"NOT EVERYONE WILL UNDERSTAND YOUR JOURNEY. THAT'S FINE. IT'S NOT THEIR JOURNEY TO MAKE SENSE OF. IT'S YOURS." - Zero Dean

What are you supposed to do when you realize the life you have no longer fits the life you want? I don't know. Because what works best for one person doesn't necessarily work best for another. I can, however, tell you what I did.

I quit my job, terminated my lease, and sold everything that wouldn't fit in my car. And this was only the beginning. A short time later, I began a multi-faceted project incorporating five of the things I was most passionate about: Writing, photography, travel, adventure, and connecting with people.

This project would lead me to become the protagonist in a real-life choose-your-own-adventure where the internet would tell me where to go and what to do when I got there. I spent nearly 2 years criss-crossing the United States on an epic road trip covering over 60,000 miles.

It was supposed to be fun. And some of it was. But it was also far more challenging than I ever expected in ways that I could never have anticipated. It changed my life, my relationships, and my view of the world. In short, it changed everything.

When my cross country travels finally came to an end, my journey along the path less traveled continued. And it did so in ways I didn't expect. Because, when it comes down to it, life is a journey. And when you take the path less traveled, you are far less likely to know what you'll get than you will by following the footsteps of others. But one thing you can almost be certain of, the challenges you face beyond your comfort zone will trigger personal growth beyond anything a person typically experiences living in the confines of comfort.

It is from my journey along the path less traveled that I use real-life experiences as a foundation for learning and sharing life's lessons. I am not here to glorify the path less traveled, I'm simply here to share what I've learned from it.

What a fantastic book. I've found it full of inspiration to see things differently and to appreciate more of what matters every day. Reading about Zero's journey, and how he overcomes the situations he encounters, brings a very real and identifiable edge to the text - this is what makes it ideal for all those who are seeking a little more meaning to their lives. This is the ideal book to dip into and it's definitely one to recommend to family and friends.

I received Lessons Learned from The Path Less Traveled by Zero Dean as a gift from my close friend. It was a very unexpected, but very appropriate and necessary gift. To be honest, I was going through hard times and was one step away from depression. I am very careful about motivational literature, but this book has really changed my life. What Zero Dean is talking about and how he gives information is unique. This book is full of very useful tips and specific, clear and proven techniques that are effective and easy to apply. Thanks to Zero Dean and his book, I learned that everything that is needed for happiness, success and positive changes in one’s own life is a great desire. I advise this book to anyone who wants to live better and more consciously! I will certainly re-read this book again and again!

This isn't a book to read all in one go. It's a book to dip in to, to ponder on, to make notes about.

It starts off with the author's story: why he changed his life, what he learned, what he missed, what he'd do different next time. He then moves on to a series of thoughts from his experiences.

He's quick to tell you that not all will be relevant to you: to pick and choose what suits you, what you need to learn or understand. And there is nothing mind-blowing here: if you have studied self-development before, much of this you may already know. But then it doesn't hurt to have it repeated, as many of us are guilty of knowing a lot but not taking action. If this is the book that inspires you to take action, then the author will have succeeded in his mission..

It's written in a conversational style so it's really easy to read. It's a book that you would be wise to keep by your side for years to come. No matter who you are or where you are in life, I think everyone could learn something from this.

Not everyone will understand your Journey. That’s fine. It’s not their journey to make sense of. It’s yours.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE PATH LESS TRAVELED is a book meant to change one’s life. As it has been mentioned, it’s not a book for the masses, it’s a book for the people really wishing for a change in their lives.

This book teaches you just the right lessons you need to learn, and in a way that it touches your heart and soul.

Some of the beautiful lessons taught in this book include aspects such as motivation, discipline, confidence, relationships, fears, life and awareness.

There are insights, tools and techniques mentioned in the book that can LITERALLY change your life, and from a personal reading, I could tell that this book is written with the purest intentions at heart.

The Author takes you to a journey of self-discovery sharing this experiences and insights on a number of things he dealt with or has seen people dealing with.

The book starts beautifully with the introduction of people and gradually takes off to learn the lessons of life.

The book is written in a simple language and is very easy to understand. Even the most complicated things of life are taught in a way that anyone can grasp them.

If I was a publisher, I would say the Potential of this book is beyond expectations because it has so much value in it that one just can’t put a price on it.

This was such a beautiful read and I recommend it to everyone irrespective of what your life status is.
