I thought this dangerously handsome, rugged, and sexy Alpha was my savior. But when he tosses me over his muscular shoulder and carries me off into the night, I realize just how wrong a girl can be.
He has a dark past.
He’s hunted by a mysterious organization.
And now they are hunting me too. They say they’re going to transform me into the perfect mate. They say they’re going to make me Project Omega. I thought I was being rescued.
I was wrong.
This M/F omegaverse romance is the second book in the Primal Alphas series. While the stories in the series are connected, each book can be read as a standalone. There are no cliffhangers, no cheating, and an HEA every time!
LOVED IT! AS GOOD AS THE FIRST, BUT WAY MORE SPICIER IN ITS OWN WAY.
GRIFF certainly made an impression when he popped right into the Alaskan bar wearing nothing but his birthday suit and sort of rescued MIA from a bunch of big bikers, who happened to be mauling her. Having escaped from the facility, he was desperate to make a long run for it but first he needed clothes and food. Taking MIA with him was never part of the plan but they were soon stuck together and the attraction between them? YUM. MIA initially was just a normal human until they were both captured by the Facility people and MIA got turned into a delicious Omega. Let's just say mating between them takes a whole new level, and the fact that GRIFF got his dick enhanced to mimic a dog's? I have to admit, that's my favourite part. Adds the primal into the animal mating instincts.
OVERALL it was pure smut, but I enjoyed the emotions between the characters. While it was insta love, it wasn't the kind I'd love to hate on. Can't wait for the next installation! Omegaverse authors are so hard to find in abundance!
Mia knew these bikers were trouble when they came into Moose’s Tavern and slammed a shot glass to the floor, demanding more whiskey. As she carries a tray of shot glasses to their table, one of them backs into her and knocks the tray from her hands, whiskey dripping on their leader. He makes lewd comments on her butt, but lets her go back to get more whiskey. As she approaches with fresh glasses and a bottle, two other bikers grab a female customer, who foolishly didn’t leave when she could, and they try to force themselves on her. Without thinking, Mia swings the bottle and knocks one of the attackers out cold. The tavern owner does nothing at all. He owes the biker leader $10,000, so they put a price on Mia to purchase her from him. Saying he loves it when a woman fights, Scar is definitely surprised when Mia accommodates him – and kicks him as hard as she can between the legs! But when he can finally stand again, he grabs a knife and holds it to her throat, ready to slice down her t-shirt in a rage.
A loud voice yells at them to stop! A tall, naked, powerful man stands in the doorway! Griff is an experimental Alpha who has escaped from an evil doctor in charge of a top-secret research facility hidden in the wilderness. Griff rescues Mia and throws her over his shoulder to run. But the facility is able to capture him again and they decide to take Mia as well to use in their project! She can become the perfect mate if she survives. Will Griff be able to escape again and save Mia? Or are they both doomed this time?
This was a very good story with great characters. I loved the feisty Mia who was willing to fight for the other woman, despite knowing she could not win against all the bikers. She and Griff were a good combination, and the reader will enjoy their interactions. Grab your copy and see if they ever get free!
Mia dropped out of medical school after four years of college to follow her boyfriend to Alaska, but six months later he left her and moved in with another woman. Mia is still stuck in Alaska living paycheque to paycheque. Then one night some bikers came into the bar she was working in. They started to get out of control and before she knows it, the head biker has a knife up to her face threatening her. Then suddenly, a naked man walks into the bar and before they know it, all the bikers are out cold.
Griff was a serviceman who was signed up into an Alpha program that the government had set up with a deranged professor who was working with doctors to create the best form of man and woman to be stronger, faster and better able to be used as weapons. Griff escaped and made his way to the bar to take one of the bikes from the MC group terrorising the bar.
Griff rescued Mia but took her with him to help her get away but to also help sew up his wounds. The Facility people capture Griff, but now take Mia to be his omega. They alter Mia physically as well and try to mate them so the professor can create the perfect alpha who he can train and control totally to do everything he says.
But things don’t go as planned, other alphas and omegas escape the facility and destroy the labs and kill the professor. They all escape and have their happily ever after.

This m/f omegaverse romance was super enjoyable. I enjoyed it more than the first novel in the series, and I enjoyed that one quite a bit. The sex scenes were sizzling hot and this one was action-packed from start to finish. I enjoyed how protective the hero was of the heroine and how the heroine fell in love with his honorable heroic qualities. The heroine also was able to brutally kill the scientists threatening to kill her fetus. I always enjoy it when the author of a romance novel lets the heroine get her own revenge on those who mistreat her. I loved the development of the love and mating bond between the hero and heroine, and that this novel was fantasy fulfillment for me in several different ways, with the heroine being mated to an honorable, hot super soldier who gave her amazing orgasms and the fact that the heroine got her own violent revenge on her own tormenters. I also enjoyed the epilogue showing their HEA with baby on the way. This novel scratched all my itches.

The characters were authentic and believable, their emotions intense, and the story line both horrific and dramatic. by sewsummore
Griff had escaped from the Facility when he heard a woman scream, Mia was the barmaid and had been attacked by six bikers and Griff knew he would have to save her. She was a little woman with the heart of a lion and when he left he took her with him. However, he was soon captured and not only did they return him to the facility they took her there as well. His protection of her mate her the ideal woman to be turned into a modified Omega, perfect for him to impregnate. This is the second book in the series, when Griff is transported off site, the transport vechicle was attacked by a rogue Alpha. Griff was released and with the help of the rogue Alpha they returned to rescue their mates. This was an enthrawling paranormal story based on inhumane experimental treatment, turning normal men into wild Alpha beast, tamed only by their omega mates. The characters were authentic and believable, their emotions intense, and the story line both horrific and dramatic.

I have got to tell you. When I read the first book in this series, I thought "Wow, what a great new twist the omegaverse genre, but can she do it again?" Well, the answer is YES, yes she can. Great world-building with a unique take on what I think is a difficult genre. There are a lot of picky readers (I should know, I'm one of them) in this genre that will tear a book apart, but I really think that this is a solid book and series. This isn't your usual Omegaverse book. These are characters that started off human then were experimented on. Though it may not fully fall into the "Omegaverse", I think the character "display" enough of the characteristics to qualify (and not just the author calling them "Alpha or Omega"). The characters grow on you as the plot develops and before you know it by the end, you can't wait to learn about the next Alpha experiment. You won't regret giving it a chance.

Mia is cornered by six bikers when a huge naked man saves her. Mia got a job as waitress in the run down diner after the man she was with dumped her in this out of the way Alaskan town and she sleeps on a cot out the back of the diner. A group of six bikers come in and are yelling at Mia to get more drink then the start harassing a young couple touching and pawing the young woman and punching the man when he tries to defend her. Mia loses her temper and hits the the biker with a bottle she was carrying and the biker falls to the floor. In the stunned aftermath the couple run out and get away. Then the biker surround Mia intending ti assault her. Suddenly a huge naked man enters and beats all the bikers unconscious.

What an absolutely amazing book. Full of action, hope, suffering, fighting spirit and romance. It totally catches your attention and keeps you hooked until the end. So many twists and turns. I give this book a definite recommendation!!
Mia works in a bar trying to get enough money to leave town. Not easy. Then one night so bikers come in. Just as they are about to hurt her, Griff shows up looking for keys to a bike. Griff just escaped from the Facility, with no memory of the past, just the horror of what he has suffered. He save Mia and then takes her with him, to patch him up. Then the wranglers catch up......

This book hooked me form the beginning and is an awesome book and a twist on the omegaverse genre. The story line and characters were amazing and I couldn't stop reading until the end. I loved Griff and Mia and watching them grow through out the book, they were a good combination. There's lots of action, drama, suspense, chemistry and a sizzling romance you don't want to miss! I can't wait to read more form this author!

Mia and Griff. Such a wonderful read. Full of suspense, action, fighting, adventure and especially Alpha Male steam. Everything you look for in a book by Lizzy Bequin. This is another of her Primal Books. Mia and Griff and wonderful characters. Mia goes through all of the emotional gambits as she finds out more about Griff. Griff is a typical Alpha Male, all testosterone. Sometimes you just want him to beat on his chest and yell like Tarzan. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Love the story of Mia and Griff. From bartender to running away with a nude Superman type of Alpha. Character build and memories forgotten to avoid the pain only to find it again. Running in Alaska would be a little cold but Griff could help that issue. A crazed professor for a villain in the “Faciliy” hidden in the woods is definitely a page turner. HEA no cliffhangers and cameos from another book. COOL.....

I absolutely LOVED this book. This omegaverse story was well-written and full of action from start to finish, both in and out of the bedroom. HOT steamy scenes, great action, suspense, and a tension filled build of epic proportions with the main story line and the evil Facility. Soooo good! Fairly new genre for me but this was so well done. I'm a definite fan. Now I wanna go and read the first book too.
Book two of the Primal Alphas series a well written story with a very good storyline. This is Griff and Mia’s story which I enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is quite an interesting read. There’s Project Alpha and Project Omega, but I dont think this is like an omegaverse, more like an alpha and his mate. Anyway, I find the story enjoyable and made me curious about the otherwise Project Alphas and Omegas.

Really loved Griff and Mia! Loved the fight with the bikers! Loved it that the cowardly Moose character got his! Of course, I am the type of person who cheers when the cowardly characters get what they truly deserve; I guess I am just the violent type. :)
This second book was more 'science-y' than the first and moved the overall series plot right a long. It answers some of the questions about the 'knot' and how that occurred and some physicality aspects of the Omega also, as well as the nesting aspect.
Smexy times were very smexy! Though because the story was well done and interesting, the fact that I didn't feel that there were a lot of them, which in my opinion is unusual for the Omegaverse genre, can be overlooked. The ones that were there moved the plot and story a long and just weren't thrown in for filler.
This book was a little darker because we got to experience the villain more - and the things that they were doing and more importantly willing to do to these people made you want their destruction. That's a true villain, when the reader wants them to die a bloody death. I liked that about it!
But the way that Griff and Mia ended up truly caring about each other was heartwarming. I really liked the way that he liked her even before all of her changes came about! I also liked it that she is pursuing her interests outside of her 'nest' with Griff. The Omegas in this series are more human and less animal-instinct driven. It is one of the things I really like about the series so far.
This was an excellent read and I highly recommend it! Onto Book 3!
Wow what a read. Lots of thrills and the characters were very well developed. Storyline had me gripped throughout. Fab read I recieved a free copy and this is my honest review
Not as good as the first book in series. I like the tie in to book one and there were some hot scenes between the male/female leads but over all this book felt empty. C-
I had a little bit of an issue with this one. When it came to Primal Urges, I felt like the story was a bit short but that it was a nice start to a premise and plot. It was like an introduction to a version of Omegaverse that I hadn't read before (personally). Now, we know that the plots of Primal Urges and Primal Impulse entertwine with each other and that a part of it goes through the same events at the end.
When it came to Primal Impulse, I felt a bit...bored? I found that the plot was TOO similar to Primal Urges. Too many of the descriptions/events/sentences/paragraphs reminded me of the first story. Almost sometimes like a copy/paste of the first book. I noticed that because I read the books right after the other, so everything was still fresh in my head.
I didn't feel much of a connection between Mia and Griff. And I think I prefered Allegra and Gareth's situation better. There was a sort of mystery around them that I liked, and there was also a little plot twist that was really nice and appreciated near the end. For Primal Impulse, the 'plot twist' was too similar
Primal Impulse wasn't a bad book, and certainly deserves a 3.5/5 stars on its own (as a standalone) but when I've read Primal Urges first, I had to drop my rating considerably due to the reading experience being underwhelming. and feeling repetitive. The ending wasn't quite up to my standards. It felt rushed, repeated and a little bit corny in certain parts.
I kinda just hope that the next book will be different and original.
Not a bad book but not a great book either. Griff escapes from the Facility where he has undergone experiments to make him into a super soldier. He meets Mia, who is a bit down on her luck having ended up in a small Alaskan town having followed her loser boyfriend.
Chaos ensues and Griff saves Mia from a bunch of bikers. There’s some insta-lust between the two. Needless to say the bad guys capture them. Griff and Mia go through some bad stuff and emerge as a couple on the other side.
The plot is one I’ve read before in a couple of other books. It was a bit unbelievable that the recovery from the experiments on the two would be damn near instantaneous. If you can suspend some of that disbelief it’s not a bad book.
If you like a giggle and a sexy omega and alpha story you must read these stories. This is not the first series I have read by this author but they just get better. This one is based at a facility that is trying to breed super soldiers, but like most things nothing goes to plan.
Loved loved loved it! The dynamic between Mia and Griff just 😘🤌 the spicy scenes oh my 🥵🌶
Oh griff, a tattoo covered ex military protective alpha sign me up 😩
I definitely liked this one more than the first one. It didn’t feel rushed like the first book and gave a more in-depth back story to the alpha/omega experiment.
I loved Mia....a tough, fiery, feisty chick not afraid to fight. Griff was all primal and all Alpha. I loved their chemistry and interactions. This book was full of action with a great pace and flow .

But by the end I really enjoyed the story I had to skim over some of it because it didn't hold my interest but all in all I would recommend it to KU subscribers
To the alpha/omega project! In love with these amazing warriors and their gorgeous mates! I wished to know more especially about their alpha and omega born off spring! Can’t wait for the next one!
I have read the whole series so far...but not in order and all I can say is I REALLY hope there is more to come. I love this series. It fits the genre but has some little twists that make it unique. Gimme more!
Griff is an Alpha and he escapes from the Facility. He reacues Mia from a rough biker bar and claims her as his mate. They are both recaptured and taken back to the Facility. The crazy doctor there wants them to breed so he can take the baby and make his own Alpha army. Good ending
I've read this series before and I'm not sure why Amazon doesn't know and list it 🤔. I enjoyed it immensely though, although I skimmed though places 😉. Thanks again Lizzy, I'll check and see if I've read the next one too 🤓.
Mia is in a dead end job working at a sleazy bar. Griff just escaped the Facility and goes to the bar and takes care of the problem. They take off together. She knows nothing about Griff but soon finds out the hard way. Read on to find out how it all ends. Good read.
