Just finished reading and working problems from chapters 1 through 7 in preparation for grad classes. Very clearly written. Excellent intro to the basics. I'm excited that these concepts are making more sense now than when I was an undergrad.

All I've got to say is "fluid mechanics is NOT my subject! "
Based on the fact that i just don't like it... I wouldn't know if this is to be recommended or not.
