The couple: Nathan and Angie
Romance genre: second chance
Length: 105 pages
Plot: Nathan and Angie met while on a vacation in Hawaii and while they would like to see if things will work out, she lives in California and he lives in Florida. Nevertheless, she gives him her contact information at the airport after their few days together. He promptly loses the paper and then frantically tries to find her for the following month. He finds her, purely by accident, and shows up, ready to make amends in any way possible. After all, when love is meant to be, you just know!
Commentary: Well this was just a couple of mature people doing their best to make things work! How adult! Nathan was amazing, doing whatever it took to be with Angie and always taking the time to soothe her anxiety in the meantime. I was a little annoyed with her sister for taking her to task for not telling her about Nathan right away. I get that they share everything, normally, but I don't think it was cool to try and make her feel bad - while she was trying to get Angie to watch her three kids on a weekend when she already had plans! That was very badly done. Nathan saved the day, but her sister owed her an apology.
Anyways, great book as always from this author!

I absolutely love Mayra Statham and how she brings a story together. Nathan and Angie meet on a Hawaiian vacation, with a chemistry that leaves them both thinking that they were made for each other. Living on opposite ends of the US gives them pause as neither believes that a long distance relationship can work, but each hopes that the other might want to at least try. Losing Angie’s contact info, Nathan tries to find his Island girl for almost a month, and finally finding her through a mutual friend. With a plan in place Nathan does whatever it takes to get his girl back, luckily Angie is willing and can’t help but fall for this man that is doing so much to be with her. When Kismet steps in and brings two people HOME, when they never thought they would have it is Swoon Worthy. I can’t get enough of the Hope Falls Novellas, definitely one click this baby now!!

Mayra weaves a wonderful tale of people finding their soul mates.
Angie meets Nathan while she's working and he's on holiday. Right from the start the reader is drawn to their togetherness. They fit and all seems right. When they are at the airport to go their separate ways, it's painful.
The punch in the gut you feel when Nathan can't find her number. It is an irresistible story and I loved it.

Such a sweet and sexy story about Christmas, family, and fate. Nathan and Angie met by chance, but had odds stacked against them. If they could make it work, they'd know they were meant to be. I loved the secondary characters too; Cat, Elena and her three kids, especially Freddie. I love heartwarming stories like this.

I loved this story. Safe, faithful during separation, no ow/om, swoon hero. Some stories I'm cool with no epilogue, not this one. I needed one. I need to see more beauty of the couple. Sigh

Cookies & Kismet is a swoon-worthy love story. Christmas has never been so sweeter and cuter. After this story I can never look at snickerdoodles the same LOL!

OK I know I have said in the past that I am not a big fan of insta love but when it's done the right way you have to just go with it. And this is the perfect example of how it's done. These two together are absolutely swoon worthy and as individuals they are good people with good hearts. When kismet steps in how can you fight it. A beautiful story of imperfect people finding the perfect love with the help of kismet.
I can't say enough about this author and her style of writing although this is most definitely a steamy read she always makes sure the story flows with it and that makes it so worth while. Great read and one that will definitely get your blood to pumping.

Mayra Statham has done it again, Cookies & Kismet is a beautiful love story. Nathan is the male lead he is sexy, successful, an alpha character that goes after what he wants. Angie is the female lead , she is beautiful and independent. I enjoyed everything about this story from beginning to end and the cookie making in between. Absolutely loved this addition to Kindle World of Hope Falls. If you are looking for a short, sweet and sexy time between the sheets this story is for you. Happy Reading!!📚📚

Do you believe in instant love? Nathan and Angie certainly made me a believer. They meet on vacation but decide to go their but life and a mishap get in the way. Two people with hot instant chemistry living completely separate lives on different coasts, can love find a way to bring them back together? What a beautiful story for Nathan and Angie! I loved it and soaked up avery word. Read this, you will not be disappointed.

Cookies and Kismet by Mayra Statham is a novella in the Hope Falls series. It's a contemporary romance about fate and destiny with sweet and swoonworthy moments all during the festive season.
Both main characters Ange and Nathan were written well and their relationship was interesting and unique to follow.
As with most of Mayras stories, Cookies and Kismet was easy to read, had humour, had emotions, had it all. Hope Falls is one of my favourite places to visit.

Love this! Second chance romance is my favorite and this was right up my alley! This was fun and sweet and a wonderful holiday read! Once I started, I couldn't stop! The characters and the storyline are great and it is a perfect length if you want something fun and quick. Definitely want to add this to your holiday reading list!

What a cute, sweet and quick read! I love Hope Falls! I would live there! This is Angie and Nathan's story. They met on vacation and sizzled but they live on opposite coasts. How do they work this out? You need to read it to find out! This book is great for when you are short on time! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed your book. It was light, funny,sexy, and such a great love story. Perfect read to get prepared for the holidays. The characters were great and so sweet. I loved this sweet (with a side of sexy) romance. Nathan and Angie meet randomly and are immediately taken with each other. I love these two together, he is super sweet and sexy, she's smart and sweet, they both compliment the other well. I loved the sexy moments these two shared while making cookies. Great holiday romance-one of the best I've read.

I freaking loved this book. I love the main characters. Their interactions are great. I was hooked from the very beginning and it never let me go. Its cute, fun, sexy and amazing.

I love Nathan.. This was a really great read for the holiday. Grab some hot coco and sit in front of the fireplace kind of read. I highly reccomend this story. Mayra is amazing.
