine so intensely thereโs no hope of looking away. โI have to go make my world, but when the time is right, Iโll be back for you.โโจLennix is Native American and her heritage means so much to her. (a) The countless missing and murdered indigenous women across North America. With all of the above on the table, how is it possible that I didn't love this one? Especially when it was in the hands of one of my favourite authors?

(c) The positive portrayal of First Nations' culture.
(d) Climate change and fossil fuel dependency.

Scorching love story that had me simultaneously eager to know what happened next and not wanting the story to end.

โHow does it feel knowing you could bring a man like me to my knees?โ
He was my first. Ten years ago when we made love, I didnโt know a passion like this was rare, something to be coveted and chased and clutched, but tonight, I know itโs a comet shooting across the sky and all we can do is ride its fiery trail.
Now I know.
