Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

This book was a fun addition to the music fairy series. The girls need to save the day when the missing harp threatens to ruin a wedding. It's not the most eventful book in the series, but it has its fun moments with some misunderstandings and foolish goblins. I particularly enjoyed the illustrations in this one--the poorly disguised goblins somehow remain unnoticed by anyone except the girls, even in their comically oversized clothes. The conclusion wasn't quite as exciting as some of the other stories, but it comes together well to set up the finale in the next book.

This book seemed to travel along slower than previous books in the series, but still a fun, magical short read

This one was quite enjoyable, the wedding place was an interesting idea and the ilustrations in this book may be one of the best I've seen in fairy-books!

Rachel and Kristy are going to a wedding. There, they find Maya the Harp Fairy. Then, they see a goblin and they follow him. He has Maya's magical harp. The goblin goes into the wedding ceremony. Then, they see another goblin pushing a cart with a cake on it. They follow the goblin into a room where the goblin puts the cake on the table. They find out that another goblin was hiding under the cart. Then, Rachel and Kristy get turned into fairies. Rachel flies over to one goblin and Kristy flies over to the other. Kristy says that she saw the other goblin that was taking the magical harp out of the goblin's pocket, because it was still Fairy-Land sized, and the goblin that's pocket it is in wouldn't notice. Rachel tells the other goblin that it's very unfair that he doesn't have the harp and he should go get it. While the goblins are fighting, the harp flies out of one goblin's pocket and into the cake. Maya pulls it out without the goblins even noticing.

This is the fifth book of seven in the "Music Fairies" series by the group of authors who go by the name Daisy Meadows. It's a fun series, especially for young girls who are starting to read chapter books. Our oldest is addicted and I am encouraging it since I am confident that these books will help her develop a love for reading! She reads them on her own and will sometimes read aloud to me. I have been reading them along with her (at first I was irritated by them, but now they amuse me and they only take about 5 minutes to read). We will discuss the plots, her favorite parts and what we think will happen later in the series. We've read through several of these series of books and our oldest is determined to read them all. I love it!

Kirsty's babysitter Kerry is having a wedding, and she invited her best friend Rachel in. The harpist is very sad as she plays her harp badly, when Maya the Harp Fairy appears and gives a mission for the girls to get the magic harp back from the Goblin, who is also an excellent harpist. The wedding cake with the harp on the top is absolutely my favorite.
