A Sweet Romance Christmas Collection

Rate this book
Fall in love with four heartwarming sweet romance Christmas books by bestselling romance author Jean Oram.

Enjoy a humorous workplace romance between two enemies who realize the one they’re looking for is the one right in front of them! Start with EGGNOG AND CANDY CANES:

Sometimes enemies make the best boyfriends.

Nurse Katie Reiter’s nemesis, Dr. Nash Leham, is back in Blueberry Springs and he came for one thing—Katie.

Will their battles for control turn into regretted mistletoe kisses? Or will Katie allow her enemy—the one man she’s always trusted—to help her family during a snowstorm crisis…and in the process find what she’s always been seeking—a happily ever after?

What about falling for the boss? Escape to Indigo Bay where romance happens at the beach wedding of the holiday season in SWEET HOLIDAY SURPRISE:

Rule Number One: Never date the boss.

Given Alexa’s crash and burn history with office romances, it should be an easy rule to follow. Then again, her rules have never gone up against Cash Campbell.

When the two attend a wedding in the dreamy beach town of Indigo Bay, they begin to wonder why they ever bothered following the rules. Because sometimes breaking the rules is the best way to discover the love of your life.

Love a good snowed-in story? Two opposites fall in love on Christmas Eve, but it’s not all sunshine and roses for these two in FALLING FOR THE FIREFIGHTER:

One blizzard. Two opposites. And…mistletoe?

Josh Carson has a big secret and so does Simone Pascal.

The last thing Josh needs is to try and save a hard-headed woman in a snowstorm. And yet, that’s just what he ends up doing as Simone pushes the boundaries of her own independence. Both have plans and they don’t include falling for each other. But when the snowstorm forces them to work together, they come close to revealing their innermost secrets. Will the two come to terms with their true selves in time to snatch their happily ever after?

I love shorter stories put together for Christmas. They are perfect for the busier time of year. You can read one, but the book down and then go back later and start another. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment that is sometimes hard to achieve when you still have so much to do!
All four of the stories were short, sweet romances centered around Christmas. I really enjoy Oram's writing and her HEA's.

Four Romance Stories set around Christmas time, in one book, some longer, some more like short stories.
Likeable characters, nice plots, and a good narration style make this a nice read over several days. What I personally did not like were the protagonists being so unrealistic (all rich or getting there, all too good to be true, or getting there etc.), and some of their reactions to events therefore seemed a bit farfetched. This is just personal taste and in no way a reflection on the author, on the contrary: if not for the narration and the plots, I would most likely have put these aside and not finished them.

Eggnog and Candy Canes
A very sweet holiday story. Nash and Katie certainly had their ups and downs. I really enjoyed the banter between these two. It was very sweet how things turned out.

Sweet Holiday Surprise
What a fun holiday story. Love how Alexis and Cash are outsmarted by his aged Uncle. Who would have thought a joke would go so far? No spoilers.

Falling for the Firefighter
This story is a real-life example of not judging a book by its cover or a person by their looks or persona. Also, it shows that people change as they mature. A excellent story with a moral.

Mail Order Soulmate
I loved this story; at the beginning it said that this story would have spoilers to the story it came from. But I had not read that book and reading this, spoilers and all, makes me want to read that book.

This has some cute (very, very sweet) stories. I loved their length, and loved the idea of showcasing multiple series'. While I am happy I picked this up for free on bookbub, dare I say, they may have been written a little too saccharine for me. Still, I could see others truly enjoying these stories, and I may buy a few of the longer works written by Ms. Oram in the future. The excerpt from "Whiskey and Gumdrops" really caught my interest.

Christmas happy stories

Loved these Christmas stories. They added a boost to my spirits during the holidays and especially on a cold rainy day. Well worth reading even the shorter stories. Made you want to read more of the author’s stories.

I'd read one of these before, the other 3 were just meh. Too short, not enough actual story, all over the map with actual story, and not very enthralling. They're either prequels or sequels to existing books she's written.

Sweet Christmas

I really liked the first story and the short stories. The smoke jumper story had a lot of bickering between the two main characters. I detest bickering. However, it did end with no more bickering, so I did enjoy the ending. Thank you, Jean!

This was a bit disingenuous… as they’re actually just 2 short stories and several “sneak peeks” of other books but not the full story. They were okay but I felt like you had to read something else first to be in on the backstory.

ok read

Nothing really wrong with this “collection “ but I wouldn’t call it that. It says four but there are only two. Nothing really exciting in the first book. I didn’t read the second. It was just okay.

Four stories, four ratings. I found the quality varied, and what Oram considers sweet varies considerably from what I do.

A Sweet Romance

I really enjoyed the first story and looked forward to the next ones. However there was a time lapse between stories and I kind of lost interest. Sorry!

Cute collection of stories that are Christmasy/Wintery. Fairly easy to read. Some I felt dragged on a bit and others were a good length.

Loved this book

I read this book and it gave me an inside of what each series is about. I loved the story about Josh (JC) and Simone. And about Tigger and her fairies. And the best part of this book was the letter in the back to Santa.
Loved this book and can not wait to read the rest of the series..
Thank you

I loved these stories and found it easy to snuggle up and lose myself in them. I couldn't choose a favourite if I tried.
The perfect read for a cold winters day.
