4.5 Sweet Nerdy Stars!

Aww... this one made me smile! Great fast read if you just want to read something quick. This was my third read from this "One Night..." series but by far my fave. We get to check in with the couples from the previous two installments as well. I loved Justin. He's the unassuming, self-conscious guy who's always had a crush on the pretty girl but was always too shy to make a move...until one night! I loved how the conflict here initiated from the hero (Justin) being the one

One Night with the Best Man is the 6th instalment in the One Night Novella series. This one tells Raney's story who is best friends with Anne and Meg from the previous two instalments.

Adams follows the same theme and formula in this novella as the five previous ones but this one plays on insecurities and shows the vulnerable side to both Raney and Justin. I really liked Justin with his intelligence and somewhat

I love this series, but this is sadly the weakest one far and away. The normal strength of the series that Noelle Adams picks the perfect set up for a couple to believably get together in one night. That element just wasn't present for this one, so the dude just seemed like an ass and the woman seemed like a doormat

I have really enjoyed all the books in the One Night series and this one made me smile! Raney meets Justin when wedding plans for her best friend, Anne, are forming. Although Justin is nerdy, Raney had a connection with him. Things were going fine and then one day Justin turns cold and is down-right mean to her. What did she do?? She always tries to do the right thing and to make people happy. She decides to be super nice to him and find out what she did to screw things up. As the wedding ...more

One Night with the Best Man centres around Raney and Justin and Raney's best friends wedding. Rainy's best friend is Anne from One Night with her Boss and Justin is Jake's little brother.

Raney and Jsutin met a few months ago and the wedding details were being planned and things went well to begin with until he suddenly became cold. Raney being a people person and wanting to make everyone happy does not understand

Raney is a people pleaser and cant not stand when people dont like her. So when Justin the best man at one of her best friends weddings starts to act like he doesnt like her, she decides to change his mind. Justin is not only the best man but the grooms brother and he tends to be on the geeky side. He thinks he is not Rameys type so he starts trying to protect his heart. This was a sweet and sexy novella where it seems a miscommunication could end up keeping them apart. Overall it was a good ...more

Raney and Justin are so sweet together. Raney always wants everyone to be happy. They've spent time together for the upcoming wedding of his brother and her roommate (Jake and Anne) but lately he's seemed like he doesn't like her so much.

Raney's finding that she initially liked Justin but didn't think he was boyfriend material but she's taking a second look on the wedding weekend.

Raney is sweet and beautiful, but she's a pleaser and she needs to find a guy who appreciates her for her

I liked it better than the previous short in this "One Night" series. There are some distractingly repetitive lines, but in the end very satisfying and cute read. Also, huzzah for a geekish character who's not portrayed as excessively socially incompetent.

There are some common denominators in the series that bothered me but in this particular case I resented Raney for making it all about herself self on her best friend's wedding, even though she was all "no, I won't say anything, I don't want to spoil her wedding" she would always spill the beans and then everyone was focusing on her problems instead of the wedding.

Inevitable

Of this series of novellas, this story has been my favourite so far. Raney and Justin are so meant to be together but past misunderstandings have held them apart until the wedding of Justin's brother and Raneys best friend. After that things are explosive. Very enjoyable quick read.

I like these short one night stories, they are hot and just make you melt. You usually fall in love with the lead guy because he is just so amazing and falls for the girls hard and fast. I also find a lot of it accurate in regard to the women always in their own heads to much about whether this guy really likes her or is just in it for a quick fling. And they always end happy.

I really like this story. Justin, the groom's brother and best man, is a bit geeky but gets along great with Raney, who is used to date playboys. They hit it off but soon Justin goes cold and she does not understand why. It will all be addressed at the wedding. It made me smile. It's cuuuute

Short fast comfort read with considerable amount of angst, mainly based on miscommunication.

I am not big on angsty reads, but this book is sweet and well written enough that I found it enjoyable.

3.5 stars, I like it.

God this was awful.
I ended up genuinely hating both MC and the story in general.
This was by far the worst in the series.

I've really enjoyed each of the novellas under the One Night theme. Each novella has been just the right length, with a well-developed beginning, middle and end. They're perfectly paced and always leave me satisfied.

The heroine in this story is one of the three roommates from the earlier novellas. They have a great bond and friendship that really comes through. I immediately connected and liked Raney. I don't remember a lot from the previous two books involving all three women at once, but this

I absolutely LOVED Raney. She is spunky, smart (even if she doesn't think so), loyal, personable, emotional, and kind. She is basically a good girl; one you can't definitely help but notice. Justin, on the other hand, is not an alpha male. He is geeky and reserved, but has a quiet strength that, when unleashed, you can't help but fall for.

I enjoyed the interactions between Justin and Raney, because for one, it was just plain hilarious and entertaining. And two, it was eye opening. Raney is a

4.5 Stars!

I truly enjoy stories about weddings, especially when members of the wedding party somehow find their own true love during all the festivities. One Night with the Best Man is all that and more. The main characters live in Malibu, the wedding is being held at a resort in Newport Beach and love is in the air. This is a quick read that I liked very much.

Anne and James are getting married. So naturally Anne's good friend Raney and James's younger brother Justin are in the wedding. The day

My Thoughts (full review):

Every novella in the One Night Novellas series has been super cute! The last one, One Night with her Roommate, became a fast favorite... until this one. I was taken with Raney and Justin and completely adored their non-friendship turned something more. All the novellas have this great quality to them where

I loved this sexy and sweet romance between Raney and Justin. Told from Raney's point of view, she's the type of girl everyone loves having as a friend. Sweet and warm and likeable, but inside a bit insecure, needing people to like her and therefore always trying to smooth the waters. Her view of Justin is that he's a geeky guy, but even though he isn't her type, he's interesting and funny. When they are paired up at his brother and her friend's wedding, the easygoing friendship they had when ...more

This geek is HOT! Two people come together and learn more about themselves. Opening up their hearts allows them to find a passion for life in each other.

Both are at a point in their lives where honesty is key for a truthful and lasting relationship. Their story begins by coming together as best man and maid of honor. They communicate about the wedding over the months but he starts to have feelings for her. A misunderstanding leads him to believe that his feeling are not returned and never will

I liked the story in One Night with the Best Man, it seemed like it had more depth than the other books in this series that I have read, plus I liked the matchup of Justin and Raney the best of the couples so far.

Justin can be flirty, but also a bit standoffish with Raney, but his character also shows great depth (you'll see when you get to his toast). Raney thinks he doesn't like her, and makes assumptions about him and that along with another misunderstanding puts a rift between them...one

So in this one, all the gang is meeting for Anne &Jakes wedding. Raney is having car troubles, so they get Jakes younger brother to pick her up. Raney has met Justin before and thought he wasnt her type at all. You see, Justin is a bit of a nerd, loves quoting Lord of the rings and wearing Comic book shirts. The ride down there is bit awkward but soon Raney gets to know Justin on another level and cant believe she might be falling for him. There is a certain misunderstanding after their ...more

I love these "one night..." series. They are a quick read. Also like dropping in and seeing characters from previous books. Justin the H in this book is classed as a geek but the saying "still waters run deep" could have been made just for him! He's had the hots for Rainy for a while but due to something his brother had said he thought she didn't have any interest in him. Rainy hadn't looked at Justin in 'that' light before as he is so different to any man she had been out with, but as the ...more
