With her only son still single, Mrs. Claus is rolling up her red sleeves and playing matchmaker. With a little advice from Cupid and a list of potential brides, she’s convinced a dash of magic will get the snowball rolling. There’s just one problem, Nick isn’t looking for love. All he wants to do is fill his father’s boots as he prepares to take over as Santa Claus.
While Mrs. Claus is scheming away, Nick meets Heather, a charming artist with a giving heart and a loving smile. Preparing for her first Christmas alone, Heather is looking for adventure. Nick becomes a kindred spirit as they both remember what it’s like to live in the moment. Just as they think they found a fairytale romance, Nick discovers his mother’s magical meddling.
With Christmas Eve quickly approaching, Nick must decide if his love for Heather was the real magic all along or if it was just the work of Cupid Claus?
This is a magical, fun, festive romance with Santa’s wife, Carol, determined to play Cupid for their only son - with hilarious consequences that could have ruined it all for him!
When her close friends’ children start marrying and having children, Carol starts to question her role at the North Pole and scheming on helping her son, Nick, find his own HEA. Every year he goes to spread Christmas cheer amongst some less fortunate families but he’s shocked when his mother decides to join him. She, meantime, has enlisted Cupid’s help in identifying possible partners for Nick and is determined to help him meet them and, hopefully, fall in love......
This is a lovely story of a Mum worrying about her son, feeling unsure of her role in life and making some serious blunders even though her intentions were good. There are some truly magical moments in this story as Carol and Nick help others by spreading Christmas cheer. Heather is a great character, too. Her backstory is sad but Nick helps bring joy and love back into her life in this heartwarming festive read. Get ready for elves, mischief and meddling as well as magical reindeer journeys and love in this delightful festive romance.
i requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.
This book was delightfully adorable and so perfect for the holiday season. Magical and uplifting, and will no doubt put you in the Christmas mood.
Heather and Nick..... Nick is the only son of Santa Claus and due to take over the family business sometime in the near future. Nick is all work and no play which is exactly how he wants it. He is very serious about being the best Santa he could be so there is no time for relationships. Unfortunately, Mrs. Claus does not agree. According to her, Nick should be married with children by now. And so she, as well as her dear friend Cupid, interferes a bit. When Nick finds out about his mother's meddling, things take a serious turn. Will Nick find his happily-ever-after? Can he trust his own feelings for Heather weren't influenced?
Even without Mrs. Claus meddling, I felt a strong natural connection between Nick and Heather. I enjoyed the slow burn romance that developed between the two and how they both were complex characters that needed something or someone special in their lives.
As usual, I won't go into details but I will tell you if you choose to read this delightful, fun, and wityy romance, you won't be disappointed.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)
For anyone who says that Santa isn't real doesn't know the whole story. They need to read this book and see and feel the magic. He is real and I just spent a whole evening reading about him and his family.
Chris is Santa Claus and his wife Carol is Mrs. Claus, their son Nicholas will be the next Santa Claus when Chris retires.
Nicholas has been improving things around the North Pole, making the toys by machines now, and just updating things and Carol feels that she is not needed anymore. When Mrs. Claus feels she isnt needed she tends to get in a little bit of trouble.
Every year Nicholas picks a town to go to and spread a little Christmas cheer. The town he picks needs more food for the mission and while he is helping out he meets a young lady named Heather. Unknown to him his mother has picked out three women she would like to see her son meet and maybe fall in love.
A really cute story that I just couldn't put down.
This book was so freaking cute! It's over 100 degrees right now in California and this book was exactly the Christmas in July sort of book that I needed. It was straight out of a Hallmark movie and I absolutely loved every minute of this book.
Heather and Nick are both such caring, thoughtful, giving individuals, I loved watching their journey unfold. AND there was some super awesome magic tied into the book and some lore that made me love this all the more. Can't wait to read other books by these authors!
Every mother wants their children to find a special person to share their life with so it's no surprise that Mrs. Claus wants to help her son find his. Getting a little help with this from her friends is pretty common. But when they are Cupid and Mother Nature and all of them use magic, it's not so common.
Mrs. Claus (Carol) got a few names of possible matches from Cupid and set out to make sure Nick meets the women. Once they meet, nature will take its course. He will fall in love with one of them and give Carol the grandchildren she has always dreamed of. Yes, she jumped the gun on that, along with several other things; messing up some stuff along the way. But her heart was in the right place.
This book will have you smiling, laughing, swooning, and mainly believing in the magic that is Christmas. It will bring you the perfect mix of humour, heat, and all the feels and emotional connection to characters that will come to life.
I received this arc in exchange for an honest review. This was a cute and original holiday romance with a dose of magic. The book opens with Carol Kringle wishing her son Nicolas would find a girl to marry and give her grandchildren like her best friends. Nick’s dad is Santa Claus, aka Chris Kringle and his mom Mrs. Claus. He is back at the North Pole after graduating college in Alaska. He is being prepped to take over his dads job as Santa Claus. Unfortunately he is alone, he has never found a girl to love and make her his wife. All 3 of the Kringle’s have magical powers that allow them to do a lot of things. However if they stay away from home for too long the powers weaken. Carol met Chris in college and he shared his secret. She loved him and gave up her old life to live at the North Pole and take on her role. She is feeling restless as so many of the tasks have been automated by Nicolas that she feels she no longer has a part.
Nick goes down to the mainland USA and help out in a town that could use some holiday magic before his Christmas duties begin. Carol talks to her friends Cupid and Mother Nature for some suggestions of ladies Nick could be “helped” to meet and perhaps marry. Carol follows him to the selected town of Laurel, CT. While at a shelter to help out, Nick meets Heather. Coincidentally she is on the list of 3 Cupid gave Carol.
Heather is sad as this is the first Christmas since her mom passed away and her father is also dead. Nick and she spend time together getting to know each other. He asks his mom to return to the North Pole as he is afraid she will interfere. Nick is later tipped off by his friend how his mom had Heather’s name on a list for him and he is very upset with her. He doesn’t know if his feelings for Heather are real or if his mom’s magic created them.
This is a heartwarming story as all the characters are genuine and have so much to share with others less fortunate. The authors created a sweet set up at the North Pole with the family able to use magic to help others on the mainland, to secretly contact each other and have the help of elves and their friends who also practice magic. I give it 4 stars and recommend it for a sweet and cute holiday romance.
All right, I'll admit that I have a bit of a thing for Christmas romance novels in general (contemporary, historical, fantasy, etc.), but in particular, I enjoy ones that are loosely based on Santa and his family. This is one of those books. The story centers around Nick, the only son of Santa and his wife. His mother desperately wants him to marry because she is ready for grandchildren! Nick is a bit of a loner. Though he has spent time in the real world of humans, he has yet to find a young woman he wants to marry. For one thing, he feels as though it isn't entirely fair for a woman to have to give up everything and move to the North Pole. He does it take an annual trip to the human world south of the North Pole, picking a small town on which to bestow more significant gifts, like helping those in need, to help invigorate the Christmas spirit in towns in need of such. The heroine is struggling with Christmas this year because of her mother's passing; she is alone this holiday season.
I absolutely loved Mrs. Claus and her gal pals Valentina and Eva, Cupid and Mother Nature respectively. To read about their plotting for poor Nick’s love life was quite humorous. The book does an excellent job of showing what is going on through conversations between the various characters, making the story feel more immediate and helping the reader get immersed in the story. I found this to be a charming, sweet holiday read. If you enjoy Christmas romances that feature Santa and his family as I do, you will most likely enjoy this book.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
I love this story about Santa’s family. I have, since a child, wondered about Santa, Mrs Claus, the elves...were there children? Did elves marry? Have families? What did the North Pole really look like? Did Santa know the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy, St Valentine? Were the shoemaker’s elves kin to Santa’s elves? I thought about it all, dreaming about it. Am I still curious? Yes. I’m not even going to try lying. I clap for fairies and believe in Santa. This book was perfect for me. When Mrs Claus, Carol, called on her friends..you have no idea how delighted I was! Reading about the North Pole and how Nicolas was changing it with technology fascinated me. Yes, it also saddened me. I like the elves working. But the best was in reading about Nick, Heather and Carol. I’m not going into that because it would take away the reason to read. Make no mistake, I want you to read it. I want you to feel the wonder, delight, anxiety and worry. I want you to crave chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate made special. Stop reading the review and go read the book. I received an ecopy of this book from BookSprout for review consideration. All thoughts are based on my feelings while reading the book. My review is voluntary.
Fun holiday romance. Perfect to be made into a Hallmark Holiday Movie. Heather has recently lost her mother so she’s not really in the Christmas spirit, so she hasn’t decorated her home yet. Nicholas (Nick) Kringle is the son of Santa Claus. Every year in December he goes to a town and helps out, giving away food, gifts, helping at shelters, etc. This year his mom Carol Kringle wants to go with him, but he doesn’t know she has an agenda. She wants to find him a wife and she enlists several of her women friends to help her. When Heather and Nick meet at the shelter they instantly are attracted to each other, so can Nick’s love of Christmas bring the spirit back to Heather? Nick has always been afraid of love so will he find the courage to tell Heather who he really is? I loved Carol Kringle’s friends. Just three ladies getting together for coffee but what powerful friends they are!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cupid Claus is a funny tongue-in-cheek look at mothers playing matchmaker by Kelsey McKnight & Sarah Fischer. When is this being made into a Hallmark Christmas movie? It has all the marks of a being a big hit for that channel.
Nick isn’t looking for love but his mother knows he needs it so she finds it for him. With help from Cupid and Mother Nature that is what she does. I loved these three together. While this reads as a stand-alone I am hoping that they team up again to meddle, mean help out others. The story involves someone else who is also in serious need of love too. If this won’t get you into the good spirit holiday mood, then nothing will.
An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is a great fun Christmas story that is guaranteed to get you into the Christmas spirit.
Heather has recently lost her mother and she has no interest what so ever in celebrating Christmas she is working at a shelter to help others less fortunate. Nick Kringle is the son of Santa Claus in an effort to prove his worth he goes to a different town every year to help the less fortunate he has trouble believing in love. Then he meets Heather and a spark flashes between them could this be the love he has been looking for or is it his mother and her friends meddling with the help of cupid. Is their love real and can he tell her his secret You will have to read to see if they have a future together.
Santa's ready to retire, and Carol (his wife) wants to see their son happily married. She and her friends cook up a scheme to make it happen. Heather just lot her mother, and can't seem to find her Christmas spirit. Nick goes to a small town to deliver Christmas cheer, meets Heather working at a shelter, and falls in love. Did he fall in love with her on his own, or did his mother work some magic? Will Heather will love him when she finds out who he really is? This book is a treasure, a heartwarming and magical story of love finding those who belong together.

Heather has lost both her parents, her mother most recently so she doesn't know how to go on and she hasn't decorated for Christmas and then she meets Nicholas at the shelter. Nicholas comes down to the mainland every year to help people and the first night there he meets Heather and he feels like a teenager again and then they start hanging out together but then he finds out his mom and aunt's are meddling in his love life and he gets mad and tells his mom to leave. One year later while watching the northern lights Nick asks Heather to marry him and she says yes. What a beautiful lovely story.

Carol, Mrs. Claus just wants her son Nick to marry and give her grandchildren. She works with her friend Valentina, who is really Cupid to come up with a list of potential matches for him. She meets other potential couples along the way and uses her matchmaking capabilities and some North Pole magic to set them up. Nick meets one of the matches Heather at a shelter and there's instant attraction and they have a lot in common like their mutual love of reading and hockey. But what will he do when he finds out about his mother's hand in this? Is it real love or just Christmas magic? This Christmas story had paranormal elements and several funny and romantic moments.
This is such a cute and crazy Christmas story about a mother who wants her son Nick to find a wife and settle down before he takes over as Santa. Yep Santa! Honestly what do you think happens when you have Carol Claus, Mother Nature and cupid all trying to find Nick a wife? Nick does not need their help and he comes across Heather. I think that they were a perfect match from the start. What will happen when Heather learns who he really is? I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a fun awesome story I couldn't put it down. I'ts a fast paced read where Mrs. Claus wants her son Nick to find a wife before he takes over as Santa. When he takes a break and goes to the real world she follows to play matchmaker for him. He meets Heather on his own and doesn't need matchmaking, but will she believe in him that he is the heir apparent to Santa Clause. Will they find true love together. It's a definite holiday must read and I can't wait to read more!!!

Cupid Claus is a charming holiday romance. Mischief and mayhem collide when a meddling mother, Carol Claus, and her cohorts try to find a wife for Carol's son, Nick. When Nick meets Heather, is it true love or did Mom's magic interfere?
The characters are wonderful and lovable. The storyline is well written and full of love and laughter. This is a delightful story to read while getting ready for the Christmas season.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I am looking forward to more. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
Cupid Claus is the first book I have read by Kelsey McKnight and it was wonderful romance that offers a lot of small town charm, family and sweetness. This is Nick and Heather story they are both enjoyable characters along with all of side characters that are well written. Their attraction was strong and their chemistry generated lotsof sparks. The storyline was engaging and fun and offers a solid amount of drama and emotional turmoil as this couple relatiship evolves into more than they ever imagined.

” Cupid Claus” by Sarah Fischer and Kelsey McKnight is a tale of Santa’s son Nick Nicolas ....who is STILL single ....a fact that is driving his Mother ...Carol to distraction ...and Heather lonesome girl Nick tries to help ....but are his feelings for her real....or as he suspects part of his matrimony-minded Mother and her meddle-some friends. Great Holiday fun...and Much enjoyed and Highly Recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book

Wow if I could see myself in a book, this would be it!! Mrs Carol Claus wants her son Nick to settle down and won’t take No for an answer. She and her friends Mother Nature and Cupid find a few young ladies and BOOM Carol is off to find her son love before Christmas Eve. Nick is a bit of a workaholic and Heather is a sweetie who needs love just as much as Nick. And Carol is a hoot. Think Dolly Parton in a red dress. I could see this on the Hallmark Channel or something. Five star!!
This book was so adorable! Carol is Mrs Claus and she gets together with her friends to find her son Nicholas a match. Heather seems like a good fit, but Nicholas doesn't want his mom sticking her nose in his business. But Carol doesn't listen and there's a great scene when she's hiding in the bushes. Lots of laughs in this book and a ton of feeling. I kept up to read the whole thing and wished there was a series involved.
A cute Christmas story that's overly sweet so I hope you have a sweet tooth. Mrs. Claus is not happy her only son has not have found love yet and it's a bit of a workaholic, so she intends to take matters into her own hands. Whilst she's scheming Nick meets Heather on his own, but once he learns of his mom's plans are his feeling his own or a result from Cupid Claus?
