Dangerous Amish Inheritance is a story that will keep her turning pages till the end. Ruthie Eicher was being threaten and beaten if she didn’t leave Amish Mountain. Noah Schlabach had returned to sell his family’s home and land. The twists and turns with who, why, how and all the elements of a suspense was there. Plus, Ruthie and Noah hidden secrets from their younger years had to be faced. But who is trying to destroy Ruthie? Noah didn’t want to face more loss and grief but can he assist in rescuing Ruthie and her sons from total destruction?

I look forward to reading more books by Debby Giusti in the future. I’ve never been disappointed with her suspense stories filled with mystery, strong characters and faith.

Dangerous Amish Inheritance is a thrilling story written by Debby Giusti. This story starts out with an Amish widow being beaten and warned she needs to leave her farm. When her son rings the bell signalling help is needed who shows up really starts Ruthie Eicher wondering about who the attacker really is. Noah Schlabach, who is not only the nearest neighbor but Ruthie's lost love. As these two get reawusinted and learn each other's secrets from the past Noah knows he can't leave Ruthie and her two sons alone. As attacks continue to rise Ruthie and Noah start piecing together the mystery of the attacks and when the attacker is finally revealed Ruthie couldn't be more shocked. This storyline brings healing, forgiveness, and love to its characters. This is definitely a book that is hard to put down.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.

Congratulations to Debby Giusti for writing a wonderful mystery for her readers enjoyment.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Dangerous Amish Inheritance. Debby's one of my favorite authors. I really like her suspense stories and she does an awesome job on her Amish tales; all of this means she is an awesome author in my book. This story is well written, action packed, and full of adventure. I know you are going to love it.

Amish Widow Ruthie Eicher wakes up to some kind of noise. Someone had been threatening her. She looks out into the rainy night to see movement and notices that her wood pile is on fire. She wakes her oldest son to help her put the fire out. She is trying to put the fire out when a man attacks her. Her boys rescue her and rings the bell for help. The man from next door arrives to find her sons begging her not to die like their father and grandfather did two months ago.

Noah Schlabach is home to ready his father's house for sale. He hears the bell and runs to help the family of the girl he once loved. Noah had left the Amish community ten years ago. Eli, Ruthie's father was in bad health then he would be worse now. Leaving Ruthie ten years ago was the hardest thing he had ever done. He finds Ruthie is lying in the wet Georgia clay. "Help her" a boy about nine cries. He takes her to her room. When he see the oldest boy he sees his own face on the child. Is this possible?

A terrifying journey as a mad man tries to steal the farm and kill Ruthie. God has a plan for these two broken souls, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

I enjoy Debby Giusti books and this is one of them.
Story is about Ruthie who is recently widowed with two boys Simon and Andrew.
Someone is threatening her and wants her to leave Amish Mountain.
Simon is the son of the next door neighbor. He has returned to Amish Mountain to sell
his late dad's home . He and Ruthie were in love as teens. He was surprised to hear
Ruthie's husband and father had just died. Once he realizes someone is threatening Ruthie and
beating her up, he knows he can't leave her until he finds out if Ruthie and the boys
will be ok. This is a suspenseful story and you are kept guessing who may be behind the threats.
Simon and Ruthie find they must resolve their past. This is a story of suspense, greed and forgiveness. The reader is drawn in from the very beginning . Quick read.

Slow and Steady

I enjoyed all of the action and suspense, but in parts of the book the author kept repeating herself. Yes Noah left Amish Mountain he felt guilty for what happened to Ruthie, and his brother. The Author mentioned that over and over. Ruthie has been getting threatening letters to leave the mountain before she or her children get hurt. This time the attacker is serious he stepped up his threat by physically attacking Ruthie. Her son rang the bell that's attached to the porch to signal for help. Her neighbor and long time friend Noah comes to her aid. This book has murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and a few surprises.

Amish romantic suspense story with lovable characters. It was easy to get to know and like widow Ruthie, her two young sons Simon, Andrew, and Noah her old friend, neighbor, and first love. Noah left Ruthie and his Amish faith ten years ago and comes back to town to sell his father's home across the river from Ruthie just as she is being stalked and threatened.

Even though a lot of wrong assumptions were made, Ruthie and Noah eventually figure out their past, as they hurtle past one danger after another! Fans of Author Debby Guisti will enjoy her latest book!

This was a well written second chance romance. Ruthie Eicher was once sweet on Noah Schlabach. But circumstances separated them. Then time passed Ruthie married and things happened that tested her faith. Then Noah returned. This is a well written book that shows the tests faith can go thru. There is alot of suspense and action in this story. You will find yourself on the edge of the seat as things happen to Ruthie. The bad guy will surprise you and sadden you in a way. Love of family comes thru in this story. Its a great story and worth a read. J

I really enjoyed this suspenseful story with second chance romance to balance it out. It keeps you on your toes trying to figure out who is behind terrorizing Ruthie and her children and exactly why is she wanted off Amish Mountain. Noah is a great hero and his caring for Ruthie and her children endears him to your heart. A quick read with a great message. Debby Giusti is a go to author for Love Inspired Suspense.
I won a copy on Seekerville. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.

This is another great story by Mary Alford. There is lots of suspense and danger the kind that keeps you at the edge of your seat. The characters were engaging and you really want to know what happens with them. I really enjoyed how the storyline between Amish and non-Amish intertwined. The ending wrapped quite nicely.

If you enjoy quick reads that are filled with suspense then this is the book for you. I couldn't put it down.

A riveting story of intrigue and forgiveness. Amish Ruthie Eicher finds herself widowed with two young children, nine-year-old Simon and six-year-old Andrew. The farm they are left with is rundown and bills are stacking up. To make things worse someone is trying to hurt Ruthie and scare her off the farm. Noah Schlabach, formerly Amish now English, is back to sell his father’s neighboring farm and finds Ruthie injured. Who did it and why? As Noah and Ruthie spend time together will feelings they once shared resurface? An enjoyable page-turning suspense with a surprise ending! It will be a great addition to your to-be-read pile!

Other than the character being Amish, there is nothing about the story that is very Amish - very little of the vocabulary used in Amish communities, no mention of the Ordnung, and very little to make it a faith-based novel. That said, it is an enjoyable, quick read.

I got bored.

It is a mystery and I honestly didn't see who the culprit was. BUT too many scones one like the other. I liked the boys, Simon and Andrew. But the adults clung to the past without once, it seemed to me, seeing what could be. It got old-- really fast.

Not realistic enough for my taste. Too much dramatic action for the characters to have time to develop. Until the epilogue, 99% of this book was negative/anxious situations!

When Noah Schlabach returns to Amish Mountain to sell his childhood home the last person he expects to see is Ruthie Eicher and her two sons alone and terrified. Someone has been sending Ruthie threatening messages, demanding she leave the land, but Ruthie and her boys have nowhere to go. Her late husband and beloved father have recently passed and there's no one to help her. No one except Noah, the secret father of her older son, Simon, who all but abandoned her and the Amish way of life many years ago. Despite the time and space between them, both Ruthie and Noah feel the pull of love and tug of loss as one. But all plans of a reunion have to be put on hold until they can figure out who's after Ruthie and fast.

In many ways, this story is about second chances and not just the romance kind. Sure, Noah and Ruthie are getting a second chance at love but it's more than that. Ruthie is getting a second chance at the dreams she had for herself and Noah is getting a second chance at being a father. It's a sweet story with suspenseful twists and turns but there's something about the way that author, Debby Giusti, writes that makes you fall in love with the idea of 'what if'. I'm not usually a second chance romance kind of gal but I am here for it with these two. I loved watching Noah get to know Ruthie's sons and doing a bunch of Amish man tasks together. I also liked that Ruthie's shame, so to speak, is more about how she married her late husband, Ben and didn't chase after Noah rather than about having a child out of wedlock. That felt refreshing for the genre and context. The mystery elements were great and kept me guessing the whole time. I would recommend this to fans of blended families, second chance romance (duh!) and readers wanting an enticing but quickish mystery. An easy four out of five stars!
