Pandaman was not only used in a chapter of the manga but would later return as a recurring cameo character in Oda's own works.

Este tomo ha sido mucho más llevadero que el anterior. Incluso, me he reído cuando han rememorado ciertas escenas de arcos anteriores. ¿Cómo olvidar ese diálogo tan absurdo en Thriller Bark entre Sanji y Absalom? (Los que lo han leído-visto sabrán de que hablo).

Igualmente, esto no deja ser una introducción al arco con la presentación en cada capitulo de futuros enemigos y aliados. Yo, lo siento, me quedo con las caras, los nombres ya son otra cosa. A por el siguiente.

Luffy fights Kaido and the fight is as expected and then there is the thing with Zoro meeting this guy named Yasu meanwhile others are in Flower Capital to learn more about Shogun orochi and his dealings and then Komurasaki enters whose super hot and has a deep connection to whatever is going on and then there is the stuff with Kaido and Big mom arriving and that ending which was new! And then Luffy and Kidd in Jail which will result in a great face off with Queen and break out possibly. Loved this volume a lot.

Es tan emotiva y a la vez muy divertida.
Ellos son heroícos (Aunque no les guste admitirlo) y a la vez unos payasos.
Hay unos encuentros suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper buenos, y unos eventos por desarollarse que seguro serán INCREÍBLES.
¡Como amo esta historia!

WANO COUNTRY ARC - PART 2
1. is kaido a zoan or artificial smile devil user?
2. one day, traffy for sure will lie dead in a ditch because luffy is the reason for his abnormal high blood pressure
3. when traffy wanted to intervene and opened his room, he also got hit by a sea prism needle that took his stamina, but...did his observation haki not work? could he not have dodged it?
4. using supreme king haki while unconscious is insane aura
5. WHERE DID ZORO GO BTW?? WHY DID HE HOP DOWN ONTO THE DOCK, EATING SUSHI WHEN HE TOLD LUFFY HE WAS GONNA MEET UP WITH HIM WHATS WRONG WITH THIS GUY
6. the way they're pulling luffy on the ground alongside his chains reminds me of achilles and hector in troy
7. i think living with dracule mihawk would be great, and he would be great and everything would be great, and i love him, please let me live with him
8. that's kinda really cute of moria that he worried about absolom, and therefore went to look for him and find out if he's okay, he cares about his subordinates!
9. luffy tries to play innocent but can't even whistle. i love that through i don't know how many chapters, this guy didn't learn it ONCE

KO LUFFY MAN TF 😭😭😭😭 kaido means BUSINESS. i love seeing all of the people and the new villages and lands of wano. MY QUEEN. KOMURASAKI. OMGGGG AND LITTLE TOKO. but my fav moment (besides fucking KIDD becoming relevant again) is law fanboying. THIS IS WHY I LOVE LAW. HES JUST SOME BIG FUCKING NERD UGH. law the type of guy to be like “erm actually” 🤓☝️

Brutal. Luffy's faced many defeats on his career, but none so quick or decisive or overwhelming. Just a few ineffectual hits, then SMACK! It does a good job establishing the power of an Emperor... but on the other hand, it also establishes how much quick shonen power-upping Luffy will need to do in order to face this challenge. Gone are the days of Sir Crocodile when powers and abilities can be countered with clever action and puzzle-solving: it's all about raw power now. Shame, that.
Made for some legendary reactions, though. They're up there with Enel as one of the best ever.
And then Komurasaki. Oda's trying to build her up as a morally ambiguous and potentially even depraved individual, but I don't know. He's been pulling this angle often enough that I don't really buy it anymore.

Sigue avanzando la historia, termino el primer acto con la primera derrota de Luffy ante Kaido jjsjsj de un solo golpe y de ahí a prisión con el objetivo de romper su espíritu para unirlo a su tripulación.
Empieza el segundo acto, aparecen más personajes entre ellos nos presentan a Orochi, el shogun actual de Wano. Los muwis siguen haciendo sus misiones aunque algunos ya las han tenido que abortar por diferentes problemas, entre ellos Franky y Sanji y ahora mismo Robin está en peligro.
Sanji activo el poder del Germa xd para luchar contra Page One.
Cómo comentaba Luffy está en prisión, se encontró allá con Kid y Caribou, el del lodo XD y está el viejito que va a ayudar a Luffy prontamente.
Por otro lado hizo aparición Komurasaki, la cortesana de mayor nivel y como su trabajadora Toko la niña del pueblo Ibisu, los que rien. Se viene una de las historias buenas de Wano 🫢

Saga 10: Wano Country
Arc 31: Wano Country
Kaido shoot his Blast Breath toward the Oden's Castle. Luffy changed into Gear 4: Bounce Man charged in to attack Kaido. Kaido falls and turned into human. Kaido used Thunder Bagua to knock off Luffy. Luffy was captured and thrown into prison in Kuri. Suprisingly, there is Kidd who also being captured.
End of Act 1.
Gecko Moria attack Hachinosu Island where Blackbeard Pirates stay. He wants Absalom who is kidnapped by them.
Act 2 begin.
The other two Lead Performers was introduced; Queen the Plague and King the Wildfire. In Flower Capital, Straw Hat Pirates starting to distribute rebellion flyers in order to recruit samurai to join their forces. Sanji open a soba stall and he was encountered by Denjiro's men. The Tobi Roppo, Page One and X Drake come to see what happened. Sanji used raid suit that given by Niji to become a Stealth Black and fight against Page One.
The Oiran of Wano, Komurasaki and the Shogun of Wano, Kurozumi Orochi are introduced. Robin was searching for the information about the poneglyphs and she was caught by a group of Orochi personal ninja called Oniwabanshu led by Fukurokuju.
Big Mom Pirates comes to Wano but King stopped the ship from reaching Wano. Big Mom fall into the sea and stuck ashore near Kuri Beach. Chopper, Otama, Okiku and Momonosuke found her but she was having amnesia.

Saw a bit of a bump in quality in this arc after being lukewarm to Wano’s introduction last volume.
We’re still getting a lot of exposition dumps and subplots getting set up which slows things up. But there was at least some more action this time around. Right off the bat we got Luffy fighting (drunk) Kaido and while Luffy lands some good hits, he’s almost immediately trounced. One Piece has done similar moments like this to show Luffy is outclassed by the main villain of an arc before finally beating them (i.e., Crocodile) but to have it happen so quickly was wild but appreciated (and badass that even while unconscious Luffy’s haki is still so strong). Likewise we have Luffy and Eustass' prison fight against their jailers, Sanji embracing his hated family persona, a brief interlude to check in with Blackbeard (my personal favorite of the volume), and Kaido and Big Mom fighting one another to give some needed excitement. Plus we had some funny moments (i.e., finally saw Robin’s iconic weird face after seeing screenshots of it) and heartwarming parts (Sanji giving the last of soba noodles to a little girl everyone is taken with).
So there’s still a way to go with the arc but at least this was more entertaining than the last volume.

My only regret is that Oda-sensei didn't stretch Sanji's mahou shoujo transformation sequence into a whole chapter.

A LOT of interesting stuff happened in this volume. I’m very interested to see where all the plotlines are headed because this seems to be the most complicated story so far!!

Some really cool fights and it is interesting to finally see what the ancient devil fruits are actually called. Kind of disappointed by Orochi's design but maybe that will change when we actually see him fight later in the arc.

2025 reread : I love this volume. it's the classic "Luffy fights the main vilain of the arc for the first time, gets his ass kicked and realizes he must get stronger if he wants to win". But this time there is a bonus just for me : Kid is in prison with Luffy ! I've become a big fan of Kid over the year so I'm really glad to have him present fir this arc.
I also enjoyed getting a glimpse at other places and people between act 1 and act 2. This arc is very long so it's nice to not be entirely left in the dark about what is happening elsewhere.
Finally we get some more character introduction, the cast in this arc is particularly big and I am very grateful that they were not all intoduced at once.
This gets 5 stars purely on that Perona and Mihawk cameo. I love this pairing, no use pretending otherwise.
I've technically already read this in scans but I'm reading this in volumes for the first time. I feel like there's a lot to keep track of and this truly is the most ambitious arc so far. Many moving pieces and lots of groundwork to lay down before we can launch straight into a fight. Considering that, this is not my favorite volume. But it will probably be one that I look back on in a bit and realize how important to the story it was.

Muy buen tomo, la trama está avanzando a muy buen ritmo y no hay tiempo para el aburrimiento, y el argumento transcurre de una manera ágil y dinámica que hace que sea muy fácil leerlo. Las cosas se están poniendo muy interesantes en Wano, y el sentido del humor, la acción y lo emotivo que tiene Oda es, como siempre, genial. Me gusta que los mugiwaras que apenas han salido en los tomos anteriores estén ocupando cada vez más viñetas, y como está poniéndose todo cada vez más interesante con la llegada de Big Mom a Wano (estoy deseando ver su encuentro con Kaido) y lo que puede salir de tener a Luffy y Kid juntos en la prisión. Hasta el capítulo en que nos alejamos de la isla para volver a encontrarnos con Moira (ya casi ni me acordaba de él) y los piratas de a Barbanegra me ha parecido muy bien colocado dentro del volumen, y me ha dejado con muchas dudas y misterios que espero que se resuelvan pronto.
