This was absolutely adorable. I recently found Liz’s comics on Tumblr and I’m sort of obsessed.

I loved the separation by season and there were so many cute set ups.

A fun and undeniably cute read that's great for when you need something light or a perk-me-up. The introduction describes this as a book "meant to make you happy and to take your mind off the heaviness of real life, because life can be a real bummer sometimes" — and it delivers exactly that.

Like with many comics collection, some of the jokes were punny and put a smile on a face while others fell flat for me. I like how the illustrations are simple yet adorable.

Not super exceptional on a whole, but gets the job done.

I picked this up at random at the library because it was in the graphic novel section and had a cute bear on the cover. Apparently it is the third collection of a series of internet cartoons featuring only animals.

The bear appears frequently and is cute. The other animals, not as much. As in newspaper comic strips, the backgrounds are nearly nonexistent, with the animals appearing in a white or blue void, depending on whether they are on land or sea.

The humor is extremely mild with a tendency toward the sort of low-hanging dad jokes that have been prevalent on newspaper comic pages for decades. This would fit in nicely between Garfield and The Grizzwells, but I prefer the cartoons I follow to have a little more edge.

I was having a bad day with an inflamed knee all day, bedridden and grumpy, until this silly book happened.

I was having all kinds of wild thoughts about the pain and my health but then I realised I was just thinking too much. I needed a good distraction.

And this silly book turned out to be the perfect one.

This silly, silly book is so silly that I got silly hooked to its simple, cute illustrations and their silliest lines. I mean hahahahhahaha! Seriously, author, you made my day! This comic collection is so worth it 📸🎭🌼

Actually I don't need to be near a person when I am grouchy. It's for times like this that such books are in dire need.

Thank you for believing that this book will help others. Because it just helped me.

Một cuốn dễ yêu để bắt đầu năm mới ^^
Recommended cho ai thích những điều dễ thương, mặc dù sau khi dịch ra thì nhiều joke và pun hơi khó hiểu.

So you'll have to take my review with a grain of salt because I've loved Liz Climo's work for a long time. The jokes are fun, the illustrations endearing, and it's nice to have a completely relaxing comic book experience. Undeterred by all the bad stuff that's going on, you too can have the best Bear ever!

Just take it step by step, read this book or Liz Climo's online stuff, and practice some self-care. I highly recommend reading the introduction to the book as well (I know, I know, I love skipping the intros on books too). But this one gives a really concise overview of Liz's intentions in putting this collection together and what she hopes for us as readers.

Wholesome enough for children, but fun for even the most jaded of adults, I couldn't recommend this graphic novel more highly.

A sweet, endearing little graphic novel full of gentle, amusing pages. A tale of a bear and rabbit who go on adventures together with the other animal friends, such as an otter and a sloth to name two; plenty of word play and cute jokes that will bring a smile to the face.

The illustrations are simple and charming. I love her web comics and it's nice to find some of her work collected in a book such as this.

Kind of like a breath of fresh air - to read when you just want a little joy in your life.

Frankly I was expecting to love that one and I'm really disappointed that it was just ok!
I've seen Liz Climo's little strips online for a very long time and always thought they were super cute, so I bought this book without hesitation, thinking I would start to get them all. Now I'm sure I will not be doing that.
Maybe a 10th of all the strips were cute or funny, the rest was just either falling flat or just weird.
I will mark the pages that I liked and only revisit those.
