Amaranthine Madison is headed to Eden. Not the mythical garden but the home planet of the Triari; her newly discovered relatives. She's hoping to settle a truce between the Triari and the Bleiten, ending a war that has raged for millennia. Mainly because she's married to the Bleiten Prince.
But she also has a partial Faulin Fusion to deal with; an intimate connection to the devious and devilishly handsome Cyprian Alexander.
On top of that, the Danutians are demanding that she return to Danu and reconnect the magic she took from their prince.
Spectra's first journey off-world will take her to wondrous places -- but getting home may be far harder than she expects. * * *

Amy Sumida is the Internationally Acclaimed author of the Award-Winning Godhunter Series, the fantasy paranormal Twilight Court Series, the Beyond the Godhunter Series, the music-oriented paranormal Spellsinger Series, the superhero Spectra Series, and several short stories. Her books have been translated into several languages, have won numerous awards, and are bestsellers. She believes in empowering women through her writing as well as providing everyone with a great escape from reality. Her stories are full of strong women and hot gods, shapeshifters, vampires, dragons, fairies, gargoyles... pretty much any type of supernatural, breathtakingly gorgeous man you can think of. Because why have normal when you could have paranormal? Born and raised in Hawaii, Amy made a perilous journey across the ocean with six cats to settle in the beautiful state of Oregon which reminds her a lot of Hawaii but without the cockroaches or evil sand. When she isn't trying to type fast enough to get down everything the voices in her head are saying while her kitties try to sabotage her with cuteness, she enjoys painting on canvases, walls, and anything else that will sit still long enough for the paint to dry. She prefers antiques to modern furniture, tea to coffee, night to day, and Tom Hardy to Tom Hiddleston. No; Tom Hiddleston to Tom Hardy. No, wait... Tom Hardy and Tom Hiddleston to Tom Cruise. I'm not really getting this. It's an okay story but just not for me. I'm finding I'm getting bored more then anything through out the book. I did like the fact that she got to meet some of her family. I liked how the author tried to get the traditions of the races within the story. It sounds like she may rule over a lot more then she first thought and it seems like a lot could happen with wars and rivals and stuff.
I like that the romance and plot are not simple and easy. The story and relationships developing are engagingly complex. There were a couple scenes that I did not like and some lengthy descriptions I skimmed, but overall I'm really enjoying this series.
I am really enjoying this series so far. While I haven’t read the god hunter series by Amy, I have read the Twilight court and found that one equally fascinating. This one, which takes a different slant and features a completely different FMC, is not only captivating, but refreshingly Inventive, combining some of the best legends with both accepted, and new, lore.
First person, single POV, Slow build RH, PNR Episodic Rating = R (mature)
Pros: - well written - Creative - Love Amara - Great breaking - Explores the depths of love, and the differences that can sprout from it.
Cons: - Both a pro and a con, Heart breaking - Starting to feel a little like a Hamilton series, though it hasn’t jumped the shark yet - or anywhere close.
I’ve pretty much read every one of Amy Sumida’s books and I have to give her credit for consistency. All of her books have been amazing. Some of them have shocked me more than others, but they have all been reads I couldn’t put down. As long as her Godhunter series is, I really hope she doesn’t end the series anytime soon. I also look forward to reading more about Amara. Thank you Amy for creating a great fantastical world of Gods, Monsters, and Fantasies. Keep going Girl! I can’t wait to read what you come up with next.
I really like Amy Sumida's writing style, but one thing I really hate is the way the characters are kidnapped and fall in love with the kidnapper. I understand the dynamics of the story, but when that happens I am terrified of the Stolcomus Syndrome. One thing I didn't like about this book was the moment when she was kidnapped (again) and fell in love with the kidnapper very quickly, she really fell in love with him s
Amy Sumida is the best ! How can she create amazing stories and be consistent? Another fav book. Every time Amy Sumida releases another book I don’t even read the blur cause I KNOW I’m going to the love every book.
I can’t wait to continue with Amara’s story and can I just say I FREAKING LOVE Cyprian ‘ 💚💚
I can’t say enough about this author. Her books are a favorite of mine. Every time I read a new series, it’s my favorite because I’m reading it at that moment. If you like a slow burn RH with an actual story you can get lost in, start here with this author. With Spectra. With her Godhunter series. With Twilight Court.
Wow I cannot believe Malik did that what a hot head. I think Amara needs to take a step back and figure out what she wants instead of running after these men. I like her character she is strong, confident and independent. I would hate for the men in her life to make that disappear.
My heart hurts at what Amara has been through. Will she ever fix her relationships? She made the best of her bad situation and everything came back to bite her. I can't wait to see how it unfolds in the next book.
A fun series I can’t seem to put down. I read this book in one sitting...probably shouldn’t start the next one at midnight. I am enjoying this series and am sure they sill be added to my reread list
This series is great! I recommend it Its an easy read, fast paced and you can still become attached to the heroine. The last chapters and scenes between Spectra and Cyprien had me crying like a baby. Can't wait for the next book
Every time I think these stories can’t get more intense yet it does. How crazy! I freaking cried quite a bit in this story so much heartbreaking moments. I’m literally on the edge of my seat to see what happens next.
This 3rd installment in the series was a little bit more over the top than the first 2. Still, it was addictive and I enjoyed greatly my reading journey.
What I liked: - the recaps made at the beginning of each novel are very appreciated and they are made in a funny and entertaining way -action packed, we don't get bored in this series, there is always something fresh and intense going on. Amara's life is very overwhelming and crazy! - hilarious dialogues and I love the conscience (inner voice) of Amara - deep subject and really moving speeches - very well written plot - deep and layered characters - tough and complex situations approached with finesse
What I liked less: - overwhelming reverse harem. way too many love interests. Betrayal, heartaches, infidelity - too much descriptions - I was not preparing for that much sex scenes, I thought it was a slow burn series and now it's very erotica. The first, book at only 1 sex scene at the very end of the book. Now, the heroine is having sex with way too many people ( maybe I'm just not used to reverse harem)
