Not generally a fan of academic books of collected essays but this is an exception. With just a couple of exceptions, this is nothing but bangers. If you have any interest in historic preservation, this is required reading.

Meh.... some good chapters, some not so good. It does give perspective on the history of historic preservation in the United States.
