A brand new emotional and steamy novella featuring the beloved hero and heroine of the Lock & Key series, Lock and Grace.
Everything that could go wrong just did.
T’was the night before Christmas in Meager, South Dakota, and Grace’s plans for the perfect holiday for her new family just went up in smoke.
Grace and Lock are closer and hotter than ever, their young son is thriving. But after a sudden blizzard snows them in on Christmas Eve and Lock barely makes it home safe, there are no guests arriving, and due to a planning snafu, no presents under the tree for their little boy. And Thunder is eagerly waiting for Santa. What are Mom and Dad going to do? The answer comes from someone unexpected, bringing this couple who know that second chances are everything, unforeseen revelations, new traditions, and a reunion. From brother to brother, husband to wife, and parent to child, on this special day a gift of the heart is the most profound gift of all.
This short read romance picks up after the four Lock & Key series motorcycle club romantic suspense books and opens the door to more from these characters and their epic saga in Cat Porter’s upcoming 2019 release
**This book is intended for mature audiences due to graphic sexual content and language**
I daydream all the time, "what if" way too much, and am a lip-biting romantic. And I don't want to be cured of any of those. Ever. A New Yorker who now lives on a beach in beautiful Greece, I've been writing since forever because I need to. I have two children's books traditionally published and I've self-published my romantic suspense series, spinoff standalones, and a historical. Join me in my world!
Short and sweet and probably should have been read over the Christmas holidays and not in January. Still, it was lovely to catch up with Grace and Miller again.
Super short (it ends at 54%) but it’s also super sweet with lots of cuteness from Thunder plus all the sexiness that comes with Lock and Grace when they can sneak some alone time in. Perfect for reading during those wrapping and baking breaks.
A super-sexy and sweet short story about the true meaning of Christmas! Spend some time with Grace and Lock in this lovely holiday novella. Reading this makes me want more from Cat Porter, one of the queens of MC romance. Happy holidays and enjoy!
I never get tired of reading about Meager, South Dakota, and their residents. Grace and Miller prove once again that the fires are still burning even after having a young, active son running around. I loved the closure in this book. It seems as though Miller and his estranged father Jason both have buried their demons and can become a real family. Beautiful story.
Grace and Lock have to improvise when Christmas does not appear to be turning out the way they hoped it would. There is a snowstorm that has caused them to be without presents for Thunder. Thunder is very much looking forward to a visit from Santa so Grace knows they have to do something to make this Christmas special. They improvise and make special moments with the 3 of them. Lock and Grace also start a new tradition of their own and it was interesting to see these 2 still going strong. Nice, quick read.
Miller and Grace are fire.. All the feels, and the set up for what’s to come. I have missed Cat’s writing and her characters so much. This was the absolute perfect Christmas present!! Go and read the Lock&Key series if you haven’t yet. I’m so anticipating the new year.
A sweet Christmas novella for fans of this series. Catch up with Grace and Miller and get a glimpse of their life now with four year old Thunder. Not everything goes to plan at Christmas time when they find themselves snowed in and unable to get Thunders Christmas presents to him. This novella is heartwarming, a reminder of the chemistry between these two characters and the meaning of family at Christmas.
A surprise treat! It was great to catch up with Grace and Lock. A sweet story about the meaning of Christmas. Can’t wait to see what Cat has in store for the series in the future!
I will never get enough of this world Cat Porter has created. If living in the fictional world of Meager, South Dakota was an option, I would legit move there.
Simply beautiful. This book maybe a novella but it had me craving for more. When I reached the end I actually cried noooooo.
Such a lovely little story and it was with my favourite couple and their gorgeous little boy Thunder. Love his name!!!
It was great that it was more from Millar's POV. He is such a deeper character than most. My heart melted with how Millar was with Thunder. Could just picture this huge guy laying behind Thunder while he slept in his teepee. Made me love him even more.
Millar and Grace together are always off the charts sexy. Their chemistry is just beautiful to read and Cat portrays their love for each other and their love for their son so well it makes you 100% fall in love with them even more.
The two Dad's turning up Christmas morning was a lovely surprise, especially Millars Dad since he never featured before. The revelations were special to read about and how they affected Millar.
A great little addition to a wonderful series. A must read that is for sure!
I can not even tell you how pleased and excited I was when I found out this Christmas story existed. I finally got around to reading the Lock & Key series last spring. ( I think ). I not only devoured this series, it devoured me. I read a lot! Rarely do I find a series so compelling. Each and every character have become important to me. I find myself randomly wondering about Meager and what it’s inhabitants are up to. This little slice of the life of Miller and Grace was like an early Christmas present I didn’t even know I wanted! I started it and read it straight through. It was wonderful. It brought us information that I think will be useful when reading Wreck’s upcoming story and I CAN NOT wait. On a scale of 1-5 this entire series is a 10. If you haven’t read this series yet do it. Have tissues ready you will need them. Dig forever!
To be back in Meager for Christmas with Miller and Grace is the best present ever. This touching novella reminds me just how powerful a love these two have not only for each other but for their 4 year old son Thunder. Grace stays positive when a snowstorm threatens Santa's arrival and their impromptu picnic and sleepover is what true happiness is made of. We also get a short glimpse into their passion for one another and I happy to say that hasn't wavered one bit.
Christmas holds a few surprises for Miller and Grace and the family they have nearby and those who are far away. Lock & Key Christmas was just what I needed on a chilly winter's day to warm me up and make me smile.
Although their holiday didn't quite turn into the perfect one that they'd planned, it actually became something so much more. With the joys, laughter, emotional highs and lows, as well as the worrying about getting everything done, making it a great celebration, and everything in between, this story shows that the true meaning of the holidays isn't about the presents, food, or being perfect, but about sharing it all with those you love and making as many memories as you can. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and fantastic author.
You've done it again Cat. Your words are so beautiful and poignant. You managed to tie up so many loose ends for Mill and his father.
The fact that they made new family holiday memories was wonderful.
.... and I cried. But Cat's books always make me cry. These tears were not sad tears. More tears of joy for the family and tears of hope for them all moving forward.
This was just a short, sweet and quick read. It takes place at Christmas at Miller and Grace's home. The possibility that presents may not arrive, and the surprises family can bring, is just a brief glimpse at the story, anything else would spoil it.
It was a well written short, with emotions and surprises, and the idea of being grateful for what you do have. Very uplifting.
This surprise novella from Cat Porter packs quite an emotional punch. I loved this glimpse into Grace and Miller’s life with their young son, and the feelings and memories the holiday brings for both of them. I was very moved by Miller’s memories of and the love and appreciation he carries in his heart for his brother. I’m more eager than ever for Wreck’s story.
I read the Lock & Key series as well as Fury a while back. Have even re-read a few of them! Cat Porter is one of my favourite writers. I love her style of writing, she’s a great storyteller. This little novella brought back all the feels from the other novels. It evoked memories of stories past. Just loved it. Thanks Cat!
This short story is the perfect touch for the holidays. I loved revisiting Grace and Miller, seeing how their lives have been fulfilled with Thunder. Their relationships with their dads and how Thunder is able to form a bond with his grandpas.
Thank you Cat Porter for giving us revisit to Meager and two of our favorite characters.
In this novella, we get Miller, Grace, & little Thunder celebrating Christmas. With a heavy snow storm blanketing Meager and presents locked up away from home, Miller and Grace are worried that this will be a sad Christmas for Thunder. This is a cute short story with a bit of heat thrown in. There is a happy ending that leaves a smile on your face.
What's not to love? It's Grace and Lock and Christmas and Cat Porter!! Everything she writes is glitter and gold and steamy for the holidays =) Get it for yourself as it is a must have for fans of this series!
This tiny novella is a fun and sweet glimpse into Grace and Miller's life now with their 4 year old son. I loved this! Lock & Key Christmas may be a tiny novella but it is packed full of emotion. Beautiful little story.
A very sweet Christmas read. Lock and Key Christmas focuses on Grace, Miller and their son Thunder. Although I would have preferred a little longer read......It ends at 50% ....It was still nice to reconnect with some of our favorite characters
This was a short story that serves up some holiday punch! So good to visit with Grace, Miller and Thunder, being a sweet family on a snowed-in Christmas. We're treated to back story about Wreck, which primes us up for Cat Porter's next release.
I think of everyone in this series, these two people are my favorite. I love seeing Christmas Meager style. Thunder is going to be an awesome man someday. The next generation of Jacks.
I love getting to sneak back into the family that started it all for us. It’s also lovely to see Miller getting a moment of catharsis after all he’s been through. Love my Meager family & the this special present to all of us.
I am a big fan of Ms Porter's! I accidentally ran into one of her books and loved every minute of it😘Now I'm confused and I'm gonna have to read everything in order to follow this saga. Believe me it's not a hardship😁 💓Loving her 😍
