Psst, I know a secret.

The same secret that the Student Council—the super-rich, super handsome elite of Adamson All-Boys Academy—knows, too.

Jenica Woodruff, the only girl to ever attend the academy before I showed up, didn't commit suicide: she was murdered.

Now, someone is after me, too, but no matter where I go, the killer follows. My new high school isn't safe, and turns out, neither is my old one.

I'm not a member of the Student Council, but after everything we've been through together, after the horrible things we've seen, I may as well be. These ruthless boys have taken me under their wing.

Church, the fearless leader (and hopeless coffee addict). Ranger, the bada** VP (and naked baker). The identical McCarthy twins (and MMA enthusiasts). And Spencer, the boy who was willing to question everything about himself to fall for me … oh, Spencer.

Murder and romance are both in the air at Adamson; I'm just not sure which one will kill me first.

𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: I read like half of this book a couple of months back, and randomly thought I'd finish it. It was a fun experience, I don't usually read RH books but they are definitely interesting sometimes, and I've read another series of this author, that in retrospect wasn't that good, but also a fun experience too. Anyways, this book had a plot of murder too which gave the book more plot other than the steamy scenes. Overall, it was fun, and I will still read the third book, after that plot twist!

𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐭: This book had the main FMC, Charlotte Carson 'Chuck', disguised as a boy at an all-boys school. There she meets the Student Council, aka, five guys: Tobias, Micah, Ranger, Church, and Spencer. There's a looming threat of murder in the school, and will Charlotte be able to keep her secret? The plot was interesting, and the plot-twist at the end definitely made me want to continue.

𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞: honestly some of the stuff she did would not be called smart BUT she still was better than marnye from the other series that this Author wrote. Charlotte was rational and at times not (cough, cough, pull-out method girl really?) but overall nice to read about. I admired her confidence. Not the best FMC but she had some good qualities.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬: there are too many for me to write about so I'll do it collectively. They're all pretty sweet, we dont talk about the first book and I love how they all care a lot about Charlotte. The plot twist was crazy so I have no clue what to think but my favourite would probably be Church. Also can we take a moment to notice how Ranger bakes?

𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: i yelled at the crossover between burberry prep and adamson hehe that was nice, and overall, it wasn't bad but it wasn't that good as well. Give it a try if you like RH i guess! I'll still read the last book, cuz I need to finish the series <33

The Secret Girl: ★★★★★
Much awaited BR with the cake eaters~

description

The Ruthless Boys, although fun and entertaining, was a big let down compared to the first book. While I felt The Secret Girl was unapologetic towards the huge amount of obvious cliches and anime references, The Ruthless Boys seemed to have a constant need to justify itself and take the fun away from me.

Disappointing, yes, but still a lot of fun.

The Ruthless Boys picks up exactly after book one.
The first half was a drag. Really. It was mostly filler, a bit of fluff, fun and cute moments, but nothing absolutely amazing to really pick up my interest except for the characters.
Fortunately, I love the Student Council and the pace of the book did pick up around the halfway mark. We are not near any thriller action kind of pace, but then again, Adamson All-Boys Academy is a lighthearted read, more inclined to develop the romance than the murder investigation.

description

But as light as it wants to be, the mystery is a central character by itself. Filler apart, the mystery is present in pretty much every scene but barely any hint are given during the journey. The web continue to weave itself but we have to wait until the very end for a real development with a major cliffhanger.

Stunich is no mystery writer. And the whole story is simply too convenient to be more than a fun moment. The Ruthless Boys is a sexier version of The Ghost Bird; I am here for the for the characters, for the fun, for the hilarious things Charlotte can say, for the fluff, to play which twin is which, to have my ultimate fantasy realized -five very credible hours of utter fun in an empty Disneyland- and be there for the intense sexual tension. Definitely not for the plot.

Buddy Read with girls at the House of Harem RHR

Well speed read really because I pretty much went through this at 100 miles an hour.
Never have I built up so much to a sequel. The constant guessing game of when it was going to be released had me wondering if this was going to be a massive let down.
I’m happy to say I fell back into this world very quickly and fell back in love with the characters easily. I think it might be an unpopular opinion that this was awesome but I happen to love the fluff and lighthearted romance and this was exactly that.
Not much on the murder mystery front other than a lot of speculation but I think this was more about getting this harem on track.
I dig it

Again maybe an unpopular opinion but I happen to love Chuck as well as her men. Ranger the naked baker is now gaining ground for my favourite student council member. She’s funny and awkward and the situations she finds herself in just crack me up

"I'm sitting in a class full of dudes, with a lubed condom in one hand, a tiny round lemon cucumber in front of me, and the gorgeous guys of the Adamson All-Boys Academy Student Council sitting around me"

It’s just fun and I love fun.

What is was missing was the “secret girl” part. It kind of lost a little sparkle when the secret is no longer a secret. A lot of the plot drivers a little set up and convenient but that’s not what this book is about for me so I’m letting that slide.
The only part I really felt annoyed about was her Dads behaviour. Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if that man turns out to not be her father at all. He sure doesn’t act like it.
Combine that with the preemptive sentences of doom like "This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And maybe, also, the worst. I just don’t know that yet" (those always get on my nerves), another major cliffhanger similar to book 1 and I’m docking a star.

Maybe one of my favourite series this year I’m so glad this sequel didn’t disappoint.

So after just one day of delight in a long awaited release I’m now right back to

Wonderful

I’m a little disappointed in myself that this is the first book I’ve started and finished since the semester began.

I actually started this book when it came out in August…and finished it yesterday, mid-September. There’s literally nothing to hold your attention in this book, and I had so many issues with it that it’s not even funny.

First, this book contributed nothing to the plot. At all. Every book should at least have some kind of contribution to make, but there wasn’t anything significant here.

The book was a weird mess of plot points that were basically just wish fulfillment. We go from Connecticut to California to Disney Land back to Connecticut and then some weird Japanese onsen, where the characters spend approximately the last 5% of the novel and do absolutely nothing on a school trip that makes no sense. Yet somehow this part of the novel was important enough to draw a map for.

I don’t consider this a spoiler, but obviously Spencer lived. The characters spend the first third of the novel alternating between biting their nails that he might be dead and debating about whether or not they should have sex. It was so startling to be reading about how depressed Charlotte is about Spencer’s assumed demise, then begin to debate whether or not she and the twins should get it on, then immediately resume being sad about Spencer.

The “mystery” in this novel is kind of laughable by now. Again, nothing was contributed to the plot. I think I would be happier at this point if the mystery just faded into the background and was entirely forgotten. Sometimes the novel thinks that too, because the mystery will be neglected for massive sections of the book in favor of romantic pining before it weirdly and aggressively reinserts itself into the spotlight when the author remembers it’s a thing.

Not to mention Charlotte’s occasional musings on whether or not one of the guys is a suspect. We all know they’re not involved, and it’s weird that Charlotte is still super in to guys that she thinks were potentially involved in the murder of a girl years ago, and are now possibly actively plotting to kill her as well. The suspicion is thrown in for some dramatic tension, and all it does it makes Charlotte look kind of wishy washy.

The relationship can’t figure itself out. Spencer gets the most attention in this book, followed by the twins, and Ranger and Church are just background noise. It doesn’t read like an actual poly relationship, it reads like a relationship between Charlotte and Spencer that happens to be open to a select few of Spencer’s friends.

It feels unrealistic and forced, and while normally I’m rooting for the poly relationship to start, in this book I cringe every time Charlotte looks at a guy other than Spencer because of the ensuing jealousy and awkwardness. And I don’t even like Spencer.

Which kind of segues into my next point. The moments where Spencer reminisces about how hard he got when he grabbed Charlotte’s fake penis are just…weird. Especially now that he knows she’s a girl. Normally I would peg Spencer as bisexual, but he is completely adamant that he’s heterosexual, and his friends are too. It all feels kind of icky and should be left alone, but the author keeps reminding us of the almost gay-for-you plotline, which is cringey at best.

And believe it or not, there’s actually another reason (on top of all of that) as to why the relationship just doesn’t work for me. Not a single other one of the guys seems interested in anyone other than Charlotte. Reverse harems aren’t the most realistic poly relationships, but it kind of reaches a whole new level of crazy when you pair one girl with five horny guys that are aggressively heterosexual.

I’m not Charlotte’s biggest fan, but even I have to wince in sympathy for her. There’s no believable way for that to work. In her other series, Stunich had the heroine literally draw names out of a hat for each day of the week, with one day for down time. How exhausting would that be? At the very least, the guys need to be written as open to experimentation with each other, because no one can keep up that kind of lifestyle.

Now that I’ve gotten all that down, I’m going to move on to the characters.

Charlotte is a dick. She’s even worse than Stunich’s last bully romance heroine, Marnye, who was a massive hypocrite. The trait lives on! Charlotte gives the same preachy speeches about sex and not judging women for the choices they make et. al. to infinity. Then proceeds to mentally eviscerate any women that she sees… except Marnye, who makes an appearance in this book, easily identifiable by her “rose gold hair.”

I think my favorite example of this was when her aunt picks her up at the airport. Charlotte gets in the car and proceeds to describe her aunt’s makeup as heavy handed, and not her favorite type of makeup for her aunt. So?? Did her aunt put on makeup that morning specifically hoping to impress her? Based on Charlotte’s own inner rants, her aunt put on makeup that morning to make herself happy, and it shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks of it, even Charlotte.

The twins are kind of…I don’t really know. The idea of actually having sex with twins is kind of gross, because it’s not actually the same person duplicated: they’re siblings. Is that even legal? Also, I absolutely hated the scene immediately after they have sex on the Disney ride. Holding up your used condom and discussing cleaning up the mess after…just NO.

I basically said everything about Spencer that I want to already. But to reiterate – I think he’s not very chill for someone who apparently smokes a lot of weed.

Ranger and Church…I don’t have much to say about them. They’re practically forgotten most of the book.

Charlotte’s parents are one of the stupidest parts of the novel. Her dad spends the first third of the novel refusing to tell her and her friends whether or not Spencer is alive or dead and lets them suffer, even when he knows Spencer is alive. He’s a caricature, and entirely unbelievable.

My last bone to pick with this novel: Plagiarism. This novel very heavily derived its plot from Ouran High School Host Club. Best of all, the author mentions Japanese anime and this particular anime multiple times in this novel, as though pointing out the source material makes it any less awful.

I struggled with this a lot as I was reading this book. On one hand, it’s what drew me to this series in the first place. I like girl in disguise plotlines. But it feels disingenuous to the original series to enjoy something that’s basically a rip-off. Is the original creator of this content aware of this book series? Is Bisco Hatori ok with it?

Somehow, I think the answer to the first question in no. Which means that I’m not ok with it.

I do not recommend this book. I think if you’ve gotten this far into my review you probably had some issues with it as well. I was racking my brain trying to find something nice to say about it, or something that I enjoyed, but when all I could come up with was “girl in disguise” and “Church references coffee a lot and I like coffee” I realized this book doesn’t have a lot of redeeming qualities for me.

Steamy and suspenseful!

I think what I love most about this series, is the suspense! I mean, at this point I really don’t know who the bad guys are! She’s keeping us on our toes for sure. I also, surprisingly, like the slow burn aspect because we’re literally watching the development of this strong bond between all of them as they slowly build their harem. I love spencer. I love the twins. I love ranger. I love church. Gahhh I want them all for myself. And I really love our kicka** heroine.

I said it in the first book but I’ll say it again to leave this short and sweet... YOU NEED THIS SERIES IN YOUR LIFE. Off to the next one I go!

oh lord, so much mystery. also, what is with these damn cliffhangers?? UGH!

Okay, so The Ruthless Boys was good. I'm not going to lie, I was getting a smidge worried once she got sent back home 'for good'. I was wondering what was happening and who is exactly behind all of this. I doubt it's Church but I mean.. the ending does seem suspicious. I just feel like he's hiding so much from her, and Ranger too, and I just want them all to bring their secrets up to the light.

One big happy family please? I mean RH? Ugh, I'm sort of happy that they are all on the same page.. but when the heck is she just going to tell everyone she's a girl? It's killing me and I'm sure someone is behind the guy leaving the notes. I'm sure of it.

No idea who.. but I need the next book for research.

Such a great sequel to the first novel. These books have definitely become my guilty pleasure.
I loved the suspense buildup, the twists and turns, losing the grip on who you thought the bad guys are, simply the book kept me enthralled from beginning to yet another mindblowing cliffhanger at the end.
As always with Stunich she has no grasp on reality when it comes to the money, so there are a few completely unrealistic things happening (renting the whole Disneyland being one), but oh well, as I said she’s a Cinderella wanna be in her soul.
Love the twins, funny as hell.

As you can tell I'm really into reverse harem at the moment - extremely guilty pleasure. But what I loved about this one is the veil of mystery that is intertwined throughout the book and I assume the series. This makes this book, more intriguing and unputdownable. Staying up late on a school night to download and start reading book 2 shows how much this story got under my skin.

IMAGINE HAVING TO TELL YOUR PARENTS YOU HAVE THREE BOYFRIENDS

lol imagine having a boyfriend 🙃 anyways this one was good but it just wasn’t as good as the first, you can tell the author is trying to drag the plot for three books because this one really dragged and for what reason? i was so bored yet intrigued because on one hand it was taking forever to be over but on the other hand i love the friendship in this series so much.

wasn’t as interesting as the first one and felt kind of stale for a while, but I actually really liked how every guy had a turn in developing their relationship with Charlotte. ALSO I SUSPECTED OF HIM BUT DIDNT WANT IT TO BE TRUE SO IM GONNA HOPE TO GOD THIS IS A MISDIRECT AND HE IS GOOD.

WHAT THE EFF WAS THAT ENDING.

But seriously!?! Ugh, this series is not nice to my heart. Just when everything was shaping up for a Happily Ever After, the ending was like WHAM NO. I have so much whiplash from the last chapter, I am unsure my heart will recover.

The beginning of this book was full of so much grief and processing of grief. It was raw and Chuck's emotional trauma was the forefront. When things begin to settle down, the threats on Chuck's life don't stop, even though the crew hasn't discovered much more about Jenica's murder.

Unfortunately, Chuck's dad is still an asshole and decides to send her back to California now. While Chuck is still a bit immature and annoying, her dad is worse. He doesn't take anything she says seriously, even when its obvious he knows something is happening. I get that he's stressed and has his own BS to deal with, but like come on. Believe your damn daughter FFS.

The biggest surprise for me in this book was Church. I didn't think I'd like him ever because he's so cold and emotionless at times. But getting to see more of him interacting with Chuck in this book made me ship them so hard. Church and Ranger are my new faves, even though Ranger was my fave in the last book. The harem begins to shape up in this book, and my god was I living for it. I need more right now.

Well then. 4.5 stars I think.

Reading this book after a few months of waiting, it felt as though there was less mystery solving and more relationship building with mundane stuff. I admit some of my enthusiasm wilted with the drama about the release date, but I kept in mind though how it would have felt reading 1 and 2 back to back and was able to garner some of that excitement back.

This felt more like filler (kinda like anime the book referenced a lot), but again, with reading 1 and 2 back to back, it would feel right. The ending felt as though it was the only progress with the mystery, with 90% of the book dedicated to fluff.

But, I don't mind it. (I know I list all these things that are negative but really, I enjoyed it.) Which is funny, cuz usually I don't like this much filler. But this was a lot of fun, just seeing them interact with each other, the little heart stopping moments of romantic advances (even though some were VERY silly ), and testing out the waters for an RH situation.

Looking forward to the 3rd book which i'm sure will contain more murder mystery and mayhem. Curious to see how this wraps up.

That cliffhanger!

First off, when is the last book due out? Second, why did I give up reading completed series? I'm hating all these cliffhangers lately! Last, whose hand landed on her shoulder in that last scene? Church? Her dad? Mr. Note Writer Teacher?

There are some serious laugh out loud moments in this series. And just enough mystery to reel me in.

So her harem seems to have jumped from 3 to all 5. Good. I liked them all. I know, I know. Maybe Church is a psycho, but what girl doesn't need a little psycho in her harem? Definitely keeps it more interesting. Besides, I think it's that whole Imposter Syndrome or whatever it was called. I don't think he's really psychopathic. Just maybe he is good at trying to act how he thinks he should to be most accepted and get what he wants. Isn't that what most people are anyway? I dunno.

The chemistry she had with Spencer last book seems to have gotten lost in the pages. This book the chemistry seems to be with Ranger mostly and kinda also with Church. Yeah Micah and Tobias a little too. But then again, I am sure it's hard to balance all that chemistry when writing while giving the newer harem members time to shine and letting the other two seal the deal. Yeah, okay.

By the way, I loved Church's family.

That restaurant bread bowl prosthetic scene was hilarious!

Buddy read with Cake eaters @ RHR

Until that ending I knew exactly what I was gonna say about this one. Now I’m not so sure. Having a deer in headlights moment. Cliffhanger ending.

From release date teasing to Spencer teasing, until Spencer’s fate was decided nothing else mattered, so may need to re-read the beginning again. All I wanted to know was what happened. As for the mystery in the first book? No answers in this one either.

It’s pretty much a filler fluff piece where Charlotte/Chuck/Charlie/Chucklet whatever they wanna call her, gets to be a fairytale princess for a while in the midst of playing junior detective. Don’t get me wrong I loved it and the characters just get better and better, Charlotte is less of a brat now. Still it left me with mixed feelings and can be divided into the good, the bad and the ugly.

The good:-
-The harem being established.
- The light-hearted fluff
- The guys (love all of them)
- No bullying

The bad:-
-The secret girl is gone and pretty much everyone knows. I thought it was over in the first book and that’s pretty much the case.
-I miss the pranks. Still the name calling but its not the same.
-The mystery feels dragged out
-I didn’t like how the twins were compared to OHS. For a while after it did feel like they were knock offs, so ruined the twins a little for me.

The ugly:-
The father. The one character I absolutely can’t stand. Given how he can’t look after his own kid, its questioning how he can look after a whole school. With each appearance I dislike him more and more. Kinda hoping he’s the baddie.

Most importantly the story has what I value most in a book. Humour. There is a good dose of it mostly sex but it was enjoyable and it kept the story lively. The mystery part is pretty meh but I loved everything else and can’t wait for the next one.

— 𝟑.𝟐𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆

✿.。.:* ☆:**:. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬.:*☆*.:。.✿

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 (H) is missing in the first few chapters, not just him, though, a lot of the academy boys are difficult to track down because of spring break. However, the rest of the Student Council (Tobias, Micah, Ranger, Church) and Charlotte are going insane not knowing if it’s his body that was found in the woods or Eugene Mathers. They spent a whole week mourning the loss of Spence, only for him to reappear one night and said he was off the grid with no service. His night back, Charlotte and Spence are unable to hide their feelings any longer and get swept away in the moment. Their feelings are intense that night considering she thought she lost him forever, and he is still angry that she kept the secret but he’s glad to see her. They become an official couple, but there is still the lingering tension with Charlotte and the twins — meanwhile Ranger and Church seem to have feelings for her too but aren’t saying anything. Eventually Spencer agrees to let Charlotte explore her feelings for the twins so it won’t ruin any of their dynamics and she starts to test that RH theory out. Meanwhile, she goes from the Academy back to CA because her father sends her away for her “safety” even though she’s still being threatened wherever she goes.

Alongside the boys, she’s attempting to solve the murder case and figure out who’s trying to send her a warning message. Someone is trying to protect her , but there’s others who want to kill her. In the final moments of book two, she sees something she wasn’t supposed to and finds Church involved in it all, unaware if it’s a misunderstanding.. she runs off and that’s where it ends. It’s a lot to process in this book.

*•.¸♡ ★·.·´ 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 ★·.·´¯`·.·★ ♡¸.•*

Spence does not like to share, so the fact that he’s been so open to Charlotte’s new dynamic with the twins is interesting to see. When she almost slept with Ranger who isn’t even involved, he almost flipped his shit but then he decreed that she could see anyone within the circle. However, it seems like she leans towards Spencer and doesn’t want to hurt him by being with anyone else. She did share a lot of moments with the twins and their interactions are always so funny. Tobias and Micah are completely different and have unique dynamics with her, so it’s cute to see how they act around her.

Ranger fits into this protective role and he’s always blushing around her. He doesn’t want to act upon his feelings but he would still do anything for her. He’s not very confrontational until the final chapters where he can no longer resist the temptation of confessing his feelings and being with her. Meanwhile, Church expresses his love through acts of service but now that man is suspicious. What is he doing with a knife… is this because he’s adopted so this is some secret vendetta against Charlotte. Don’t tell me the lady who abandoned him at birth is actually Charlotte’s mother so they’re related… I don’t want Church to be evil but honestly anything can happen at this point. The cliffhangers for the books are really good because they keep capturing my interest, so I’m obviously moving on to book three.

I hope the RH works out in the third book because right now it feels like Spence is the favorite and he’s still holding on to the hope that she’s going to pick him. He wants to be the only one for her so I don’t know how it will end in the final book and how he comes to term with it. The twins are very open to it, but they also only share with each other.. so adding Ranger and Church to the mix might be a lot for them. Even though Church might be out if he’s the villain? I don’t trust anyone in this series.

𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥, this series is actually very interesting. Romance books with a murder mystery plot always keeps me hooked, especially with the boarding academy vibes.

Read other books from this author in the future: yes

I liked the second book of the Adamson All-Boy Academy. I still don’t like the Dad and I still don’t feel the Harem. The guys seem to compete with each other and their aim is to be the only one chosen by Charlie after she has dated everybody. So I am looking forward how the third book will solve everything. Big Minus was the cliffhanger at the end. One of the worst cliffhangers ever!

Have you ever had a crush on more than one person at a time?

Well, I know I had. This was enjoyable and an easy read. Romance and Murder and Mystery. More steamy and sexier than the first one, but didn't have so many funny moments. I was a little annoyed by the fact that Charlotte (the main character) keeps mentioning one particular scary moment week that she had, over and over again.

Charlotte (Chuck) is now friends with all 5 members of her harem the student council and she's enjoying every minute of it! Again, I felt like a was younger, around 18 or 19. I had a constant smile on my face and yes, I will read the last book soon!
At Adamson Academy, you do not fuck with the Student Council

PS. It's a little weird that Charlotte is a teen, thinks and acts like one, but sometimes the author has her thinking more mature ideas about polyamory, relationships, sex, etc. I appreciate that it gets the right message to a younger audience, it's just that all of a sudden makes her to someone you struggle to identify with.

Ridiculously implausible to the point where I can't even pretend that I'm not just here for the smut anymore :(

Wow, way to end on a cliffhanger there!

Charlotte (Chuck) is now BFFs with all five of her boy chums ... and more accurately the friends with benefits kind. But these guys are willing to protect Chuck with their entire hearts and souls. Someone is definitely targeting Chuck, and though only her Student Council boys and a few faculty know her real identity, someone else knows too, and they want her gone. Or dead.

When Chuck is sent packing back to California against her will by her overprotective headmaster dad, the crew doesn’t let that stop them from spending weekends and the entire summer with Chuck, even as the killers follow her across the country.

Now back in Connecticut for her senior year due to some very unorthodox moves by one of her guys, Chuck and company are still hot on the trail of the killer - or killers.

What I love most about this book is the characters. OMG! The author does such a great job describing them - from their hair, eyes, mannerisms, and even scent - they are all crystal clear in my mind. Book two turns from the bully romance genre to the reverse harem, big time, but never lets up on the wonderful story of friendship, love, and murder action that courses throughout.

I’m really enjoying the series.
It’s definitely not a bully romance, it’s like Charlotte is one of the guys, but they all want her. (And she definitely wants all of them)
Some of the scenarios are over the top and unrealistic. Some things are made out to be a bigger deal than they are. Suspense is created with the story and then the conclusion is anticlimactic.
I do love the characters, they are all quirky in their own way. I do not like either of Charlotte’s parents.
I did have a laugh out loud moment when the crew took her mom to dinner though… hilarious. I very rarely lol while reading, but this had me crying!

I’m on to book 3.

I’m loving this series. There is a mystery aspect but for the most part it’s cute and fluffy and I’m obsessed with this group. I do love the mystery of it all but it’s not always the main focus which I don’t mind but I could see how it would bother other readers. I won’t say too much but I do love the characters and the story. I keep grinning like an idiot and the cute moments and throwing my kindle at the awkward.

Well I am truly sucked into this. The way it ended I'll have the read the last book as soon as I can. I love the guys they are all so funny and cute at times. A long cry from the start of book one. Daddy is defiantly up to something but what we don't know yet. It seems like a few people could be involved with the murders but who and why is still uncertain.

‘“You tried to beat me up,” I murmur, and Spencer grins.
“Don't lie: I saw that bully romance book in your room. Who doesn't love a good enemies-to-lovers romance? Besides, you had it coming, you dickhead.”’
