A down on her luck human gets the break of a lifetime when a prince of light comes to the rescue...
Things haven't been the same for light prince Ian ever since a fateful trip to his world showed him everything he knew was a lie. But when a mission to protect a new beacon on Earth puts him face to face with perhaps the unluckiest woman alive, he feels a pull to her unlike anything before. Somehow, against all odds, he has found his soul bond.
Liz Miller is just trying to make it past her most recent string of unfortunate events that have landed her with nothing but her rundown car and eight dollars to her name. And when things look like they can't get any worse, a tall, brooding, angelic man shows up to save her in the nick of time. He's gorgeous, sexy and protective, and makes her an offer she can't turn down. But it also feels like he's hiding secrets...
Being with Liz is making Ian rethink all his plans. And between fun days and unforgettable nights, he starts to think that maybe his future could hold something other than darkness. Meanwhile, the closer they get, the more Liz can sense something is wrong with the man she is coming to love. If she and the others don't do something quick, the most powerful fae in the world might just be the end of them all.
Loved by Light is book 4 in the Wings, Wands and Soul Bonds series. No cheating. No cliffhanger. Just a fun, sexy, action-packed romance featuring an irresistible warrior prince and the woman he wants forever.
Terry is the author of over forty bestselling shifter romances. She spends her spare time dreaming of dragons, playing with her pets, and watching sunsets from her home in the mountains alongside her husband (who she suspects would make a great bear shifter). She loves the wild outdoors, her fans, all readers, and getting lost in a great book.

I'm sad to say that this was my least favorite book in this series. There were so many expectations on my part due to the build-up that this character's book inevitably got with the first three books in this series and it didn't hold a candle to what I was expecting.
I was under the impression that Ian's book was going to be the most gentle, sweet, and light-hearted story out of the three. Instead, it was rather dark and tumultuous, which wasn't what I was looking forward to reading about. So that was my bad.
Ian was going through a lot throughout this novel. He was dealing with things he had never had to deal with it before and as irrational as his justifications were I understood them. As time passed, I liked how he let Liz in. She essentially opened his eyes to new possibilities. I also really enjoyed how the author broke down the alpha male stereotype by having Ian have meaningful friendships and communicating with the other princes.
Liz was such a sweet person. With all the hardships she's been through it was surprisingly nice to see that not everyone comes away from those situations being sarcastic and cynical beings. She was a very good mate for Ian and vise versa. They helped each other grow in so many ways.
I was dreading the ending of this novel. There were a few times where I had to convince myself to power through. I'm SO glad things worked out the way they did. Now I'm excited for the next series in this universe that will most likely feature some of the dragons we've met throughout this series!
My Favorite Quotes:
"If you look amongst the chaos, you'll always see some good shining through."
"Sometimes... things just go badly, and no amount of good attitude can stop them."
"Letting go of the past is necessary to keep moving into the future."
Another fantastic story to finish off this series by Terry Bolryder❣️Poor Ian is not feeling himself especially after discovering the truth about his kingdom and now he’s expected to continue his mission of protecting beacons. Liz is grateful when Ian becomes her white Knight and shows up to protect her after a bad day of nothing going right😢
I loved Ian and Liz and I especially loved the last half of this book as there were some explosive secrets and I can’t wait to see what happens next❣️I received an advanced copy and I willingly leave my honest review😇
Ian is the last fae to find a beacon, but his heart is full of pain because of what happened in the Light Kingdom. Ultraviolet has a plan for him that he agreed to. But the he meets Liz. He struggles with his feelings because he doesn't think he deserves her and she won't fit in with Ultraviolet's plan. Liz has continually bad luck but always sees the positive side of things. She believes that her and Ian could form a soul bond if only her powers would manifest. The ending was great and looks like we will be reading a new series soon. I am looking forward to it.
Loved by Light is the fourth and final book in Terry Bolryder’s new Wings, Wands and Soul Bonds Series. It is a steamy paranormal shifter romance that is written in first person, from the point of view of both the hero and heroine. This is a fantastic read, with great characters, an intriguing storyline, fiery chemistry, and no cliff hangers.
Ian, a powerful light fae warrior, has been struggling with who he is since his near death experience during his last trip to the Fae kingdom. But when he is assigned to protect Liz Miller, a human beacon, he begins to rethink the plans and life choices he has made. Liz has always been surrounded by bad luck, but when Ian comes to her rescue several times, she begins to believe her luck has changed for the better. But before their future can began Ian must face his past and come clean of all his secrets. Will friendship, love and a soul bond be enough to save Ian when the enemy show it’s true face? Read it and find out!
All the books in this series contain a happily ever after and can be read as a standalone, however, reading it in order will give you a better appreciation for the characters and the series itself.
Wow!! A great finale to this fantastic series. With each book Bolryder has created a new and fantastic world with great characters and an evolving storyline. As with all of her series’, Bolryder ends with the introduction of new characters and storylines. I cannot wait to learn more about the new dragons introduced in this series; Landon, Ryder, and Dallin.
This is a voluntary review of a reader’s advance copy.
My heart is so full, warm and fuzzy after reading this heartfelt sweet and sexy fae love story about the true power of love, compassion and hope against evil and adversity. The writing is fluid and fast, dialogue natural, the telling full of humor. There is also the strength of friendship shown, the value of good and loyal friends. It's exiting to wait for Liz to show her powers and how her awakening contributes to the plot. This is also a story of self-discovery and acceptance. Interestingly the oracle makes an appearance and binds this series into the other dragon stories already written and also the new ones yet to come in the future. I cannot wait!
It’s finally Ian’s turn for his story. He has been through some darkness lately and isn’t sure who he is and what he stands for anymore. This is a pretty antsy read compared to the others (par with Flynn’s I suppose). I am interested in what happens with Ultraviolet but could do without more oracle BS.
As to be expected, this is another great addition to the series! I loved the characters and the way they bond. Plenty of danger and deception. The romance isn't bad either. ;)
This is a good ending to the Wings, Wands, and Soul Bonds series (though it hints that there might be another spin-off series in the works). I have liked all of Terry's dragon series, but it was nice to now have a series about Fae, whose powers are very different from dragons/shifters. The Fae princes were all likable in their own way, and it was fun to see them try to adapt to and understand human culture.
This book was about Ian, the Light Fae, and the development of his soul bond with Liz. Ian was a sweetheart, and I have liked him from the beginning of the series. I have wondered why he always seemed so innocent, but this book explains his past, and delves into his heartbreak over how many of the Light Fae lied to him for so long. He was so damaged from what he discovered about his kind, and was being manipulated by another badly damaged Light Fae. It took some effort from Liz and his friends to convince him that revenge on the bad Light Fae was not the answer, and that his powers should still be used for good.
Liz was likable too, but I wished the story had given a better explanation of why she had never known about her powers. All of the other soul bonds of the Fae princes knew they had powers before they met the princes, but just didn't really know how to use them.
This one gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 stars. I enjoyed it, and recommend this series to anyone who likes paranormal romances. I do think readers will enjoy it more if they read several of Terry's earlier series first, though. Those series are Double Dragons, Tiger Protectors, Awakened Dragons, Awakened Sea Dragons, Rent-a-Dragon, Date a Dragon, Nightmare Dragons, Frozen Dragons, and Forgotten Dragons. Readers should definitely read at least the Forgotten Dragons series before beginning this one.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
This one has a ton of surprises in it. It's finally Ian's turn, and now he doesn't know if he wants it! Ian is such a wonderful character. He has been through so much. Then he meets Liz and she is having such a run of bad luck, he just has to help her. We get to see all the previous characters as well as Ian and Liz. I loved watching them get to know each other. The decisions that have to be made are very complex. This was an excellent way to end a series I was not sure about. I loved it, and the fairies grew on me!
This story has a fast pace, a hopeful tone and a character oriented storyline with some action and some steamy scenes. The characters are vibrant and endearing. Ian is just a sweetie pie! There are mostly fairies in this one, but most of the rest are Dragon shifters, with some other shifters. Read at least this series in order, but to get the full effect, you have two options. If you don't mind menage, read the Double Dragons box set and then the Tiger Protectors box set, then continue with the rest. If you don't like that, start with the Awakened Dragons box set, then the Rent-a-Dragon box set, the Date-a-Dragon box set, Awakened Sea Dragons box set, Dragon Guards of Drakkaris box set, Nightmare Dragons series (none of the rest are boxed at this time, but check!), Frozen Dragons series, Club Crimson series, Bad Dragons series and Forgotten Dragons series before this one. And there is more to come! Hooray! Enjoy your time with Terry Bolryder.
Ian is a light fae Prince who has had his rose-colored glasses smashed, stomped, folded, spindled, and mutilated. He had believed that his people were the best, the strongest, the good guys, only to discover that the ones in power were not. It has sorta messed up his head. He has gotten himself into a revenge plot with Ultaviolet and Dallin and is keeping the whole thing a secret from his fellow fae princes here in the human realm. When he is sent to find and protect a beacon he is determined that he will not find his soul bond because he not only doesn't deserve one but his machinations with UV preclude his being able to have one. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, meeting Liz will change all of that.
Liz has not had an easy life but lately bad luck seems to follow her. Something got messed up with her latest paycheck and now she has been evicted from her crappy apartment. On top of that, her landlord's nephew is trying to force her to, well you know. She can't believe it when the most gorgeous man she has ever seen not only saves her, but offers her a free place to stay with no strings attached. But can she trust him?
We'd also get a glimpse of what will come next in Terry's world of fae and dragons. Can't wait.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. It was a long time coming and so worth it. I love this series! You have to read these books in order to get the full enjoyment. Ian has been struggling with the revelations he learned about the light fae to which he was born. He's been working to correct some of the wrongs and injustices he has learned of. He doesn't feel that he deserves a soul bond. He's sent to watch over a suspected beacon, and he does so reluctantly. Liz is having another bad luck day. After getting evicted and planning on spending the night in her car, she's assaulted. She's suprised to be rescued by a good looking gentleman who offers her a place to stay. I liked that Ms Bolryder opened up Ian's mind to us, her readers. Given all that had gone on before, I understood where Ian's dilemma lay in working with Ultraviolet and Dallin. I liked seeing how the relationship between Ian and Liz opened him up to more possibilities than his set course. The ending is fantastic. I love the lead in to possibly more stories in the future, I hope. Thank you Ms Bolryder for these wonderful adventures. I'm looking forward to more.
For readers who have read other books in the series, you will remember and for new readers, you will find that Ian is all of the above. The author is one of the best at creating not only strong heroes but ones that touch your heart.
Ian learned some things about his world that has torn his heart apart. When he finds Liz he helps her out of a dangerous situation and changes her from homeless to roommate. He tries to ignore the attraction. Liz, while still trying to come down from her fear, isn't going to let their feelings be ignored.
The other Fae princes and their soulbonds notice that Liz is more than he wants to let on. They encourage both to let their feelings out. However, Ian has plans for his future that don't allow him to form bonds. It wouldn't be fair.
Will the changes Ian has discovered in his kingdom continue to block his willingness to love and be loved? Who is responsible for his feelings? Will the plot and deceptions be discovered in time to save them all?
A fitting end (sort of) to this series with an introduction to what comes next. As always, a winner read.
Such a good story. Ian troubled by what he learned of his world agrees to a plot that will end his life and his people. Ian saves Liz from her landlord's son who has very bad intentions. Ian knows Liz is his soul bound but knowing he has planned to end his life tries to keep Liz at arms length. Liz has terrible luck. Things stop working, checks don't get deposited correctly, she gets kicked out of her apartment for violations that she had no control over. Intermixed with all of that she meets Ian who offers her a place to stay and help. She needs protection from chaos. She lets Ian know he has chaos and together they help each other. A lot is uncovered in this book. The other princes should have been aware of what was happening with Ian but they were to wrapped up in their soul bounds to see what was going on around them. I look forward to reading about Dallin. I also can't wait to see what happens in the fae world. I really enjoyed all of the books in this series and learning more about Ultraviolet. Thanks for the new world you created.
This series needs to be read in order - Frost, Darkness, Heat, and then Light (stuff happens in previous books, especially in Heat)
Loved it!
I loved how Terry didn't just glance over Ian's experiences in the Light Kingdom. There had to be repercussions for Ian, as his beliefs were ripped asunder. Ian's friends see the difference in him, but it takes a curvy beacon to help readjust his world views and gives him the strength to fight against the chaos.
The return of some pivotal characters bring the action to this story, give it a major conclusion, and set up Terry's next series (CAN NOT WAIT - they are my favorites and these are going to be extra special)!
I truly hope Terry brings us more Fae in the future and let's us see how the turmoil in the Fae lands plays out.
The reason I read Terry Bolryder books - a hunky hero, a perfectly matched heroine, dash of action, emotional connections between the H/h, and a happily ever after guaranteed.
Grab this series, grab Terry's dragons, heck, grab all of Terry's books!
This is a great series. It is best read in order although I think it is easy to follow even if one didn’t read the other books. However, the characters across the series are so great that they are worth the read.
I have been a fan of Terry Bolryder’s books for a while. Then she had a couple of series where I liked the books but didn’t love them. Well, I’m glad I read this series because this one was fantastic. A bit of humor, some intrigue, a lot of action and fun, sweet characters are seen in all the books. In this book, the light Fae, Ian, had gone through a horrible experience in the prior book and is basically having an identity crisis. He meets Liz, who seems to have bad luck following her. Of course they are soil bonds but will Ian accept the bonding? We find out more about why things are happening and this book sets the stage for the next series which I happily wait for. Luckily I have the prior series, the Forgotten Dragons, to binge on!
Loved By Light, Wands, Wings and Soul Bonds, Book 4.
Loved, Loved By Light, in fact I loved the complete Wands series. Ian has been wronged by the Light fae and has agreed to help others to stop it from happening again, to others. Liz is a Beacon, she has latent Fae magic, not that it's ever helped her in the past, she's never been very lucky and this run of bad luck, has resulted in her losing her home and being without money. It's Ian's turn to protect a Beacon, but he can't have a Soul Bond not now, could he? This is their story, and it's not an easy ride for either Liz or Ian. They need to help one another. This was a great conclusion to the Wands series and a hint of what's to come in the next series, which I for one, can't wait for! Well done Terry Bolryder another great series, I don't know how you do it, on such a regular basis.
Loved by Light: Wings, Wanda and Soul Bonds book 4 by Terry Bolryder is a 5 star read. This is the last book in this series and definitely my favourite, Ian is in a bad place after what happened in the last book so he’s in no mood to find a soul bond but he wasn’t expecting Liz, who after a string of bad luck finds herself homeless and in a spot of bother, Ian comes charging in and saving her and from here they work their way to each other but there’s a few obstacles in the way. This book was brilliantly written and I loved the characters, I would highly recommend this book and the whole series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This was a stunning conclusion to this latest series by Terry and also set us up for the next series wher we return back to dragons and yes damaged dragons at that
Ian had his world destroyed in the previous book when he discovered just how evil the world of the light faes was and it didn't help that he was also killed His friends know that it has changed him but they can't help him as he won't let them in Then he meets Liz the latest beacon and his soul mate if he will let her be She sees that he is fighting the chaos inside him and will do whatever she can to help this kind man/fae. When danger is circling them it will be her love that saves him and the entire fae kingdom.
And another Fae Prince found their soul bond. Ian has been through a lot and seeing how he was hidden from the truth of his kingdom, he thought helping Ultraviolet would make a difference. However things didn't work out so well for Ultraviolet in the long run. The chaos in him/her really did a number on him/her. But I wander what will become of Ultraviolet, seeing that she is so set on taking revenge. Well I just love how things worked out for Ian and Liz, although it took a while for them to get to where they are now..true love always overcome any challenge...Now that all the Fae found their soul bond what's next..big fan as always Winzie19☺💞.
I was really looking forward to reading the conclusion of the Wings, Wands and Magic Bonds series and I was disappointed. Ian, the most powerful of the Fae princes and the most naive, finally found his soul bond. Liz is perfect for Ian. She helps bring him peace and clarity after the chaotic events leading up to this book. I'm usually sad when I read the last book in a series, knowing that it usually means goodbye to the characters I have come to love, but in typical Terry Bolryder style, she left the reader with a hint of what is to come next. (Yay!)
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Loved these Fae Princes, don’t want to see them go. I hope this ending is just a new beginning in this world for other characters in these stories such as the rescued dragons and even long suffering and badly abused “Ultraviolet “. To get the full impact of who’s who and what’s what you need to read from the beginning of the series ( don’t worry they’re all great ). Waiting for next offering from this author as I always enjoy her works. Thank you for giving me hours of enjoyment throughout all of your series !
Great last book of the series where light and dark come together to complement each other. The conflict of holding out for a new life or following through with promises made in haste. Thoroughly enjoyed the series and couldn’t put the books down. I love how storylines bring back the hero fae princes and their souls bonds from previous books to complete the series. Definitely recommend reading previous three books in the series to get the best out of the this book. Great set up to new series coming out which I’m starting to read book 1 of now.
Ian's book did not disappoint. Poor Ian, the betrayal from his people and the horrors his kind have done has really done a number on him and he seeks out ultraviolet and Dallin in order to help him get revenge. Only fate has other plans and he meets his soul bond that makes him question everything and want what the old Ian has always wanted. Problem is ultraviolet and Dallin aren't so willing to let him go and ruin the plans that have been set. The ending sets you up for a new series involving dragons that I cant wait to read.
Ian is the light fae who died in the last book. He has become disillusioned, sullen, and withdrawn; however, he's forced to locate Liz, the down-on-her-luck beacon. The conflict takes a surprising twist, there are plenty of revelations, and Liz makes a fabulous soul bond. Ian misses the mark for this reader, though; the depth seems lacking on his side of the bond. Not the best ending to this series, but I do look forward to Dallin's story in the "Reclaimed Dragons" series.
This is the fourth book in the series and should be read in order to get the true experience of what is going on. This book is Ian story of how he meets is soul mate and overcome the chaos that is overtaking is true self. This is definitely a bit of a emotional read as the journey between Ian and Liz as we find out what they go through before the get there happy ending or do they to find out you will have to read it for yourself. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Ian doesn't know what to do now that he was brought back to life. So when he has to watch over the latest beacon, he's feels like he will never have a soul bond. Liz has the worst luck first getting evicted from her apartment than being almost assaulted by her Ex apartment managers son, she doesn't know what to expect from her savoir ian. Liz is falling for Ian hard but is truly unsure about him. Can these two truly be Soul Bonds? Great read
Know anyone that has the worst luck? Bad things keep happening to them? That is Liz's life story. Liz takes the bad situations in her life and twists them until she finds the silver lining. Ian has lost hs way after learning the truth about the Light Fae Kingdom. He closes himself off from his friends feeling vengeful, hurt and confused. Found out how Liz turns an angry prince into a beautiful soul bonded mate.
Ian is going through some pain after learning some things and is struggling with this. Meeting Liz brings some hope into his life again, after he didn't believe he deserved a soul bond. Lix is again having some tough luck and Ian is the one to come to the rescue. Ian and Liz's chemistry is strong and I loved how they interacted with each other during the story. It was another wonderful story by Terry Bolryder and I loved and enjoyed it.
Once again Terry did not disappoint. The storyline she tells is different for each book. All the stories have happy endings. However how they get there is different. I am always hard pressed to try to put her books down. It is so easy to get caught up in her books and the world and time fall away. As always Terry I look forward to your next book.
