Great writing & plot development

The art is pretty good as well. The story is keeping me interested. With the slow down with comics distribution, I am exploring different titles and Undiscovered Country is proving to be a hit with me.

4.5 stars. The more I read, the more I am being sucked into this world. It all so intriguing. From the Dr. not being the Dr., the spiral, then that crazy reveal at the end!!!! I need issue 3 like yesterday!!

Well, the team has reached the U.S.A. They were shot down and are now working on how to get a message out. It’s a race as the Destiny Man and Dr. Sam Elgin try to reach the next zone in the United States. Sam knows where the door is, and the insane Destiny Man has the key. We see Destiny Man torturing the pilot Pavel, and learn of one of the many cruel-tortures I’m sure Destiny Man has: climbing the wall.

The group decides to save Pavel. Using Sam as a distraction, they fight some soldiers on giant snail-crayfish and enter the building.

I enjoyed this issue more than the first. The world created in this comic is incredible. The art pops and makes it look so realistic. I’m very impressed. There is a lot of story through the various characters, and I’m excited to see what happens next.

I really dig the character designs in this for the most part. The art in general is actually improving the story quite a bit. I'm not sure how I feel about the reveal at the end though. Daniel seems like one big "I am very badass" trope. On a positive note there are plenty of other characters to get to know. Definitely excited for #3

Another strong issue, but enough exposition on the big picture of the world, I want to see more of the day-to-day life. I mean the warlord and his crew are way more interesting than the heroes at his point.

I'd give this book six stars if I could. The second book is even better than the first and things are heating up even more. I'm super curious about the story and some of the characters development. I can't wait to see where is it going.

First: Holy hell is this an amazing cover to have and look at in person.

Anyway.. After the first issue's wild ride into America, the second takes a moment to fill in some backstory, leaning heavy on the exposition, fitting in just enough action, giving us a bigger view of the overall picture, and still ratcheting up the mystery and wonder.

This issue seems more intent on putting the siblings Graves into focus, and so just as the first issue self-centered around Dr. Graves, this one gives us gives us more of a peek into her brother. New wrinkles are introduced to the larger cast, new characters are added to the mix, and the book throws several stunning visual and narrative reveals at the reader.

The art remains gorgeous, and the colors a stand out that really bring this new world vibrantly, surreally, to life. Special mention should go to the transitions between past and present, which have great narrative and visual cohesion echoing across the transitions, locking them together.

It really feels like the writers have the pulse of what to show, and when, and how to parcel those things out in a satisfying way, which bodes well for the future.

After having been shot down and being hunted, the group decides to go along with the situation, even it it does not make sense. They finally meet the man who sent them the message that triggered the expedition, but he isn't what they expected. Right now, all they can do is play along and attempt to rescue their pilot while at the same time trying to collect a key that supposedly will help them escape their predicament.

On par with the previous issue, this one has the same qualities and the same elements that I personally do not enjoy: supernatural creatures. At least, we get that early in the story, which allows us to know what we are in for. It's still a missed opportunity to tell a credible what-if scenario.

Uncle Sam isn't a stranger to Daniel and Charlotte Graves. He took them willingly from their parents when they were young. Sam needs the key from Destiny, and only Daniel can get it. Daniel breaks into Destiny's moving fortress and confronts destiny only to reveal that he has a mark indicating the he himself is one of Destiny's men.

Things are starting to heat up in Undiscovered Country. The United States looks much different than we once knew. The Devil Man is an intriguing character and the sudden twist has hooked me on the story. I’m excited to see where the next few issues lead to!

This was much better than the first issue. The world building is vast and well done with characters beginning to come to life.

Can't wait for the next issue.

A good follow up, and introduction to Daniel. I can't wait for his sister to find out what he's done.

A rare gem

Today dystopian tales are done-a-dozen, but this one still somewhat special. Graphics is marvellous and characters are bizarre. I wonder what happens in the next one...
