This is the second book in the curves for Christmas collection, Sugar is briefly mentioned in the previous book.
Smith is used to his own company living on the mountain but he’s feeling lonely and makes the trip to town. Having a drink in the local bar he ends up partaking in a poker game where the stakes have never been higher when Sugar is offered as payment. Once she appears he knows that waiting for the one was the right thing to do, she was made for him but he only had her for Christmas Eve, will she want him for longer or is he destined to spend his life alone?
Sugar has lived in the system her whole life, in and out of foster homes the only brother she has is not worth the time of day. Being part of the MC is more important to him than family as he proves when he promises her to another man for Christmas only he’s in trouble playing poker and decides to add her to the poker pot. But Smith is different from what she is used to or what she expects, is it possible that she’s fallen in love so quickly and how can they be together when she’s promised to someone else?
These are great, short and steamy Christmas reads.

A little bit of heartache, two lonely souls searching for an endless love, one unusual night with an unexpected outcome, a winter wonderland, topped off with mind blowing passion and ecstasy that would make the Gods blush and there you have it: Christmas Magic, but sealed with beautiful tears (and yes, that would be from you, the reader).
This book tugged at my heart strings beyond what I could even think possible; and even though I am naturally a hopeless romantic, Frankie Love is truly gifted with an amazing ability to craft a story in such a way, it managed (and with great ease) to make my heart melt repeatedly and insomuch that I was left extremely emotional, and literally speechless.
Beautifully done!🌹

A nice Christmas story.
It's about Smith and Sugar.
She's Candy's friend (from Book 1). Her brother approaches him at the bar and asks him to play poker. He has a carpentry shop. He lives in a cabin up in the mountains and just comes down to town for a bit. He agrees not expecting he'll find the one he's been waiting for his whole life. Her brother places her as his bet and Smith accepts the deal but it's only for the night. Is one night enough? Can he let her go when the morning comes?
It has beautiful epilogues. Loved them.

Este año, es una Navidad oscura, pero Sugar no parece amargada por su situación.

Frankie Love me gusta pero aquí no sé lo que estaba pensando... Bueno, si sé, pumas en vísperas navideñas, más de uno, queriendo comerse a unos malvados moteros.
La historia comenzó interesante, Sugar (fue mencionada en el libro anterior, es la amiga de Candy) es una chica que no conoce una vida mejor que la de su hermano, un motero malo que piensa darla como ofrenda a un jefe del MC. Pero antes, pierde un juego de póker y termina siendo el pago de otro hombre por una noche. Smith, un solitario hombre de montaña que trabaja como carpintero va a un bar y conoce a la mujer de su vida que resulta que es Sugar. Solo quiere alejarla del mundo de su hermano y luego de ganarla en un juego de cartas se la lleva a su cabaña.
La atracción entre Sugar y Smith es instantánea con escenas demasiado dulces y otras calientes.
Estoy habituada al tono cursi y los insta-love en los libros de Frankie Love, sin embargo, este fue un paso más allá de lo creíble: Un héroe virgen de 27 años que hace cunas, una heroína armada, unos moteros que de malos no tienen nada, pumas atacando de la nada, policías tomando chocolate caliente con bastones de caramelo y compromiso acompañado por mimosas y más! DEMASIADO INCREÍBLE!
Lo positivo después de leer esta historia es que me hizo reír y, a pesar de lo ridículo que fue todo, pude ver el espíritu navideño en Sugar y Smith.❄️

Smith ha vivido solo en las montañas lo que parece una vida. Hoy es nochebuena y pasarla solo en su cabaña le parece de lo más triste. Así que no sabe ni cómo termina en una partida de poker en un bar con unos moteros. Y gana más de lo que esperaba...
Como ya he terminado mi meta de lecturas este año hace unos días ahora me dedico a leer lo que más me gusta: libros cortos!!!! 🤣
Para mí es lo más fácil y divertido de leer porque ni son pesados, ni se me hacen eternos, ni encuentro demasiado drama o drama absurdo y siempre siempre me dan un final feliz! Como este libro que lo tiene todo también aunque Frankie todavía no llega a la altura de mis autoras favoritas también se ha puesto en la cola!
Recomendada para pasar el ratito!!!

His sugarplum is book two in the ‘’curves for Christmas’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable festive read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline easy to follow. Whilst playing a game of poker, Smith meets Sugar and knows she is the woman for him. When her brother offers her up as a prize, Smith is determined to win and keep her. Sugar is used to being treated badly. That changes after an hour in Smith’s home. Will Smith and Sugar get their happily ever after?
The chemistry between Sugar and Smith is clear to see and I liked them together. They made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Cute story despite the initial setting. Super Insta-love that was crazy. A 27 year old, alpha male virgin who dirty talked like he was experienced. An MC girl who was sassy yet shy about her body also a virgin, throw in Christmas in a cabin and there's this book. Heat level 🔥🔥. Short & beyond sugary sweet, but good late night reading material.

This was quick, sweet, tragic, steamy, romantic, and filled with new traditions. Especially adored the epilogues. Definitely recommended.

This was a great short story. Sugar's brother is a loser and basically pawns her off to Smith in a poker game. Of course she is upset at first. However, she quickly learns that he is the best thing that could ever happen to her.

Frankie does it again with this sweet and a bit naughty Christmas romance. Smith has been waiting for the one. And when she walks in to the bar he’s at on Christmas Eve he would do anything to make her his. Even winning her in a bet.
This book is super sweet and the story is incredible you can’t help but fall in love with Smith and Sugar.

Smith is playing poker and ends up winning Sugar when her brother bets a night with her in the game. Sparks fly between them and Smith doesn’t plan on letting Sugar go. Sweet and steamy read. I really liked it.

This is an OK short story, but I didn't really believe the couple was in love. They were definitely in lust, but I didn't buy that they were in love. This story gets 2.5 stars from me, rounded up to 3 stars.
Smith and Sugar (and her name is ridiculous, by the way -- especially when he starts calling her Sugarplum), were OK characters, but the story was too short for me to really know if I liked them or not. I like more character development.
I knew that this short story was mostly erotica, so I didn't expect a lot of character development -- or even a believable love story -- but the instalove was just too fast. I believed that they were in lust, but not that they fell in love so quickly.
The age difference between Smith and Sugar bothered me, too. I don't have a problem with age differences if the younger one in the couple is emotionally mature, but I didn't believe that Sugar was -- she just seemed young and very insecure.
If this story is typical of the author's work, I won't be reading anymore of her writing. I have no problem with erotica in romances, but I want a couple's love to be believable, and not just based on lust.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.

This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.

Merry Christmas!
Need something to get you in the holiday mood? Well this is it my lovelies!
Smith is a mountain man, a burly, giant, flannel wearing, wood chopping, bearded mountain man, and a virgin. Smith comes down from his mountain cabin and ends up at a seedy biker bar, playing cards with some rather dangerous bikers. It's a night to kill some time, that all.
Until he sees her.
Sugar is the most beautiful woman Smith has ever seen, and from that very first glance he knew she was meant to be his. Sugar is in a tough spot, her brother is a bad guy, a bad biker guy that is going to use her to gain more power in the MC he is apart of. When her brother runs out of money, he decides to use Sugar as a pawn, collateral in a game of cards.
When Smith wins the hand, he takes Sugar for the night. He wants her, more than he has ever wanted anything in his entire life. Their connection and chemistry is strong and the heat between them even more so, their love grows.
But what happens when dawn comes, when the brother she despises so much comes for her? Is their new found love strong enough? Will Sugar stay?
Every time I read a Frankie Love book, I always end it feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, a little more pep in my step. This book is no different. I love Sugar and Smith, their characters are so deep, you can feel the emotions each are experiencing. The innocence of each of them, the vulnerability, the dear and courage.
Read it, I promise, you won't be disappointed. What a way to start a new Christmas tradition.

Sugar is the most beautiful woman Smith has ever seen, and from that very first glance he knew she was meant to be his. Sugar is in a tough spot, her brother is a bad guy, a bad biker guy that is going to use her to gain more power in the MC he is apart of. When her brother runs out of money, he decides to use Sugar as a pawn, collateral in a game of cards.
When Smith wins the hand, he takes Sugar for the night. He wants her, more than he has ever wanted anything in his entire life. Their connection and chemistry is strong and the heat between them even more so, their love grows.

Every time I read a Frankie Love book, I always end it feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, a little more pep in my step. This book is no different. Smith is a twenty eight year old virgin who has been waiting for the one, just like his parents. One night he goes to a bar to relax and is invited to play a game of poker with three members from a motorcycle club. Smith is winning and it gets to the last game and everyone else is out but Riz and Smith. Riz offers his thick virgin sister Sugar as a prize if he loses. Smith sees Sugar and she is every dream come true for him.
Sugar is used to being pushed around by her brother and is scared that if she doesn't do what he says then she will be abandoned. Smith wins the poker game but says that he will leave the cash but take Sugar as his prize and he is told they will be back to pick her up in the morning. Sugar goes home with Smith and they talk things over and they both lose their virginity on Christmas eve. Smith decides that he wants to keep Sugar forever.
The next morning the MC guys show up but Smith doesn't want to let Sugar go, they all pull guns on Smith but things happen pretty quickly and there are police, ambulance and fire engines arriving and taking the MC guys away. Then Sugar and Smith are able to live happily ever after.

His Sugarplum is about Smith and Sugar, who was first introduced to readers as a friend of Candy in Sleighing Mr. Right, book one of the Curves for Christmas series.
Smith is a rugged "mountain man" who lives alone up in the mountains in a cabin her built himself. On Christmas Eve he goes down the mountain into town to the local bar to be around some people. There he is invited to play in a poker game going on in the back room with some bikers. He ends up winning more than the pot as he wins a night with a sweet virgin named Sugar, as her brother loses her thinking he had a winning hand.
Smith recognizes immediately that Sugar is his "one and only" and he is determined to make a forever with her. She is not so sure as her brother has other plans for her. She is to be a Christmas present to a MC leader to curry favor, which is seems resigned to being. Sugar may be sweet and innocent but she has lived a hard life in foster care and with a brother that really does not care for her. Will she believe Smith that he can protect her and give her what she wants the most............a family and love?
