She thought her son would be fine if she left him in the car.
It was after all just for a few minutes while she went to grab something at the store. It was no big deal. But when Mrs. Cunningham came back out from the store, the car was empty, and her 5-year-old boy was gone.
In a town filled with dark secrets, who will you dare to believe?
Reporter Rebekka Franck is traveling to central Florida to interview a famous author when the body of a young boy turns up inside an abandoned house.
The death of the boy leaves the small town of Webster horror-stricken.
Forty years ago, another little boy was found killed in that exact same house.
Now they are all asking Will it end here?
As Rebekka Franck digs deep into the story, she realizes this town is harboring a lot of secrets that some people will go to extremes to keep hidden.

This finale to me was one of the more suspenseful in the series as Rebekka's involvement opened up old wounds in the town of Webster. Held my attention with the twists and turns and surprising when the truth was revealed. I thought Rebekka made the right choice when it came to Sune. Good ending

Queen of the ultimate mystery has done it again! I did not see the twist at the end coming at all. I thought I had it figured out and then PLOT TWIST!! I love this story and maybe I even forgive Sune now that he saved Rebekka's life. Glad there might be a happy ending for her after all ❤
Great ending to a good series. As a mother, this story really touched my heart. The characters are well fleshed out, and you empathize for them, cry with them. As usual, the clues are there for the taking, however, one slipped by me and so, the revelation at the end came as a surprise. The reason I deducted 1/2 star was because, again ... as usual, the editing and proofreading job is atrocious! Such a shame, but I can no longer continue to read her work because of this!

Absolutely brilliant, I read the whole book in a few hours as I was completely engrossed! Amazing work from this fabulous Author who deserves more than 5* in my opinion!! I was hooked yet again from the very beginning but am behind in getting up all my reviews because novels keep sucking me into their worlds! This one has got to be classed as my favorite now without a doubt. This story is full of twists and turns which just keeps ramping up the suspense level. I found myself a fair few times shouting out loud to the kindle as I just ciuldn't believe what I just read. Such a very well developed plot that is based on true events and it flows so incredibly well. Well developed and loved characters that we are familiar with and even if you aren't it won't impact on reading this one. Wow what an ending!!!! I truly thought I had figured this out then the mother of all plot twists!!!! I would highly recommend you get this book, plus rest of series if you haven't already. Can't shout loud enough how excellent this one is!!!
I received a free ARC but this is my own honest voluntary review.
Suspension of disbelief is not my greatest skill, so a lot of novels try me past the point of bearing. This one wasn’t too bad, though there are some aspects that I hope are fictional, such as the apparent acceptability of incompetence, political influence and negligence on the part of local law enforcement. As this is a not infrequent theme in American novels and doesn’t even seem to raise eyebrows, I suspect this is not the case.
I do wish that people would put in the effort to do a little basic medical research. Children’s fingers are smaller than adults, but are not magical. If pressed firmly enough they still bruise. Either both carotid arteries need to be occluded, or the trachea, to cause death from oxygen deprivation. Tracheal occlusion will definitely cause damage visible on autopsy.
Also, any single abdominal stab wound that caused sufficient damage to destroy both kidneys - which, for reference are located to either side of the spine BEHIND all the other organs - would most likely have ended up with the rest of her organs looking like fruit salad, and at the very least, quantities of bowel being removed, probably with the associated (but far from sexy) colostomy. Frankly the kidney diversion was self indulgent and improbable diversion into Hallmark territory which caused me to lose a lot of respect for the author. If you can tolerate these diversions, it’s a solid 3.5 stars. For me, 2.5 stars.
This final installment of the Rebekka Franck series was by far the most nail biting breath taking, all around "You Have Got to be Kdding Me" book of the entire series. Rebekka Franck is attracted to danger like a moth to a flame. This final book is no different. She goes out of town to do an interview with a best selling author, only to find herself caught up in the murder of a little boy. As the investigation unfolds she gets pulled in deeper while struggling with being away from her children, whom Sune is reluctantly taking care of. Add the fact that her daughter, Julie is still struggling from being kidnapped in the previous book and missing Sune help leaves Rebekka fighting to cope. The last Few chapters are a non stop, racing like a bad out of hell going Mack 5 with your hair on fire run to an incredible end. I was very happy that Sune finally pulled his head out of his butt, stepped up and acted like a grown man. I was equally glad that Rebecca received a visit out of the blue that will finally put her personal life on the right track. This is an excellent series that I would highly recommend to all of my book nerd friends. The facts and the details and each story actually enhance rather than bog down the action and I thoroughly enjoyed every aggravating part of it. Well Done Willow Rose! I Look forward to reading Jack Ryder.
Although this sounds like an action-packed real life horror story, I found it to be quite boring . I had such high hopes and expectations for this book but it just did not hit its mark. First off there was just way too many characters. So many in fact that it made it really hard to keep up with all of them. (There was a whole town of them ). I just couldn't connect to the characters at all. I honestly did not care what their outcomes were in the situation one way or the other because I just wasn't connecting. There was just way too many of them and the story was all over the place. Just when you were getting into one story line, *poof*, you’d suddenly be with someone else or jump back in time or up in time. I think the story would have worked much better with alot less POV’s. Between that and the fact it jumps from the past to present so often ,it left me very confused. I found myself having to go back and re read alot of the chapters because i was so lost. This was the first time I actually read any part of the Rebekka Franck Mystery Series or anything by this author. I have a few more books by this that i am willing to try later down the road.
This is my first Willow Rose book. Although Goodreads reviews show many fans, sadly, I cannot be one them. I suppose if you like to read about child murders, crazy car chases, corruption and conspiracy in a small Florida town, multitude revenge homicides, improbable physical struggles where the heroine reporter Rebrkka Franck always manages to conquer the foe, perhaps you will enjoy this novel.
I found its frequent time alternation confusing, its plethora of characters a little much, the introduction of a previously unmentioned character late in the story puzzling, and its whirlwind conclusion overwhelming.
In her afterword, the author states the book is based on not one but two true stories. Perhaps this abundance of information overstimulated the author' imagination, leading to a dizzying number 9f mysteries, some of which you didn't know were mysteries until the solution was suddenly revealed. The end result of all this drama was a lot of ruined lives and dead bodies with only the heroine rising from the carnage to piece together her shattered life...and go on to the next novel in this ongoing series.
IT ENDS HERE, by Willow Rose is a, Can't put down read... A NON-STOP to the very end!! Years ago in a small Florida town, a young child was murdered. The murderer was never found. Rebekka Frank is no longer with her ex-boyfriend Sune. Barely getting along, for their child and their other childern. Sune is living with the woman, who he had an affair with, causing their breakup. Rebekka is tasked by her employer, to do a magazine article about a local female Author. Not the most pleasant interview Rebekka has ever had to do. After the magazine is published, suddenly a small child goes missing. The boy is found in an abandoned building, that was the site of a similar murder, many years ago. Rebekka drives in to figure out, who the murderer is. An EPIC ENDING!!
A little boy is dead and the scene is eerily similar to another death that occurred in Webster years ago. Rebekka Franck is in town to interview a reclusive author when she sees the police presence at an abandoned house and the comments of an elderly bystander cause her to wonder if there is a link between the two deaths. When the interview with the reluctant author is published it sets off a chain of events that Rebekka could not have anticipated but feels responsible for. She is determined to right the wrongs she has inadvertently caused but powerful people in town would rather she leave the past alone.
This is another fast-paced psycho thriller– full of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end. Willow Rose has a writing style that always pulls me in and keeps me reading.
This book had a great storyline with a powerful ending, but in places the grammar was so bad the sentence did not actually make sense!
The constant use of split infinitives in convoluted sentences became really annoying. The use of the wrong words was frustrating and showed limited vocabulary. But the worst of all was the systematic absence of the past perfect tense, which the writer clearly didn’t seem to like! Sorry, but if the sentence needs the past perfect tense then that is what you use.... is it really so difficult to say « she had had ... »?!?!?!?!
from book one, two book 10, the series was wonderful. Each book was a little better than the previous. We definitely got to be present for many, many surprises and twists and turns along the way! In true Willow fashion, you will not be disappointed with the final chapter. There are definitely unexpected twists that will shock and surprise you! while I was reading the series, I also was reading a couple of other series by Willow Rose. You can’t go wrong with her. If you do not like suspense, crime drama, she also writes in a few other genres. You definitely need to check her out! Once again, you will not be disappointed!
It Ends Here is the last book of the Rebekka Franck series. I liked all ten books; all were good, and some were better than others. This was not one of the better ones. Still good. Just not great.
It’s the story of murders of children that happened 40 years ago and how the lives of anyone involved in those murders were messed up big time. Oh yeah, and there are murders today.
The book was, once again, fast-paced, enjoyable, and a page turner. Kudos to the author for a series that kept my interest and gave me reading enjoyment for all ten books. That doesn’t happen often. Usually, I get bored about halfway through a series. Well done, Ms. Rose. Well done.
This story grabs you and makes it hard to put down. The plot keeps you turning pages to learn what is behind the next door that you think you know the contents thereof...Not. So it's nearly a great book. My cons consist of never wanting to hear again that our heroine has again forgotten she does not have Sune. And, the fight scenes are a stretch to believe. Makes one think of Rebekka as a cat 🐱 with 9 lives. Last, less than and more pauses to get it right and more believable.
I read a spectacular book by Willow Rose & looked forward to more. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed. The editing and proofing errors are too many to count.. I gave up highlighting anymore but beyond that it's like the author doesn't know her own Heroine or what she did when... Rebekka' started as likeable character but soon, in my opinion, turned into a simpering idiot bouncing between men like a beach ball. So long .. My nightlights and expanded notes posted to Goodreads. Save your money!
I love the way Willow Rose takes a non fiction and spins it into her world. Anna Bell Burke is just ten years old when she winds up in prison with adults for murder because of her aunt Carol and the town. I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. This book is very well written and Willow brings the characters to life! I recommend that everybody read this fantastic book!
Rebekka returns in an exciting new book , sparking good memories of earlier novels in the series . The old fire returns with a vengeance the characters crackle from from the start , mis-direction s abound keeping you guessing till the end A great read that's renewed my appreciation for Willows work I'd recommend this to mystery tale as one of the very best this year
The author was inspired by a true event to write this amazing, heart-pounding story. Rebekka Franck is in Florida interviewing a famous author when a young boy's body is found inside an abandoned house. The town, with many secrets, is horror stricken. This death is similar to one 40 years ago. This is a stand-alone novel, one to take your breath away. The author, Queen of Scream, has provided a very captivating, well-written thriller. Highly recommend.
I simply fell in love with this series from the first book, "He's Coming for You." The only thing about this series I don't like is the end of it. After reading this last book, I would like to know about Rebekka and David. I'd also like to kbow how her father's doing? Does Julie ever overcome what happened to her? How is her relationshipvwith Sune now that they've both moved on? All these questions, and more. This simply cannot be the end.
Another Rebekka Franck thriller. I could not put this one down. Rebekka goes to interview an author and gets much more. A young boy found dead in an abandoned house. The sheriff calls it an accident. Another boy was found dead in that house years prior. A young girl that was abused was sent to prison for murder. Rebekka digs for more information of these dead children. Other adults are turning up dead. A twisting and thrilling conclusion to this novel.
Not only unpredictable but so many twists and turns it was a little difficult keeping everyone straight. Though I do enjoy the willow Rose books, especially the Rebbeka Frank series this one as crazy as it was kept me wanting more. I was sure Carol was the killer when I found out she helped get her own neice locked up. I never saw the daughter factor come into play. Kiddos for that. Looking forward to more stories.
Great read, what to do now, no Becky to have coffee with every morning?Have read all 10 and I am at a loss. Who is Eva Rae? Is she as interesting as Rebecca? Guess we'll try to find out😢Would recommend to any mystery lover, don't think you will fall asleep I sure didn't. Was very surprised at the end.Was not who I expected, good move Willow Rose 🌹. Loved it.Moving on to check out Eva Rae,hope she's up to the competition😉😆😎👍 Tweety🐦🐦
Willow I have been reading many of your books! U by far are my favorite writer! The stories u come up with are phenomenal never a dull moment! God has given u quite a gift, thanks for sharing your gift with us. I absolutely love all of ur books I have read❤️
I swear, every book I read from Willow Rose seems to get better and better. It Ends Here is no exception. I love how she takes little pieces of true stories that intrigue her and weaves a spellbinding, action packed story around it. But I do have one teensy complaint.......fix Sune and Rebekka!!!! I hate them apart!!
A twisted tale of murder and horrific secrets. I typically like to read a series in order, but the lure of "true crime" was too much for me. Once Gain Willow Rose writes a completely twisted tale of under and mayhem. A page turner you won't e able to put down until the end.
I quite enjoyed this one. Fair few twists but interesting where the author got her ideas. It’s like she is keeping the real stories alive. I like it, they won’t ever really be forgotten and so they shouldn’t. Good read. Happy with the conclusion with sune but I won’t be reading any more from this author. The main character is always in a life threatening position, always misses the obvious.
I haven't wrote my thoughts and feelings about every book in this series chosing to write it after I read the whole series. I loved the series and I didn't think there was anything bad to say about it. I love Willow Rose's books and will eventually read them all.
