Very useful (excepting the last section on later reception, which I was mostly not interested in). Good overviews.

The essay on Caesar's character in Suetonius did mention Caesar and Nicomedes, but only in passing, and it actually referred to the rumor that Caesar was Nicomedes' "Ganymede" -- and not specifically just Memmius' cupbearer story but referring to the whole rumor of the affair. That's ridiculous in a book published in the last 10 years.
