I assume that the author of this book isn't a professional. This book is based off an old TV series I've never heard of, so obviously plot and character development wasn't part of the job description. But what were they even thinking? I know it's just a kid's book, and a lot of people assume that kids don't care about good literature, but it's just as important for children to experience good books as it is for adults to. Sure, all the critics are adults, but the young readers will end up having a grudge against reading if they've never experienced a good book. The book is about two twin sisters. Their school is cooperating with another school, a rival, to put on a winter festival with several games between the two schools. One sister signs up with several sports because she wants to impress and outdo a boy from the rival school. She is kicked out of all but one of the sports because she was framed of sabotaging the mascot of the rival school. Her sister is left to help her back on the teams. First of all, it included several cringe-worthy puns. That alone forced me to take away a star. Then, the main character has a crush, and, no joke, he was described like this: "...Ross Lambert, Ashley's crush. Ashley's heart fluttered at the sight of his totally handsome face." And the whole book was written like this. I couldn't get through it. In conclusion, kids need better books to read. Seriously.
It was great and I loved how they just do anything even if its getting in big trouble. I loved it. Its about a ski race. Love is in it and I hope you read the whole series.
Mary Kate loves her sports, but glad Ashley came to the help when something got in the way with Mary Kate competing, she didn't do it. Ashley found out who did and here's to the big win.

The blurb sounds very interesting and I was very curious what this story is about. I didnt had any expectations, because I know that I love these stories even though I am to old for these.
I must say I am very addicted to Marykate ad Ashley books. They are all so good and I know they are easy and not really that good, but when I was younger I loved reading the and they followed my whole entire life. The Book cover is in a blue tone and you can see two girls smiling in the camera with lots of snow. I love the design, its very beautiful.
The writing skills is still as easy and fluid. I didnt had any problems to understood them all. The Story is written very easy so you can understand everything. There are no complicated words in the story. There’s also an acorn magazin where they write stories and some calender
Marykate and Ashley play the heroes in the book. Marykate has to find out who the super athlete is.
The idea of the story is good and easy. I haven’t seen the TV series. So I am addicted to the books and the story is very short to read it. The story is made easy but thats okay. I love these books.
