After transmigrating into a beast world, Rong Mingshi discovered that the people of this world experienced widespread mania. For example, when their emotions were abnormally agitated, they would become destructive beasts. If their emotions were abnormally low, they would shrink into their young beast form.
There is a type of energy stone that can cure this but it must be hand-carved into the animal form corresponding to the beastman. The more realistic the shape, the better the healing effect and the higher the repeated utilization rate.
In his previous life, Rong Mingshi’s ancestors started as craftsmen who grew their business and became wealthy.
Then a small store suddenly popped up on the Star Network, selling several small sculptures made with superb skill. The effect of the energy stone to soothe emotions could be felt through the screen and stirred up a sensation in the entire empire. However, this store owner was super lazy…
This was sweet from start to finish, it’s a good read fluffy read 🥺 ❤️ I actually wish it was longer that’s why i’m giving it 3 stars, i wanted even more 😭 it also made me lowkey want to carve or something similar, the way they describe it is gorgeous and seeing some of the pictures of carved stones is ❤️
It's not the best-written novel, but I had fun reading it! I never knew what to expect and the relationship between the two MCs was really sweet. Their interactions were hilarious 😂.
The world-building was also quite interesting. There are a lot of details about the process of craving stones, and descriptions of the results. I found it fascinating, but I can understand how it can be boring for some people.
Short, funny, and angst-free, that's all I wanted, and that's what I got with this book.
this was frankly pretty boring? also the relationship was so stupid, they basically didnt actually interact in a way that mattered much and suddenly were in love?? also mc spent most of the time in beast form and the time he spent in human form was just to make out w the love interest which,,,, not so great idk, also the entire “lazy” thing was so ridiculous too lol, furthermore not the biggest fan of these types of characters uh also the entire AI romance stuff?? so weird, hated it. literally made no sense either. aint no way the only autonomous AI that exist r those teo plus ruhr being fucking op af
on another note at least it was short with otherwise plotwise fine enough pacing igoverall a light read
This is a really cute novel. It starts out as a pretty funny story with an interesting premise (a beast has to learn how to carve energy stones so he can become human again). It does become a bit wish fulfilling and pure fluff towards the end, but overall an enjoyable read. I like how all the side characters are relatively developed - especially the intelligent housekeeper. I wish the extra provided a bit more resolution on the leopard's original earth family.
Soft and fluffy. A 100% consensual, respectful and doting romance. All of which I truly needed after the last two terrible novels I've read in a row.
Reminds me a fair bit of "My Vegetative Partner Opened His Eyes in Anger After I Ran Away", though not in a 'copied my homework' way. Just that if you enjoyed one, you'll most likely enjoy the other.
Fastest I've read any books in a fair while, guess I was really desperate for fluff.
He disfrutado muchísimoooooo esta novela.
This is another transmigration novel. I swear I'll read my pending arcs and loans after this one. No more web novels until I get that 80% feedback ratio on NetGalley.😅👊
Rong Mingshi died and woke up in the body of an abandoned teen leopard in an abandoned planet. When he was about to starve to death, a black dragon experiencing mania crashed somewhere near Rong Rong. This is the start of Rong Rong's adventure on a technologically advance fantasy world of beastmen. That's a lot of themes there.😆
Our MC is likeable and it is a first (I think) for me to read a web novel with 'carving' as a main ability in a fantasy world. Love the concept of the magic system and it is quite unique. It was just a bit too detailed for my short attention span.😅✌️
The romance between our MC and the black dragon is a bit too fast for me but the overall vibe of their relationship is okay. It was cute and some tiny nsfw scenes here and there but still acceptable.
The plot is quite lacking for me. The villains were dealt with just like that. I felt like if the ML wanted, he could have dealt with them easily even at the start. And the world was not utilized to its best potential. The ingredients are there but they were not used that much.
I love the epilogue. The , I wish there were more of them in the book.❤️
ceritanya simpel, nggak terlalu banyak konflik, fluffy & sweet.inti ceritanya little panther Rong Mingshi suka sekali bikin patung beastman yg paling dia sukai, yaitu black dragon.setiap ada kesempatan dia selalu bikin patung itu.tapi karena keterbatasan batu energi untuk membuat patung kesukaannya akhirnya dia membuka toko online.karena bakatnya yg luar biasa, patung pahatannya jadi rebutan seantero beastman empire.prioritas utama Rong Mingshi adalah membuat patung black dragon, itu sebabnya dia sering kehilangan fokus saat menyelesaikan pesanan patung yg lain dan sering lupa membuka dan membalas komentar di toko onlinenya.akhirnya seantero beastman empire memberi julukan penjual yg pemalas

Read this whole thing. It was fluff. Boring fluff. I'm just not a fan of half the pair being stuck as a cute fluffy animal for over half the book. Not going to read the author's other work.
The world setting with the beast's mania was actually interesting and I did enjoy the MC's carving skills leveling up. The MC's family drama wasn't big but I did enjoy that plot. Would recommend to anyone who wants fluff and likes beast transformation novels.
Slice of Life vibes with a very sweet main couple. MC is a little dumb but in a nice way and ML generally let's him do what he wants while protecting him along the way. I found the sculpture carving background theme unique and cozy. Worth the read if you're looking for something calming and to turn your brain off to.
4.25 Pretty funny and cute I enjoy a plot about transmigrating into a new world and having great talent in an area (like legendary mw and mecha sc) at least the characters in this one were really noice. I need more of them. That romance went quicly tho, I need deeper books asap ig
The storyline is interesting enough, and the MC and ML are a match. Overall, this story is for those who love fluff, not so much complicated plots, soft and talented MC, and strong and powerful ML, with cute children too. 4.6/5 ⭐️
One of my favorite short romances that's set in an Interstellar age with beast people. The main couple is adorable and the robot nanny is one of my fav characters. sometimes its hard to imagine the carvings but that doesn't detract from the story
Really cute read. Loved seeing the MC display his skills and wow people. I wish i could have seen him in all his carving abilities working w/ his paws.
This wasn't bad and that might just be because Metasequioa has a way of writing (and the translators have a way of translating) that's incredibly readable. The story passes by fast and you don't quite realize that there wasn't a whole lot of substance to it until it's already over. It's ending felt much more developed than Metasequioa's other story, Shh There's a Beast... (which still felt like a slap in the face), and the relationship is cute, but therein kind of lies my biggest problem with it. I will say this is one of the few stories where the main character has been stuck in the form of some type of thing whose whole purpose is to sell cute, in this case a snow leopard cub, and I've actually finished the story instead of dropping halfway for one reason or another but it still hits the same problem the others have, which portrays the MC in an incredibly childish way which somehow makes him inherently sexually loveable to the ML. I could understand if it was just affection and an appreciation for cute because hell, I coo over my cat constantly, but these ML invariably do display sexual/romantic intent towards the "cute" object of their affection. And that IS weird and, on varying levels depending (god, I'm looking at you I'm Not Human) skeevy. In this one, the main character cannot verbally communicate for the vast majority of this story. He can make cute little mewling noises and eventually reaches the stage of baby talk, but full on sentences are beyond him. I swear, about 90% of his lines in this story are "Aoji" because he can't say Aojia's name at first and cutely crying his baby name repeatedly is not something they drop even when he can eventually say his name properly. This is compounded by a repeated emphasis on how adorable and cute the MC is, which are inherently childish traits and they are the only personality that Aojia is exposed to. He does show behaviors that make it clear he's an adult and reasonably intelligent at that (he opens his own online store, sells goods, can carve crazy good sculptures) but the interactions between the MC and ML are all focused entirely on how adorable and cute the MC is, even when he's carving and there's something inherently creepy about the ML falling in love with these types of characters because the ML doesn't really know anything about the actually person beyond they are a cub/plant/kitten/etc that is really adorable (again-a childish trait) and maybe has an interesting quirk that is supposed to help distinguish them from being an actual child (in this case, stellar carving skills). And, for that matter, we as the readers, don't really know much about the MC beyond adorable, can open shops, is an adorable cub, is THE BEST BEAST CARVER EVER OMG, is adorable, is obsessed with Aojia's dragon form, and is, you guessed it, adorable. I will say that it's not nearly as off-putting as I'm Not Human, which revels in treating the MC like a baby but also wanting him to be in a sexual relationship with the ML, but it's still... something.
I know this review kind of became my venting ground for these types of sell-cute stories and I do think it's something important to talk about or I'd remove most of the verbiage, but I would like to end this by emphasizing that this is definitely one of the more palatable of that particular variety. It doesn't drag on and while the MC does spend almost 98% of the story in his cute cub form, most of the romance is characterized by Aojia appreciating the MC's carving skills, calling him his wife, and hoping for him to eventually take human form without undue pressure on him to do so. I can't remember any moments where he pervs on the cub (I've read that too T__T why god) and most of it is pretty cute. The plot flows pretty smoothly. Characters outside of the main couple are pretty one dimensional and even the main CP are thin on personality beyond your regular stereotypes, but it all comes together in a decently entertaining fashion. I do like this story but it's not particularly stand out (aside from being a sell-cute-creature-MC story I actually finished).
Ahhhh! This was such a cute and fluffy read. With just 90 chapters, it's a half-day read.
It was so sweet and pleasant to read this book. The premise of the book is also pretty unique, imo. I really like reading about how protective ML is and it was just too good >_<
However, the short read just makes me hungry for more T^T I'm just glad there was the extras (^-^ hehehe)
