This book is some dark dominant sexy shit
Cyrene is a proud independent omega who has become Lead Archer.
In her tribe, women are seen are more equal and omegas aren't held to the archaic standards
and the fucking opposite side of the spectrum
there Deimos a total Alpha and from a very strict tribe. His redemption arc in this one book is more complex than fucking Zuko's 3 seasons.
Demos's tribe is BARBARIC and he makes SOOO many goddamn mistakes. I mean we got non-con, dub-con, just some dark-Game-Thrones-shit where Demos is trying to force her into his standards but she absolutely proves him wrong
Omegas will submit to Alphas. but you have to earn it and not abuse that trust.
Which he eventually figures out,
"He knew she would keep fighting for more. His woman held such fire in her spirit. It would be a delicate balance: to not extinguish the flame, yet prevent it from burning down everything around her."
So yes, there are some chapters where you absolutely don't think Demos will EVER redeem himself... and then he just does
Honestly I really enjoyed this one because it took the long redemption route and yes it was dark as fuck so not for everyone. but if you looking for omega-alpha books, then lemme just tell you that you found exactly what you looking for AND then some *smirk*

Ok!! Hold on! I never knew that I can find on wattpad such an amazing book! Incredible! I am speechless. Who is Alexandra Rey?? She should definitely be out there on the market , this lady has real talent!
This book was amazing. Something like The Golden Dynasty or maybe Vikings tv show but in an omegaverse universe. But to be honest this is original and unique in its own way.
The world building is enthralling and ensnares you from the first page in this new universe set in an era with warriors fighting with swords and people living in tribes. It has Alphas Omegas and Betas , it has fated spirit mates, war spirits , leaders and politics, culture and ancient doctrines and an engaging plot and carefully developed characters .
Cyrene, the FMC , is a Lead Archer to her tribe, a position she worked hard to earn and she is also the first omega to reach the status of Lead. This woman is truly a kickass h in a world dominated by men. She is a devoted feminist and hates the misogynistic oppression of omegas and women in general by alphas /men. She is strong , resilient and and resourceful even when they try to break her. I have all respect and admiration for this character and her decisions.
When their tribe face annihilation and starvation , her king forms an alliance with the strange northern Lobo tribe. This warriors are pure Alphas, short on omegas in the north where they come from, but very set in their antique mentality - where omegas need to be submissive and for breeding purposes , so imagine their surprise when they see not so meek omegas in this tribe.
This fact incites their alpha nature to force the omegas submitting.
The Hero - please be prepared for him! he is a bastard and almost unredeemable , but oh boy, I loved him so much by the end, I really do have such a soft spot for this kind of jerks *sigh*.
Deimos is Alpha, but he is possessed as well by a war spirit -Berserker-and he is second in command to Lobo tribe king. This man makes so many mistakes ... but I want to put the blame on the fact that they do not know any better , but they will learn. His character has grown so much until the end , from an anti hero he becomes a loyal, caring, still possessive alpha but a lovable man.
So yeah, their relationship is not insta-love , more like insta hate . It is definitely enemies to bonded mates type of relationship, they fight and hurt and their road if full of pain but oh.. it develops so beautiful.
The secondary cast was also very intriguing , and I am looking forward to read more about them.
Overall if you want to read something very original, intriguing and captivating do not miss this.
*** I have seen many accusatory comments on this book on wattpad about the barbaric methods, behavior and ways the Alphas used- YES it is brutal, it has non-con, dub-con , violence but people need to understand that this is omegaverse genre -Omegas will submit to Alphas-. it is also dark , and also keep in mind the setting of this world - a time when women are considered beneath man -thought the h proves them different- (like a Game of Thrones setting), so yes I was ok with all of this in this case ***

Loved every second! I almost passed it up because of the lack of ratings, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. It’s free on Wattpad, and this is seriously so much better than some of the self-published m/f Omegaverse books on Amazon.
What makes this book so great?
The world-building
The universe is unique and well thought out. The setting takes place on the planet Gaea, which is made up of many tribes. The tribes seem to be inspired by the Native American Plains Tribes. One tribe, the Lobo, reminds me a bit of the Dothraki. I enjoyed reading about the tribal politics and appreciated how the world-building intertwined with the plot and characters.
The female lead
Cyrene is a badass. She’s lead archer, one of the few Omegas to rise in a leadership position as a warrior. A strong female lead in a leadership position is a nice change of pace. I like her stallion, hibi, too.
The male lead
Beware: Deimos is infuriating. The kind of jerk I like reading about ;) I really like how the author developed his character.
This is * not * a reverse harem story; there’s no mmf menage. I’ve been coming across this so much in the Omegaverse genre. I prefer the focus to be on only two people.

This book was actually able to draw an emotion from me, which hasnt happened from omegaverse since i last read Addison Cain and Zoey Ellis . I'm VERY surprised how good this book is! REALLY
Its original and not fast neither slow burn. It captured my interest in the beginning and held it till the end! Exactly what a good story does!
I definately recommend it :)

I've been quite restless this year about books. Themes what I've loved for some time have kind of left me dissatisfied. I guess you could blame it on a situation what's going on currently. A little magic will heal and makes everything better- so I have noticed lately.
I have to say when I started to read this book, immediately my mind went to " A Kingdom of Dreams". My all time favorite book! EVER! Yes, it's bit different but something reminded me of this book. I guess it was those strong beliefs and deep pride, therefore having no will to bend and breaking something beautiful. In every direction you looked, you saw doom, no happy outcome either of them, all because how they are raised and of their beliefs.
Deimos and Cyrene- both so stubborn and prideful. I honestly have to say I neved in my wildest dreams imagined the outcome of their union. I was blown away!
The way how this world was created, how those True Alphas operated, it left me with serious anger management issues. This author really knows how to write! I literally cannot wait what will happen. How this will make Omegas life better, because let's be honest, they got a short straw.
I am so hardcore fan of this world, I even cannot right now.

World-building was unique and well done. I loved learning about the histories of the Rue and how it had changed the roles of Betas, Alphas, and Omagas in main character's world. Well written. Much better than many published books. Check it out for free on Wattpad!
Only downside was occasional stupidity of the main character. She is supposed to a great soldier and tried very hard to save her Omega friends and sisters from the Lobo Alphas... but then leads them straight to them because she needs directions. She did it more than once too. (

This is a good little bodice ripper. I read it awhile back. It's ashame you have to go to Wattpad to read it. I'd love to own a copy. The other reviews are spot on. I have nothing to really add. It had the potential to be a five star. I just wanted a little more.

DNF. For any wanting to read this, the big Hero abuses Cyene every time she shows defiance and independence. He bruises her wrist, almost breaks her legs to force her into submission. She said she didn't want to be kissed, but he says "You wanted it," and continues forcing her to lay under him. Coersion, betrayal. No. I don't think I made it past three chapters. I don't think I can handle it if he actually rapes her, and I'm not sticking around to find out of she does.

Wow! I can't say enough! It is dark, there is non con and dub con, but all this leads to an amazing enemies to fated mates story that is actually believable. The way Alexandra Rey made the characters turn this relationship into love was unique in the genre and made me love the book more. The world building is among the top of her contemporaries. I can't say enough for a new author!!! Wow!!!

This book irked me from beginning to end. As I kept reading, the hope for change and growth crashed and burned tragically. What I hate the most in this world is a person having her choices taken away from her - watching someone trample all over her soul was dreadful.

I normally love a dark omega verse story, but Cyrene just rubbed me the wrong way. I just found her to be too righteous or something. I’m not even sure righteous is the correct word. I understand her wanting to stand up for her people, but she was like the ONLY one taking up the charge. Even her king didn’t protect her people. Why she absolutely HAD to take on everything, I never really understood. I don’t know, maybe I don’t like a “one woman show.”

Wording seemed to pull it out of the time theme, felt more like 20th century times with wording, but not the technology.

I was honestly surprised how well I like this book. For people who like omegaverse themes like alpha, beta, and omega humanoids I would suggest giving this a look.
It wasn't too dark I thought it would be much worse.
We have Cyrene and omega from the south who is an a lead archer in a war party who meets Demois an alpha from the north who is possessed with a berserker spirited.
Demois wants Cyrene and he means to get there by any means necessary.
What's not to like? Come on a hot dominate alpha and an actually strong willed omega.

An amazing story. I did not expect to enjoy it this much. It was really well-thought and quite exciting. The moment I started reading it I couldn't leave it a sec. Always the curiosity of what is gonna happen next. Yes, there were soooo many spelling mistakes and definitely it needs a good cleaning but as the writer mentioned it is going to have this treatment before it is published. I will definitely add this to my library. Dying to read the second book.

July 24, 2021 A very good OmegaVerse story that I highly recommend to anyone that likes a fairly decently written OV story. The story has some typos, but not that many and it is fairly well written in my opinion. I liked the H and I liked the h, they are both well developed and I felt like I understood them. I particularly liked that this particular OV story had the characters using Bow & Arrow and Swords and Axes and Spear tech, it made for a rather unique take on a OV story.

Absolutely fantastic read, loved it! Since this only had a few reviews and from an unpublished source I was unsure of how good it would be, but I decided to trust the highest reviews and give it a shot and this book exceeded my expectations. Hoping to see more stories from this author in the future!

This had similar vibes to The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley. But here the h was strong from the beginning while in TGD the h gained strength a little later on. Honestly I kinda stumbled on this by accident when I heard it about it, but I'm glad I found this. Fyi you can read this on Wattpad, heard the author might publish it, so go ahead and purchase it, it's good!

I wanted to like this book, the premise was something that intrigued me. I kept waiting for the Omega to one be vindicated and two be treated well. I didn't finish reading this book so I will never know how it ended. The Alpha was a dick, sexist and abusive. In his attempt to "woo" her, he forced her, hurt her and was just awful. Not to my liking. F
