Once upon a time I made a deal with the devil. It turns out I like playing in the dark. Over the years, I’ve become someone I’m proud of, someone dangerous.

I’ll never be as dangerous as Malone, though. She’s one of the most feared leaders in Carver City, and her reputation is more than earned. Years ago, we had a single night together and she’s ignored me ever since.

Genre: F/F Romance
Type: Standalone book 6 of 6 from Wicked Villains series
POV: First Person – Dual (Female)

For years Aurora only had one thing she craved the most - to avenge her mother and for what she lost. When the opportunity came knocking, she thought it was time for her to end it once and for all. But Malone was not exactly what she thought would be and that could potentially derail her plans.

I’ve been looking forward to this one because I’ve been looking to read more F/F Romance.

this is a series of seven books (6 actual novels plus a collection of short stories and additional scenes) and I am not even gonna tell you how fast I read all of them… spoiler alert: incredibly fast ;) but who would know how much I needed in my life a dark, contemporary, erotica retellings of Disney villains getting their happy endings with lots of BDSM on the way… ;) not me, that’s for sure… honestly, I am shocked by how addictive this series is… and I am totally blaming it on the amazing writ ...more

A great end to the series! Malone and Aurora have had some enmity between them all this time and I was so ready to learn more and see how they’d go from enemies to lovers. Except…this is one-sided enemies to lovers, as Malone doesn’t hate Aurora. She just doesn’t want to be distracted by her and thinks a two week assignation will give them a chance to work out their chemistry and then move on. LOL. Meanwhile, Aurora thinks this will be her big chance at revenge and decides she’s finally going to ...more

For nine years, Aurora has been a popular submissive at the Underground. After accepting a deal with Hades many years ago, her contract is about to expire, but she accepts a two-week assignation while still under his protection. During this time, Aurora will have to combat her longstanding feelings toward Malone who is known to be a cold and calculating territory leader in Carver City.

Queen Takes Rose is the final installment in the Wicked Villains series, and I am so thrilled to have been able to finish this series (although I really need to read Sabine Valley soon--this book really teased that world for me) I will admit that this one took some courage to read, because even though this relationship has been teased throughout the whole series, I just wasn't sure if it was something I could do or I knew I needed to be in the right mood for this one. Revenge plots can work that ...more

SO.. I'm going to need more books where edging is used as a plot device? K? Thanks!

It’s no surprise that I am absolutely obsessed with the Wicked Villains series by Katee Robert! Y’all. These. Books. Are. Hot!! 🔥
If you aren’t familiar with this series.....WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? 😮 This series follows Disney villains getting their HEAs and it is everything! 👏🏻 Even though you can enjoy them without having read previous books. I would highly recommend reading this s

I've enjoyed this series so much.Katee's books have become somewhat of a guilty pleasure to me, and the perfect allies during a reading slump.
Aurora and Malone were my most anticipated pair. After all, they were the first f/f relationship I've read from Katee.
We've practically known Aurora since the beginning, building up tension about what had happened between her and Malone. And we finally got to understand why! Their relationship developed quickly, which I did not mind, considering Malone wa

This the last book in this series but this isn't really a series that needs a big conclusion. There is also a short story collection that I'm going to read but that's super short and those stories didn't come out all at once or anything. This last book was fine and I liked that we got a FF romance finally but there wasn't really enough tension for me.

This is supposed to be a sort of enemies-to-lovers but I just found a lot of it to be kind of dull. There just was enough actual anger for me, or

Soooo.... this one wasn't my favorite. And man, I hate saying that. Its still a Katee Robert, and its still better than most, but it didn't blow my mind the way past entries in the series. Maybe its just because this one has been being built up to for so long, or that I don't want the series to be over. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I just wasn't vibing with it.

I also think part of it for me was that I don't like Malone that much. I adore Aurora and I have loved her in every previous book
This book felt a bit similar to The Sea Witch, the previous book in the series, and I say that only because both deal with revenge plots. I guess book 2 Learn My Lesson was also a revenge plot, but I felt the plot really dealt more with Meg/Hades’ “marriage in crisis” rather than Hades’ plot against Zeus.

Aurora has been a fun cameo character in all previous Wicked Villains books. She went from being the “perfect sub” to Meg’s second in command and a bit of a rebellious brat, one who threatens t

This was absolutely my favorite, and wow, what a way to end a phenomenal series! More thoughts to come when my brain isn’t soup, but WOW!

So this had more of a plot than the others in the series which I really liked. It was leading up to the possibility of a really cool climax but that didn’t happen, things sort of simmered for a while but never came to a boil. The relationship was fine, there was nothing that was making we route for them but also nothing that made me not want them together. I am happy that we got away from the repetitive pattern of the last couple books in the series. This seems to be the end of the seri

Queen Takes Rose is the final installment the Wicked Villains series and a story that I have been most anticipating ever since we were introduced to Aurora and Malone. It's funny because Sleeping Beauty was always my least favorite fairytale, with Princess Aurora being my least favorite princess, so I'm surprised that I've become so fond of Aurora in this series.

Moving on, while I enjoyed

I AM FREEEEE. I'm so happy to be done this series, you have no idea.

This is... just like the others!! They always make a timeline of how long they have to be with the person and then they fall in love in 3 days like why all these extra steps? Aurora takes a 2 week deal with Malone so she can kill her in the timeframe and obviously that isn't what happens so why are we pretending? What is the point of the plot in any of these books when it's literally all the same oh my god.

This relationship is p
1/27/21 Reread— this reread in audio was EXCELLENT, the narration by Jenny blew my socks off!! I do think the ending felt a ~little~ rushed but I love this book nonetheless

Gonna take some time to write a cohesive review, but I found this to be a powerful conclusion to one of my favorite series❤️❤️❤️ so sad to see it ending!!!

The last installment to the Wicked Villains series. A spicy re-telling of Sleeping Beauty with a twist. We follow Malone and Aurora, making their way around each other knowing that they have an ulterior motive.

Their relationship dynamics was not as intense as the other characters in the books but there were still something dynamics that was mildly out of there. This book is a female to female romance, which is amazing because it would be my first novel to read that has two females falling for

This was such an amazing end to the Wicked Villains series. There has been such a build up to Aurora and Malone’s book and it did not disappoint. They had major hate to love chemistry and like all other books in this series I flew through it. There was kink, there was steam, there was some setting up for Katee’s next series, and ultimately there was a happily ever after. I’m just addicted to this woman’s brand of smut!

Queen Takes Rose - the final book in the Wicked Villains series. And what a finale! It's raw, dark and emotional. It truly is the best ending to one series and the best introduction to the upcoming series, Sabine Valley. Malone's character is layered and complex, and while we already saw pieces of Aurora in previous books, there was still so much to her to unravel. It was my first f/f read, and it did not disappoint. Malone just took the number one spot as my favorite Villain in this series (clo ...more

Malone; she’s one of the most feared leaders in Carver City, and her reputation is more than earned.
Aurora is all beauty but no one seems to see the thorns underneath the protective image she gives off.
One night together years ago kindled a fire between them. Now sparks are going to fly when Malone contracts Aurora out for 2 weeks not knowing that Aurora has motives far beyond just games to play in the playroom.
📚 Katee Roberts Wicked Villain series has become such a guilty pleasure of mine
What a great return to form after the last disappointing book.

Aurora and Malone's story has been teased throughout the entire series and I've been eagerly awaiting it. What's the backstory there? Why is there a little bit of animosity between them? Why are other character constantly teasing Malone about Aurora? I had to know.

While I did really enjoy this book and loved the pairing of Aurora and Malone, I was a little bit sceptical that (view spoiler)

It’s a 3.5 star this time.

Okay I love Katee Robert, she writes amazing very spicy romances. I would highly recommend this Wicked Villains series in you’re into this kind of thing.

I must say this is my least favourite for the six books. The relationship and interactions between Malone and Aurora felt a little flat.

But don’t get me wrong, it was still so good! The spicy scenes were really spicy. Aurora’s brat energ

I was both excited and sad for Queen Takes Rose. Excited because I love this series and have always looked forward the next book and sad because it’s the last book in the Wicked Villains series. I read the first book of this series almost exactly a year ago and endings always leave me with a bittersweet feeling. I did enjoy this book though!

Starting off with I did not like Aurora. That being said I really liked the relationship formed between Malone and Aurora. I also loved getting to know more about Sabine Valley. Which was the real draw here. At least for me. I felt like there was a lot of buzzing of other characters that was unnecessary but... I also feel like we saw no one but the cast of Lesson Learned and no one else once their book is done. Which is a bummer as I think we lost a lot of potential plot as well as some nice cha ...more

I originally wasn't going to rate this book because I thought the book was something different than it is. That's my fault and not the author. I thought the plot of this book being "revenge" would play a large factor, and I was more so excited to see a long drawn out enemies to lovers based on Aurora. This is actually more so erotica with some plot. My fault for not looking more into the book.

I ended up settling for 3 stars because I do think it was executed pretty good for what the author want

Unfortunately, I did not love this book as much as I loved her other books. I found myself skimming the parts that I didn’t care for. It is unfortunate because I LOVE this series. It is one of my favorite erotica series of all time. This was just a miss for me
