Momota Inoue (Japanese: 井上桃太) is the manga author of several Pokémon manga. In 2006, she received the 58th Shogakukan Rookie Comic Grand Prize, Children's Division, for her work Red Enza.
I believe this manga is based on one of the Pokemon movies; the complete story is in this single volume. It's clearly aimed at a young audience but is well done. A good children's story is one an adult enjoys when reading to the child. This story qualifies.
I thought the art style in this one was really nice. It fit the world of Pokémon well. The pacing kinda worked better here than the movie, felt like Ash & everyone else were more important.
