Working together might be the only way to save themselves now ...
A laugh-out-loud tale about friendship and sharing from the bestselling creators of THE LION INSIDE and THE KOALA WHO COULD. Perfect for competitive friends and sibling rivals!
Rachel is a writer of words, drawer of pictures and champion of silver linings. She exhibits widely, writes tirelessly and frequently creates slightly unhinged characters.
Her written work includes children’s stories and poems, clever advertising copy and lots of other stuff besides. Her illustrative work is a smorgasboard of giant, hand-printed poems, mind-bogglingly detailed gouache illustrations and a cacophony of quirky prints and etchings.
She explores the lovliness of words and the magic of pictures, revelling in a world of jam-eating miniature bears and other made-up animals.
Her work aims to capture a free way of thinking - one which makes you feel anything is possible, a feeling all too easily lost with the end of childhood. When we’re all grown-up, sometimes we just need a little nudge to remember it’s been there all along.
*Rachel has also been an air hostess, a garden designer and a lifeguard. She often runs a really long way and was once invited to the selection of the British ultra running team. She also once won a date with Man of the millennium and has been trying to live it down ever since.

No tämäpäs oli positiivinen yllätys!
Rachel Bright never disappoints! If I have to be completely honest though, I did enjoy the one about the lion and the mouse a bit more, but this one was tons of fun as well.
Nedávno pribudla do najroztomilejšej detskej série nová časť, tentokrát o veveričkách, a ja som ju rozhodne nemohla obísť.
This is such a lovely little book, a great one to teach little ones about sharing. I bought this for my niece, who definitely doesn't share, but she's always on the move so wasn't overly interested. I, however, thought it was great! The rhyming kept it flowing nicely. But, what made it for me were the illustrations, they're beautiful!
Lustakas lugu kahest oravast, kes kumbki tahab viimast käbi endale saada. Plusspunktid luulevormi eest - sellist raamatut on mõnus väikesele lapsele lugeda. :)
With its message of sharing and palette of fall colors, I couldn't help but think of Thanksgiving in this story about 2 squirrels who squabble ovwr the last pinecone.
This book is so great, perfect to read-aloud with it's cheeky rhymes and characters, it's a great story that champions friendship and the importance of sharing!
A very sweet book with an important message about the benefits of sharing and choosing friendships over squabbles. The images are lovely and accompany the text well.
This is a funny rhyming story with colorful illustrations. Kids will probably like it. Two squirrels are having problems over a pinecone. Silly and lots of action. Recommended for Grades K-2.
„A&T Publishing”).
This was such a fun story. The book features amazing illustrations by Jim Field. Bright's tale, which has a lovely rhythm and rhyme to it, is just perfectly put together. This is a great story to share with children, to show them the importance of being able to share, and not to be greedy. The writing is just so beautiful as well; just one example would be: "The cool air bit fresh and the mosses grew green. And as autumn edged in and the sky raged red, The sleepiest creatures got ready for bed." I loved this, and I am sure that younger readers would find much to delight in here. Beautiful, vibrant illustrations, with a fun tale, what more could you ask for?
Cyril and Bruce are two very determined squirrels who each want the last pinecone in the forest. Driven by greed and an inability to share, the pair chases the pinecone all the way to a waterfall, where they’re almost met with disaster — until they finally learn to work together. With fun rhyming text and gorgeous illustrations
