Sweet interactive book about the one that stand out. Memories of Sesame Street and "Which one doesn't belong". Pictures can be a bit dizzying.

5* art
3* concept

Oh this is funny, Squirt is one of those kids who refuses to be tested. So when I tell him to look for the one that's different, he finds it, but won't show me, tries to hide it, or even tells me he can't find it (but when I try to turn the page he quickly points to it)! What is thatabout?!! Makes me laugh, anyway.

Stunning illustrations but because of the size and detail, is better for one-on-one sharing, and not with a group.

This was the favorite of the books I read to Alena today. I like that it's not just a "spot the difference" book but also has descriptive rhymes. The illustrations are simple and the differences appropriately challenging. Alena enjoyed my happy moments of discovery.

I loved this spotting book. Wow did I ever find some pages hard, but many pages my little Zander who is 4 could do with the hint each page gave. Funny how it's so hard to see things and then once you see them you can always see them. It's a perfect book to talk about how not everything is always what you think.

** Talking Points - Finding some of the odd ones out were hard to find, and then were easy to see. What have you done that was hard and first and then easy? At first glance every one of the creatures on the pages look the same, but they aren't. What else in your life has been different than it seemed at first? What has been the same as it seemed at first?

** Essential Oil Pairing Tip - Need something to boost your brain power? Try doTERRA's InTune or doTERRA's Thinker. Roll it on to your forehead by your hairline or just a little below. You're going to love the way they smell!

The Odd One Out is a rhyming picture book that interactive. This book talks about each animal and rhymes what they look like. They then say something to to go and find what on the other page what they are talking about.

I like this book because the pictures are great, but also its interactive. Students or kids can read about the animals, like it's a song and look for the object that the author wrote about.

I would use this in my classroom because kids could take a break from school work, and try to find all the objects the author is talking about on the pages. This also would be a great tool for teaching poetry to kids while having fun.

This series is a great quick dip-in for kids. I've found it works well for around ages 5-8 who need that 1-2 minute break with something to focus their attention for emotional regulation. Other than that, kids just really enjoy search-and-find.

Love this spotting book by Teckentrup. The rhyming stanzas for what you are to spot are what makes the book.

A little tough for my young 4 year old but he was able to find most with some prompting.

Such a fun hidden picture book, and I personally find the illustrations much more appealing than something like Where's Waldo?

Great book for a class of five year olds as a circle time group activity! The book provides a launch pad for a discussion on animals while teaching good observation skills.
