It was a nice suspenseful romantic read. Anna besides being a princess, was a great hacker! She came across a bounty on a man who happened to be royal also, and she’s on a mission to save him.
I enjoyed the plot and the characters were wonderful. I would have liked the relationship of Anna and Logan to be more developed.

*3.15 HACKER STARS*
I liked this, but I think it could have been better.
The premise sounded very appealing to me, I mean, who doesn't like a badass hacker princess with some romance thrown in the mix?
But here's my issue: the main focus was on the romance, while I wanted to see a lot more action.
And not that kind of action, because we got plenty of that, if you know what I mean lol.
I did breeze through this in just 2 days though. Things started picking up by the end, and what a huge cliffhanger! I wasn't planning on picking up the second book, but I might just have to!

Wow. This book was absolutely excellent. I had been on a kick of doing only dark romance duets and this was completely different in more romantic suspense but with a twist- royalty was thrown in. I have not read this author before, but now I am kicking myself that I have not checked out more by them.
Princess Susanna can wear many hats, she can be the perfect princess as well as the tomboy hanging out with her older brothers. There is also another side of her that no one knows, a secret life that she loves that also happens to be super dangerous.
She uncovers a scheme that a hit has been placed for just a regular guy, but he is not just a regular guy, Logan is a royal and he has no idea that he is a prince or that his life is in danger.
You HAVE to read this book and delve deeper in to this world. The characters are absolutely wonderful with a fierce princess leading the way with a reluctant unknowing prince and the story line is excellent with making sure everything moves in an extremely fluid pace. Add in a bit of lust and trust and you have the makings of a perfect book 1 in a duet.
I HIGHLY recommend checking out this book and leave you with just one question:
What would you do if you uncovered a scheme for murder? Would you take things in your own hands and try to save the prince or would you call the authorities?
PS: This is a duet--- there IS a cliffhanger!!

This definitely piqued my interest from the start. What isn’t exciting about a rebellious princess?? Am I right? The suspense continues to build through to the end when we reach the epic cliffy.
Princess Susanna isn’t your typical princess. No, she has a hidden side that is nothing expected or accepted of a royal- especially not a princess.
She has a curiosity and intelligence about her that just puts her in a league of her own. And with that curiosity she gets herself trapped in a web where she and everyone she loves is now in danger. But see, she’s not just a smart rebel- she’s brave. And these events that start to unfold only shows those around her just how brave she truly is.
I was enthralled with this story the whole time. Susanna’s story is a new kind of “princess” story for the modern girls. Less fairytale and more badass.

This is a great royal romance that had me rooting for the kick-butt heroine throughout all her adventures. The dynamics between her and her brothers were such fun to read about! I can't wait for book 2 as I MUST know how it all ends!!

Fierce Princess by S.E. Rose is book One in The Poisoned Pawn Duet. This starts the story of Logan and Susanna 'Anna'.
Anna has several 'hats' that she wears. One of course is being a Princess but that is just the outside look but looking further into her you will see she is very smart hacker, can be one of the guys with her brother's Auggie and Chris but she also has a dangerous side of her. This we see when she is looking into finding her mother's missing crown that disappeared when she was killed. While doing her research she comes across a hit being put on Logan. Anna goes forward to warn him which ends up setting off their emotions for each other from first sit.
This does end with a cliffhanger setting us up for the book two 'A Valiant Prince' which of course continues their story.

A Fierce Princess is book 1 in The Poisoned Pawn duet. This book was absolutely amazing. From start to finish I was drawn in and could not put this down.
The story is told from Princess Savannah's point of view and had such an original plot line and amazing characters.
Princess Susanna quickly became one of my absolute favorite heroines with her amazing hacking abilities and drive to solve the family mystery surrounding her mother's missing crown. When she stumbles upon another mystery things become even more interesting and intense.
Full of mystery, suspense, drama and some serious chemistry between the characters this book truly has it all.

S E Rose's intricate story of suspense and lies and deceptions and love held me captive for hours. We follow Princess Anna's journey as she tries to save man that she believes is a illegitimate child of a neighboring king. This story has it all and I can not wait for book two.

Nuestra princesa es una persona fuerte y de caracter impulsivo, criada con sus dos hermanos lucha por lo que quiere y no le basta con ser la princesa recatada y elegante que debería ser ante los demas.
Además conocemos a Logan, narrador de la segunda parte de la bilogía, un chico que sin saberlo resulta ser un principe y por el que han puesto precio a su cabeza. Sussana intentará ayudarle y descubrir quién está detrás de todo.
La parte del misterio y suspense está bien llevada, y luego la relación que surge entre los protagonistas. Tal vez ha sido lo último lo que me ha gustado menos ya que hay algunas escenas que no tienen mucho sentido teniendo en cuenta la situación en la que se encuentran de tensión.
Por lo general la historia está muy bien y tiene un final de infarto. Estoy deseando leer A valiant prince ya y ver cómo termina todo.

Susanna leads a double life, before her family she does what every princess has to do, but on the other hand she is a hacker who looks for the lost crown of her mother by the deep network. Our princess is a strong and impulsive person, raised with her two brothers fighting for what she wants, because it is not enough to be the demure and elegant princess that others want her to be.
In addition we meet Logan, narrator of the second part of the duology, a boy who unknowingly turns out to be a prince and for which they have put a price on his head. Susanna will try to help him and find out who is behind everything.
The part of the mystery and suspense is well done, and then we have the relationship that arises between the main characters. Maybe it was this last thing that I liked the least since there are some scenes that do not make much sense considering the situation in which they find themselves, in tension.
In general, the story is very good and the end almost gave me a heart attack. I'm looking forward to reading A valiant prince and see how it all ends.

I couldn't get enough of A Fierce Princess. In fact I'm dying to get my hands on A Valiant Prince like now. Ugh that cliffy...but so worth it. S.E Rose does a fantastic job bringing you into the world of the royals while giving you all these twists and turns that keep you glued to the pages. You are just going to love Princess Susanna (Anna). She has her secrets and she knows how to take care of herself. She's super smart and knows her way around a computer. With that being said just watch her work her magic to save a long lost prince. That's when Logan enters the picture. I just love him and I can't wait to find out more about him as this story continues. The sparks are so strong between Logan and Anna that you are going to just love them. Oh lets not forget Anna's brothers Auggie and Chris. I love their banter. I can't wait for the next book. I'm dying to know what happens and who is behind everything. This is a go one clicker.

Well, shoot. Now I have to wait for the second half of the duet to find out what happens and WHO we need to be worrying about! Okay, whining aside, this was a fantastic book. Anna and her antics kept me reading page after page until I couldn’t find another page to read. She’s definitely NOT your average princess, nor is this your average “princess meets man and falls in love” fairytale type of story. She, her brothers, and Logan embark on a dangerous search to find out who is trying to end a special someone’s life, but every time she thinks she’s close, another obstacle is thrown in her path. Will Anna and Logan get their HEA without to much carnage? I don’t flipping know!
All I do know is that I couldn’t put this book down and that I need to find patience to wait for its conclusion. Well done, S.E. Well done.

This book was so captivating, it has me glued to it from the beginning. Princess Susanna or known by her family as Anna lives a secret life as a computer hacker who can find almost anything. She stumbles upon a bounty for someone, Logan Winters, and it intrigues her by how unusual of a hit it is on a commoner. She ends up on an amazing vacation, which happens to be on Logan’s yacht, with her brothers as one last hurrah before she takes on her princess duties but what will happen when she tries to save Logan from the bounty on his head?
This book is the perfect combination of instant attraction, action and family secrets that change everything. The end will keep you guessing what happens next until A Valiant Prince is released.

This is one of the best books I’ve read in 2019! I am positively stunned! Ahhhh! I need book two immediately!
Susanna is not a typical princess by any means. Yes, she can be polite and refined when she needs to be, but she’s also fierce and a brilliant hacker. I admire her bravery and her determination to live life on her own terms as much as possible.
Logan is strong and brave as well, much what you would expect of a prince...except that he doesn’t know he’s a prince! I honestly couldn’t find a single fault with him. He is positively swoon worthy.
The plot is angst ridden and action packed. I was spellbound throughout the book and found it difficult to put down. I’m still guessing at who M is and then second guessing myself.
I am anxiously awaiting book two; it can’t be published fast enough! I need to know that Susanna and Logan are alright. At least I really hope they are! SE Rose, you’re killing me with the suspense!

I freaking loved this book!!!! I think I read it within a few days, I couldn’t put it down!!!
Princess Susanna is a bad ass princess who has a secret, she is one of the best hackers and if trying to figure out what happened with her mother’s death. She happens to stumble on an assassin trying to take out this ‘random’ guy for a really big price. Once she starts digging she founds out he isn’t just a random guy but the heir to the throne, a prince! She decides to go with her brother who happens to be going to the same island and try and save this guy without complete telling him. This story is so freaking awesome and has so many twists and turns and steamy!!!! I couldn’t put this book down and highly recommend it!!!!! Will they survive the journey? Will she save her prince? You will have to read to find out!!

Wow! A Fierce Princess BLEW ME AWAY and S.E. Rose is a New Author for me!! CAPTIVATED me from the Very Beginning and never a Dull moment page after page! It has all the feels and the banter between the siblings are fantastic plus keeps you on your toes! Such an Suspenseful Mysterious Adventure that keeps you guessing until the Very End But with a CLIFFHANGER- OMFG!!! CANNOT WAIT FOR THE CONCLUSION of This Duet of a Series!!

I loved this book, fast paced and fun and as the title suggests with a fierce female lead. I loved ‘Anna’ and Logan, they are great relatable and more importantly likeable characters you can feel for. This does end on a cliffhanger though, so I really need book two. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this book! Warning...it ends in a huge cliffhanger. This has a princess, Susanna, aka Anna, who lost her mother when she was young and was raised by a loving father with her equally loving brothers Chris and Auggie. She is a hacker and finds out there been a hit put out on someone for a ridiculous amount of money. After more research she find he is the secret child of a neighboring king that is a family friend. Anna is intent on saving the handsome charter boat owner, Logan, by booking a trip and finds herself falling for him. This has action, suspense and hot hot hot steamy sexy scenes. I can’t wait for the conclusion of this duet!

If you're looking for a book with a kickass heroine, some seriously steamy moments, and a story that is driven by mystery and suspense; then look no further, you found it. So this is Book 1 of a duet, and Book 1 is from Princess Susanna's (Anna to her friends) perspective and ends on a cliffhanger. I know, I know, cliffhanger, but...you won't have to wait long for Book 2, which is from our hero's perspective. The characters are truly likeable. This is a sort of insta-love story, but it doesn't feel rushed and flows really well. The chemistry is there between our main character's, but the sexy times do not kick in until much later in the book. I was wrapped up in the entire story the whole time and couldn't put this book down. I've got so many theories on who the villain(s) are.

A Fierce Princess, Book 1 in the Poisoned Pawn Duet is a romantic suspense by one of my favorite discoveries last year, the fabulous, S.E. Rose. Princess Susanna, Anna to her family, is on the verge of graduating from college and having to serve her country running some of her mom’s charities. She would much rather be a spy/computer hacker but that isn’t a fit occupation for a Princess. Without going into too much detail, Anna has stumbled on a hit placed on the dark web. Will she be able to save the victim? Will she figure out who is behind the murder for hire? Will she lose her heart in the process?? Stay tuned for book 2.
